Is Caden a child with ... psychological defects?
This sentence exploded in Serena Sterling’s ear. How could it be possible? Pip and Stella are so healthy. Pip is just a little troublemaker who can turn the house upside down in a short ti, and Stella is sweet and soft, the beloved little princess of Alani.

Serena was shocked, but she quickly cald down. Her Caden definitely doesn’t have defects. She believes in Caden!

The children’s voices were tender and bright as they echoed Mr. Collins.
Caden Crawford sat in his chair and glanced at the numbers, feeling they were so childish.
A mobile gaming app tycoon, a programming genius who loves numbers, a company CEO who wouldn’t blink an eye at flashing, rolling numbers. Yet, here he was, sitting in preschool with these kids, learning 1, 2, 3. Caden felt truly offended.
Caden opened his mouth slightly, then lay on the table and fell asleep.
At this ti, Mr. Collins put down the number chart, "All right, kids, now Mr. Collins will formally introduce a new teacher to you. This new teacher will be taking care of you along with Mr. Collins. Let’s welco Ms. Sterling with applause."
The kids were very supportive, clapping their little hands and craning forward curiously to see if the new teacher was pretty and gentle.
At this ti, Serena Sterling walked in, her red lips curved as she glanced at the kids with bright eyes. "Hello, children, I am your new teacher, Ms. Sterling!"
Wow!
The children exclaid in awe. Oh my, the new teacher is so pretty and gentle, even prettier and gentler than their moms, like a fairy descending from heaven.
Excitedly, one of the kids nudged Caden, "Caden, wake up, look at the new fairy teacher, wow!"
Caden was already asleep. Last night, he checked so programming bugs, so he was late to bed. He was really tired now, and not interested in any new teacher.
Serena looked towards Caden from the podium, then walked over to him, saying, "Caden, wake up, the sun is already shining on your little backside."
In his drowsiness, Caden heard a soft, clear voice, such a beautiful voice, just like he had imagined his mom’s voice would be.
Caden quickly opened his eyes, awake.
Instantly, he saw Serena Sterling.
Today, Serena was wearing a floral dress, with long, black hair smoothly cascading down. Her small, exquisite face was strikingly beautiful. Now, she stood in front of Caden with the radiant sunlight shining behind her, enveloping her in gleaming warmth as she looked down at him, smiling.
Caden felt like he was dreaming. He often dreamt of his mom, seeing her standing in the sunlight, smiling at him like this.
But in his dreams, he couldn’t clearly see his mom’s face, no matter how hard he tried.
Now, he sees clearly, the dream and reality swiftly rging into one.
Caden imdiately rubbed his sleepy eyes because he felt this was still a dream.
Serena slowly squatted down, resting her chin on her hand playfully blinking her eyelashes, "Caden, you are so cute, why hide your face while sleeping? If you listen to Ms. Sterling and go to bed before nine o’clock from tonight, you will be even cuter tomorrow."
Now, the two were very close, close enough for Caden to see the star-filled eyes of Serena, close enough to catch a whiff of the sweet scent from Serena, almost like the fragrance from his mom.
A blush slowly crept over Caden’s delicate and aloof little face, making him feel a bit shy.
"Ta-da," Serena magically produced many small gifts, "Kids, today Ms. Sterling has prepared a gift for each of you."
Wow!
The children’s eyes shone brightly as Serena held little trinkets in her hands. So were cute little princess Barbie dolls; others were adorable cartoon characters, straight to the children’s hearts.
"Fairy teacher, I want this."
"Fairy teacher, I want this."
The children eagerly ca forward to choose their favorite gifts.
Caden watched the chattering children from the back corner where he’d been squeezed out.
"Caden," Serena waved to him.
Caden hesitated for a mont, then stepped forward.
Serena handed him a small gift in his palm, "Caden, this is for you."
Caden looked down at his gift, a simple smiley face that was big, clean, warm, and bright.
"I heard you’re already super aweso, Caden, so Ms. Sterling hopes you can smile more," said Serena as she traced a big smile with her fingers on his sculpted little face, "Just like this."

When school ended, Hayden Crawford ca to pick up Caden. His Rolls-Royce Phantom, parked by the roadside, was extrely eye-catching.
He got out of the car in a handmade black suit, tall and handso, leaning against the luxury car. His remarkable aura and good looks instantly made him the standout among those picking up children!
Mr. Collins led the kids out, and Hayden walked over with his long strides, taking Caden’s little backpack in one hand and comfortably carrying him with the other.
