As the car pulled into the driveway, the tall silhouette of Tower C stood high above them.

Seeing it, Lily beca quiet. Too quiet. She was speechless. It was not because she had nothing to say, but because she didn’t know how to say anything.

Her eyes were practically glued to the window.

The car finally ca to a stop under the shaded drop-off area.

Daniel stepped out first and opened the door for them.

Gray got out first, then turned to Lily, holding out a hand for her.

She didn’t take it right away. She was still staring at the marble flooring, the soft water sounds from a nearby decorative fountain, and the bellboy near the lobby holding a small golden tablet.

"This is really where we’re moving?" she asked again, just to be sure.

Gray smiled. "Yes. Lily. Co on."

Lily finally stepped out of the car.

She didn’t say anything at first.

She just stood there beside Gray, holding her bag tightly, as if she was afraid she might wake up any mont.

A staff mber approached them quickly, wearing the sa Elysian Properties uniform as the movers earlier.

"Sir Gray?" he asked politely.

"Yes."

"We finished setting up your unit a few minutes ago. Everything has been placed and arranged as per your instructions. Please let us know if you’d like anything changed."

"Thank you," Gray nodded with a small smile.

The staff bowed slightly and stepped aside, leading them in through the private lobby reserved for residents.

Lily followed close behind, her shoes tapping softly against the polished floor.

They entered the private elevator, and the staff swiped the card for them.

"You’ll be heading up to the floor, Sir."

The elevator ride was fast and smooth like before. Lily didn’t even blink. Her hand was clutching Gray’s sleeve the whole ti.

When the elevator doors slid open, the hallway greeted them with its soft lights.

Gray led her to the right hallway. And there, just like before, was the matte black door with the brushed gold handle.

He stepped forward, swiped the card, and pushed the door open.

"Welco ho, Lily," he happily said to her.

Lily stepped inside first.

And then she froze.

The entire unit was already set.

All their belongings, the ones they brought from the apartnt, had already been placed in the right places.

The staff had even unboxed the kitchenware and lined it inside the drawers. Their bedsheets were laid out. The sofa had their old throw blanket folded over one side. The family boxes were safely stacked near the bookshelf, untouched and handled with care.

The sleek modern furniture that ca with the unit made everything look. But it still felt like ho.

It still felt like it was theirs.

Lily walked slowly toward the living room. Her eyes scanned everything from the high ceiling to the glass windows that stretched from wall to wall.

She didn’t speak.

Not until she reached the window.

There, with the whole skyline spread out in front of her, she turned her head back toward Gray.

"...Brother."

"Yeah?"

"This... this is really ours?"

Gray leaned against the doorfra, watching her closely from behind.

He nodded and smiled at her.

"All of it."

Lily turned back to the window, and her reflection could be seen faintly in the glass. She didn’t speak for a few seconds.

"...It’s really big."

Gray laughed. "I know."

"Do we get lost if we walk too far?" she asked, turning her head.

"Maybe," Gray shrugged. "I’ll tie a bell to your shirt if I have to."

Lily laughed softly. Then ran straight toward one of the bedrooms like she couldn’t stop herself anymore.

"This one’s mine!"

Gray smiled to himself, watching her disappear into the hallway.

He looked around the unit again. The way everything was laid out, it was hard to believe they were living here now.

But they were.

The place didn’t just look expensive.

It looked like a dream.

Gray stepped further inside, his footsteps slow and quiet against the hardwood floor.

The sun could be seen through the floor-to-ceiling windows. It cast golden streaks across the living room.

He walked past the hallway, checking the rooms one by one. Lily’s voice echoed from the bedroom that she claid.

"Brother! There’s even a drawer inside! A drawer!"

"Don’t keep your chocolate in there." Gray chuckled.

She popped her head out of the door and looked at Gray with pleading eyes. "Can I?"

"No."

Lily pouted in disappointnt, but after a few seconds, she disappeared again. Lily was clearly in a good mood. She was even humming to herself as she explored every corner of her new space. He could hear her opening cabinets and talking to herself in disbelief.

Gray smiled at it.

He stepped into his own room next. Everything had been placed neatly. His desk sat against the window. There was even a large bookshelf on the side. And in his own wardrobe, his clothes were hung up.

He sat down on the edge of the mattress.

It was soft. Too soft.

He bounced a little, like a kid trying to test it.

"This is so good," he muttered.

Gray slowly leaned forward, resting his arms on his knees, staring at the floor for a second.

It was weird. Feeling this much... peace.

Finally, they have a place. A quiet place.

A place Lily could finally grow up in without worrying about whether they’d have enough to pay bills next month.

He rubbed his face with his hands.

God, it really happened.

A few minutes later, Lily went into his room barefoot.

Gray imdiately glanced up at her. He smiled and motioned for Lily to sit beside him.

"Do you like it, Lily?" he asked her. His voice was warm and loving.

Lily smiled and hugged Gray from the side. His heart ward up as he watched her.

"Yes, Brother. Thank you. Thank you for everything

For the first ti in a long ti... they were finally okay.
