Now reading: Chapter 1388: Punished with No Dinner from Substitute Bride: Utterly Pampered by Her Billionaire Husband, a Romance novel by Liuli Xuexue.

This beauty is none other than Wesley Kingsley, the second lady of the Kingsley family. She wears a white dress, placing her small hands into Morgan Ashworth’s palm, looking blissfully small-bird dependent.

Willow Crawford froze. Everything that happened today was already surreal enough; now she was even more at a loss about what was going on.

"Quick, look there, that’s Wesley Kingsley, the second lady of the Kingsley family!"

"It’s said that the three daughters of the Kingsley family are destined to be queens. This claim is being verified one by one. Once the second lady marries our master, she will beco a queen."

What, this is Wesley Kingsley, the second lady of the Kingsley family?

Willow Crawford’s eyes widened instantly. If she rembered correctly, her elder brother intended to ally with the Kingsley family, and this second lady Wesley Kingsley was her future sister-in-law.

But her future sister-in-law turned out to be Morgan Ashworth’s fiancée?

Morgan Ashworth is getting married?

Willow Crawford felt as though her head was about to explode. In one night, the world outside had undergone earth-shattering changes.

"Why are you still standing here; weren’t you told to go clean?"

"Why are you looking at the second lady of the Kingsley family? She is the cream of the crop, and you are just a lowly maid. Different lives, different fates, understand? You should learn to accept your lot in life."

"Quickly get to work, or I’ll whip you, believe that!"

The stewardess here was very shrewd and fierce. Seeing Willow Crawford not doing her work, she imdiately scolded her with hands on hips, even pointing at Willow Crawford’s nose.

Willow Crawford was speechless. Talking about the crè de la crè, she probably was not worse than anyone, but since she woke up, she inexplicably beca a maid, and the stewardess forced her to yield to such arrangents of fate.

What on earth is going on?

At this mont, a reprimanding voice sounded, "What are you guys arguing about here; be careful not to disturb the master and the second lady of the Kingsley family!"

Eleven arrived.

Willow Crawford looked up to see Morgan Ashworth strolling over from the other end of the lawn, holding Wesley Kingsley’s small hand. Wesley had beautiful big eyes, which were now gazing upon her with a touch of curiosity, "Morgan, what’s happening over there?"

Morgan Ashworth’s gaze slowly landed on her.

Willow Crawford t his gaze eye to eye. Morgan Ashworth’s gaze was cold and aloof, with an air of contemptuous superiority. He lifted his lips slightly, "Oh, just so issues among the servants. Wesley, let’s go inside."

The "servant" Willow Crawford, "..."

Who she was, others might not know, but would Morgan Ashworth not know?

Yet, he directly labeled her with the "servant" tag, centing her identity as a maid.

Looks like she must accept the fact that she’s rely a maid, a servant here.

Now Willow Crawford knew that she had probably arrived at The rfolk Kingdom, on Morgan Ashworth’s turf.

Her mory was still stuck at when she was passed out in that secretly guarded room. There was sothing wrong with the water she drank, and then when she opened her eyes, she had arrived here.

All this surely had sothing to do with Morgan Ashworth.

Willow Crawford didn’t know how things were outside now; had this First Princess already "died"?

And what about her family?

"You, hurry up and go clean, be quick about it!" the stern stewardess shoved Willow Crawford inside without any regard.

Willow Crawford, "..."

...

Morgan Ashworth and Wesley Kingsley sat down and began dining, as the maids served exquisite als.

Willow Crawford stood at the doorway, far away from them, trying to minimize her presence, holding a cloth and wiping a vase.

She forced herself not to pay attention to Morgan Ashworth and Wesley Kingsley, but when those dishes were placed on the table, rely slling the aroma made Willow Crawford’s stomach growl twice.

She was hungry!

Willow Crawford touched her flat stomach; she hadn’t eaten for a long ti and was very hungry and quite embarrassed.

Luckily, no one heard her stomach rumbling, or she might have found a hole to hide in out of embarrassnt.

"Wesley, try this fish; the at is very tender." Morgan Ashworth’s voice reached her ears.

Wesley Kingsley looked at the fish on the plate, shaking her head, "I don’t eat fish; there are bones that might get stuck."

So Morgan Ashworth picked up chopsticks and ticulously removed each fish bone, placing the succulent fish at beside Wesley Kingsley’s hand, gently and considerately saying, "Wesley, you can eat it now."

"Master Morgan, thank you." Wesley Kingsley elegantly picked a bite of the fish, smiling radiantly, "Mm, the fish is indeed delicious."

The two sweetly interacted, and Willow Crawford couldn’t help but sneak a peek. Even during her passionate affair with Morgan Ashworth five years ago, he never picked fish bones for her by hand.

Hmph!

Indeed, a heartthrob!

Willow Crawford was sowhat angry, and couldn’t help but increase the force under her hand. At this mont, her hand slipped, and the vase imdiately fell off the table.

Crash.

The vase shattered on the ground, breaking into pieces.

The air instantly fell silent, not a sound echoed.

Both Morgan Ashworth and Wesley Kingsley looked over simultaneously.

Willow Crawford, who had never done such work, nor broken a vase, froze like a child who had ssed up.

The furious stewardess rushed in first, exclaiming, "Oh my, this was the master’s favorite vase, worth a fortune! How clumsy, you can’t even clean a vase properly."

"I... didn’t do it on purpose..." Willow Crawford softly and weakly defended herself, her pale fingers helplessly clutching the cloth, looking at the broken vase, teeth tightly biting her red lip, face full of "sorry."

The stewardess was livid, "Get out of here quickly, don’t embarrass yourself; go reflect in the black room!"

Knowing she was at fault, Willow Crawford turned to leave.

But at this mont, Morgan Ashworth’s deep magnetic voice transmitted to her ear, "Wait."

Willow Crawford’s heart fluttered; what did he want to say, was he perhaps going to shield her?

Morgan Ashworth saw the hope in Willow Crawford’s eyes, slowly squinting his slender eyes, then said indifferently, "Mistakes deserve punishnt; deny her als!"

Willow Crawford, whose stomach was growling "grumble grumble," "..."

How could she hold out any hope for him now; he was not saving her but making things worse!

...

Willow Crawford was confined in the black room, which was indeed cold, dark, and small. She hugged her knees, curling up in a corner, started reflecting on life.

Life is indeed intriguing; for her first twenty years, she was a noble lady of the high gates, the Princess of Alani, the First Princess, born amidst countless flowers, applause, and aura, with everyone beneath her feet.

Yet, everything changed overnight.

Now she was so cold, so hungry, nearly suffering from the cold and hunger, not only bullied by Morgan Ashworth but also ordered around and bullied by anyone.

Willow Crawford hugged herself tighter, feeling truly pitiful.
