"What did you say?"
Gray had been silent the whole ti Joel and the four n spoke. However, when he heard what they were offering, his eyes quickly turned toward them.
For a mont, he studied their faces. He wanted to see if they were just joking or exaggerating. But the way they looked at him looked as if they were really serious.
"..." His brows rose slightly. He was also a little skeptical, like Joel.
"Would that really be fine with you?" Gray finally asked? He squinted his eyes and suspiciously looked at them.
The leader puffed his chest out and answered without hesitation.
"Of course!"
"Yeah," another one quickly added. "We may not have much in life, but all of us have motorbikes!"
"Yes!"
"I agree!"
The last two nodded eagerly. Their big bodies bounced in excitent as they thought that they might be able to give back to Gray.
For them, the last thing they wanted to have was to owe anyone a debt. It was the sa for Gray, who had already given them so much.
"Hmm..." Gray’s eyes widened slightly. Hope flickered in them for a mont.
"Alright," He was embarrassed to ask for help from them. But, right at this mont, it was what they needed the most.
Gray slowly straightened his posture and looked at them with determination.
"Co on," he said firmly afterward. A small smile tugged at his lips afterward.
"Let’s go to my office then and talk about it."
Ro and the four n lit up instantly.
"Lead the way and we’ll follow you, Boss!" They cheered out loud as their faces broke into a huge smile.
A few custors turned their heads at it, but none of them seed to care.
Joel only sighed, shaking his head.
"It seed like our boss found reliable n to help us."

Inside Gray’s office, the space was cramped as 4 humongous bodies entered.
He knew that his office wasn’t that small. It was even bigger than most standard sizes. However, with Gray, Joel, Ro, and the four towering n squeezed in, it almost felt like the space was too small.
As they sat there in silence, the sll of freshly brewed coffee and pastries soon enveloped the air. A staff mber from the small cafe of their store brought in a tray filled with cups of coffee and freshly baked pastries.
Gray ordered them as they waited for Ron’s answer.
"You guys can eat first," Gray muttered to them in a light voice. "We’ll discuss what to do once everyone’s settled."
The four n didn’t need to be told twice. Truth to be told, they were also hungry.
"Thank you, boss!"
"We’ll work hard!"
"Don’t worry!"
They dove into the food enthusiastically as they muttered their continuous thanks after every bite.
anwhile, Gray sat behind his desk. His fingers slightly played on his pen as he waited for an answer. Every few minutes, he would glance anxiously at his screen. He was eagerly waiting for Ron’s response on how they could legally arrange their own delivery drivers.
However, despite the anxiousness in his mind, the room was filled with the sound of chewing and the occasional laughter from the thugs as they shared little jokes with each other.
Yet beneath that noise, everyone was waiting to hear Gray’s decision once Ron replied.
Gray leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. They waited longer.
And after what felt like an eternity, Ron finally gave an update.
Gray’s phone buzzed lightly on the desk. The screen lit up with Ron’s na.
Everyone in the office paused mid-bite and looked at Gray when they heard the notification coming in.
He swiped it open imdiately.
"Hello, Ron?" Gray leaned forward and answered the incoming call. His voice was filled with anticipation.
"Yes, Sir," Ron’s tone ca in on the other side. "I’ve spoken with the team, and they say we can work on it."
Gray’s eyes narrowed slightly.
"Here’s how it will go, Sir." Ron continued.
"You’ll need to submit the nas of the riders you want under your store, along with their driver’s licenses. Since this is an urgent case, the company will allow them to start today, provided they have valid licenses."
"But within a week, all legal requirents must be submitted to us. Their vehicle registration, insurance, and proof of identity. After that, they’ll be officially recognized under Jet2’s system."
Gray let out a long breath, his shoulders loosening a little bit with what he heard.
"So they can start today?"
"Yes, Sir. Today," Ron confird.
"They’ll need to sign up at the Jet2 site and apply as drivers, but once you forward their nas, I’ll make sure the team approves them imdiately."
"For now, Jet2 will set their assigned area exclusively to your store so they won’t be routed to other shops. But the stricter checks will begin tomorrow and the following days. They’ll need to finish everything within the week."
Gray’s lips curved faintly. It wasn’t a perfect solution, but it was enough. Enough to keep their service alive.
"I understand. Thank you, Ron. Forward the details right away."
"Already done, Sir. I’ll stay on standby in case you need help with processing."
"Good." Gray ended the call and set his phone down, his fingers tapping against the desk.
The mont his eyes looked up, he was t with five pairs of eager stares.
Gray straightened his posture.
"Listen carefully. Ron said we can start today. All we need are your nas and licenses. Once I forward them, Jet2 will approve you imdiately and assign you to our store. But—" he raised a finger to prevent them from speaking first.
"You need to finish submitting the rest of the legal requirents within a week. Vehicle registration, insurance, and proof of ID. Otherwise, they won’t let you continue."
For a mont, the room was silent. Then, one of the thugs slamd his cup down on the table, grinning widely.
"Sir, that’s no problem! We’re prepared!"
"Yeah!" another chid in, practically bouncing in his seat. "We rode our motorbikes here today!"
The tallest one jumped to his feet, patting his chest with pride.
"Then let’s not waste ti. Let’s go, fellas!"
