Once the Cooter Clan ca to an agreent with the Mystic Humans that benefited both sides, with Brunta Brimgan serving as a witness, they quickly began to form teams to proceed with their investigation.

"I’ll pray to the Cooter Ancestor to bless fortune upon you." Inin expressed solemnly and patted Torq, "Try your best to survive out there, Boiboi."

"Unfortunately, I won’t be able to protect you."

"Why?" Torq asked after a mont’s hesitation, "Won’t you be glad if I die?"

"That is indeed my stance," Inin nodded, "However, when our Deity rushed into the cabin two days ago with the intent to kill you, and didn’t proceed with the task, I changed my mind."

"For so reason, my Deity decided to spare you." Inin smiled and patted Torq on the back, "And I intend to honour his wishes. So, survive, Boiboi."

"Thank you," Torq expressed honestly, "Thank you for being truthful towards ."

"I hope you survive too." He continued, "I’ll be sure to host you a feast once we make it back safely to our Clan."

"The last ti I heard those words, they ended up being parting words." Inin shook his head, "I’m not expecting anything."

"If you manage to survive, that’s all the feast I ever need."

Seeing Inin walk away and report to a team he had been brief about, Torq bowed once out of respect, ’He is probably the one closest to a friend I have in this world. I can only hope he survives...’

’Who am I kidding?’ Torq massaged his forehead, recalling the furball’s mories, ’The chances of survival are next to zero. I’m better off focusing only on myself.’

"Boiboi!" Hearing his na getting called, Torq rushed towards the caller, a young youth seemingly in his late twenties. His actual age was older, his youthful appearance maintained only thanks to his higher Grade of cultivation.

He was nad Fanfan, and had Silver Grade strength with a 6-Life Stage cultivation. He was in charge of a team consisting of nine Iron Grade Mobility Experts, and one Iron Grade Maintenance Crew.

Torq was the Maintenance Crew part of this team. It was a small team ant for quick recon between the investigative teams and the Battleships where the command centre was posted.

Fanfan was their sole battle strength, while the rest of the crew only had the task of rowing their boat without rest at the maximum speed possible.

"You’re Boiboi?" Fanfan’s expression added a scowl upon seeing Torq. He uttered a curse under his breath and threw a vial, "It has a blueprint regarding the Boat that needs to be built."

"You have a day to finish construction while the rest of us finalise a plan of action." He spoke curtly, dropped a crate and walked off with the nine Mobility Experts under him, "Get to work now."

"Yes," Torq nodded and opened the crate, smiling upon seeing it filled with dicines, ’Consuming so many of them without rest is bound to disrupt my gut’s function.’

Followed by a mild groan, he trailed after a group of Cooter Clansn who quickly finished erecting a cloud platform on the water surface. It was ant for those like Boiboi who were tasked with building boats.

Inin too was part of the group, only that he was responsible for building a larger boat for a larger team. It was for an investigative team which will run headfirst into Narlakks, and had to be considerably reinforced.

He had a team ready to assist him.

Since Torq only had to build a small boat whose only function was to shuttle back and forth with relative safety, the building task was left to him alone.

He quickly approached a corner and downed the Information Slip, feeling a blueprint appear in his mind space. The mind space was pretty much like an intangible space accessible to the cultivator where their mory fragnts were stored.

With the aid of certain techniques, these fragnts could be stimulated and recalled. Forces with such techniques had a perfect mory, since they could pull over any fragnt they wanted to recall the respective mory.

Primary Nature–Gentle Coral Dominance!

Once the blueprint appeared in his mind space, Torq focused on the ntal picture and began systematically constructing the boat. It wasn’t an intuitive process, since everything necessary was present in the Information Slip, in extre detail.

As long as he blindly follows the instructions, the result would turn out perfect.

"Hello, peeper." Ca a voice from behind him once he began building his boat.

’What now?’ Torq groaned subtly and turned around, noticing a Mystic Human girl co into view, ’She’s the one who journeyed with us alongside her father.’

From the border, the father and daughter Mystic Human duo accompanied the five Battleships till Prata City, where the chaos unfolded.

Even though the situation seed to have passed on, thanks to Yoribu’s efforts in placating the Cooter Clansn, there was still tension amidst the group.

In such a situation, the girl approaching a Cooter Clansman, much less the detested Boiboi, only beca a recipe for further conflict, ’Why ? There are so many here.’

For a mont, Torq scanned his surroundings, picturing the fact that he was positioned at a corner. Every step of the path necessary to reach his spot was currently occupied by the teams busy with building their respective boats.

’She had to have waddled through the crowd, which cannot be a coincidence.’ He thought and looked at the girl who seed to be eyeing him with curiosity, ’Maybe she fell victim to my appearance. Even while bald, I am damn handso, after all.’

"Peeper?" He focused on the term she had used to address him, "What do you an by that?"

"You were peeping on my Chief’s actions from afar, right?" The girl expressed, "I saw you using a long tube of water. Your actions made it seem like you were watching my Chief interacting with your Raid Leader."

"So, you’re the peeper!" She pointed at his face, his nose specifically.

’Not like I was trying to hide my actions or anything. Many others would have obviously seen do it too.’ He didn’t care about the opinion of others and wasn’t entirely concerned. It was annoying to see the girl approach him exclusively, but since it had already happened, he intended to take advantage of the encounter.

"You can call Boiboi." Torq introduced himself, "And how should I address you?"

"Tarah," The girl smiled and extended her hand for a shake. Then, she peered over to stare at the boat being constructed, "Can I watch it?"

"No," Torq shook his head, "I’m afraid I cannot take the risk of leaking our techniques to outsiders."

His eyes subtly darted to the side, acting sneaky. As if she had caught wind of his intent, Tarah let out a mild chuckle, "I’ll pay you, of course."

"Then," Torq grinned, "Welco to my boat building tour."

He intended to extort the shit out of her.
