The crowd was so terrified their legs went weak. They’re not from the martial world, and seeing such a grand spectacle, all they wanted was to flee.
Initially, this whole affair had nothing to do with them. They were just here to stand up for Anabelle. Now that their own safety was at risk, the more timid ones turned and ran, "Run! Run!"
The butler sneered coldly, "Trying to run now? Do you think you can just co and go from the Sterling family as you please?"
The bolder ones tried to suppress their fear and looked at the butler, feigning calmness, "What... what exactly do you want?"
The butler said, "Close the gates, release the dogs!"
With a loud boom, the Sterling family’s rosewood gate was shut, and soon dog barks and chaotic cries filled the air.
