"So this is pity? You're doing a favor?"
"This is pragmatism. I want to be good at sothing that matters. Harvey won't teach . You can."

I kept my expression neutral and let him look.
Let him see honesty. It's what he doesn't get from anyone else.
Finally, he leaned back in his chair.
