Willow Crawford checked the ti, Miles Linden was definitely going to be late.
He knew about the exam competition today, he would definitely co, he wasn’t afraid, certainly not a coward.

This math exam was indeed difficult, and since Willow Crawford was already struggling with her weaknesses, she didn’t do well either. More importantly, she kept thinking about Miles Linden.

"Willow Crawford," Freddy swaggered over, quite pleased with himself, "I heard Miles Linden didn’t co to the exam. I really didn’t expect him to be such a coward."

Freddy knew that Willow Crawford would stand up for Miles Linden. It seed as though Miles had cast a spell on her, making her infatuated.
"Willow Crawford, you probably don’t know, but we have a bet. The bet involves you. Whoever wins the competition gets you; it looks like Miles has given up on the competition and you," Freddy laughed.
Willow Crawford was getting more and more annoyed with Freddy and didn’t want to deal with him anymore, "You’re ridiculous, I don’t belong to anyone, I only belong to myself."
With that, Willow Crawford turned and walked away.
"Willow Crawford!" Freddy grabbed Willow’s slender wrist.
In the past, Miles Linden had also grabbed her wrist and even held her hand. But she felt no aversion back then. Now, being grabbed by Freddy made Willow particularly repulsed; she couldn’t accept his touch.
"Freddy, let go of !" Willow forcibly shook him off.

Freddy was stunned; he didn’t expect Miles Linden to co, especially after arranging for soone to stop him.
Miles wore a white school-style shirt, his fringed bangs covering his chilly and gloomy phoenix eyes. Though his handso face was bruised, it didn’t diminish his charm; instead, it added a touch of wildness.
Miles strode forward, his sharp gaze scanning the hand Freddy was gripping on Willow’s wrist, then he lifted his thin lips, "Let her go."
He said it twice.
"Mi... Miles, how did you get here..." Freddy stamred.
Miles glanced at Freddy; having just fought, his aggressive aura hadn’t dispersed, "I don’t like repeating myself a third ti. If you don’t let go, you’ll end up like those people you hired, in the hospital."
He... knew?
Freddy instinctively released his grip.
At this mont, Miles extended his well-defined fingers, grasping Willow’s small hand, gently pulling her into his arms.
Willow stood up straight, feeling Miles’s arm wrap around her soft, slender waist, gently holding her.
Willow had read in a magazine that when a man wraps his arm around a woman’s waist, it is a blatant assertion of possession and declaration.
He was declaring that she was his.
Miles held Willow tightly and walked away; as they left, he bumped Freddy lightly, whispering, "Better watch yourself."
Freddy was about to explode; Miles Linden was just too insolent.
But Freddy also felt a bit apprehensive, sensing that Miles Linden wasn’t as straightforward as he seed. "Willow." Miles grabbed her small hand.

Miles curled his lips, "Let’s go, the second exam is about to start."
"Miles, you’ve already missed the math exam, there’s no hope of winning the competition this ti." Willow’s eyes looked disheartened.
Miles didn’t speak, just stared at her.
"What are you looking at?" Willow asked, puzzled.
Then Miles suddenly stepped forward, closing in on her.
His gaze at that mont was very invasive, like a ticulous hunter eyeing his tasty prey, advancing step by step.
Instinctively, Willow moved backward until she hit the wall and had nowhere to retreat.
Then Miles’s tall and handso figure pressed over her, "Willow, if I win, will you be mine, okay?"
