Felix walked steadily toward the ward, keeping his gaze straight ahead, ignoring the pedestrians on both sides. At this mont, Serena brushed past him, causing his footsteps to halt abruptly.
Felix suddenly stopped.
He turned around and looked at Serena, still in the guise of a man, slim in stature, with a cap pulled low over her head.

The Serena ahead heard Felix’s voice, but she did not stop, continuing forward as if nothing had happened.

But just then, an orderly pushed a cart over, directly bumping into Felix, blocking his way.
The orderly quickly said, "Sorry, sorry."
Felix looked up, seeing Serena’s figure already disappearing around the corner.
"Move!" Felix pushed the orderly aside and then began chasing Serena.
He chased her to the elevator, but Serena had already taken the elevator down.
Felix quickly reached to press the elevator button, but all the buttons suddenly went dark, and the elevator abruptly stopped functioning.
Leaving the elevator behind, Felix dashed into the stairwell, descending as fast as possible.
When he reached the hospital’s entrance, he saw just the rear of the black van, which had already sped away.
Fixing his gaze on the black van, Felix swiftly took out his phone and said to the person on the other end, "Check a vehicle, license plate number XXXXX..."
Before Felix could finish speaking, he saw the rear window of the black van in front of him slowly sliding down, and then a slender, white hand extended out, making a gesture toward him.
Serena extended her middle finger, then pointed it downward.

Soon, the black van disappeared from view.
Felix tightened his grip on the phone; all these days, Serena had been like a little mouse playing between his hands, appearing exhausted but suddenly bursting with energy and catching him off guard.

In the morning, Felix, who hadn’t closed his eyes all night, received a call, reporting respectfully, "Young Master Knight, the black van has been located!"

"The black van is registered under the Research Center’s license; upon further investigation, the owner is Prof.X, a renowned figure across Aethelgard—her van travels unobstructed throughout!"

Felix knew of the legendary dical figure X, despite X being fairly low-key and mysterious, with no one having seen her true face.

"Where is Serena now?" Felix inquired.
"Young Master Knight, the black van headed to the underground research base; Serena should be inside."
Serena was hiding in the underground research base, no wonder she couldn’t be found all over Aethelgard these days!
"Got it, I’m going to find her now!" Felix abruptly hung up and headed out.
Outside, he encountered Aurora, the bride-to-be for today. Aurora was in good spirits, "Brother, where are you going at this hour? It’s my wedding day!"
Felix hurriedly left, "I have sothing to handle."
He needed to find Serena, with no ti to attend this wedding!

Her bright, clear eyes fell on Felix’s handso face, her red lips slowly curling, "Felix, you finally ca; I’ve been waiting for you for quite so ti."
