Prata City!

A Free Human in charge of cleaning one of the shops in the marketplace had just finished her work. Closing up shop, she waved her hand towards the Pranic Beast that manned the shop, watching it head deeper into the empty lands at the city centre.

"Another fruitful day of business," En route to her ho, the Free Human stared up at the sky, intending to observe the floating planets, sothing she did daily, "Now, has my favourite planet appeared..."

She squinted, noticing the sky wasn’t as clear as usual. It seed to be covered by dots, dots that grew bigger over ti, dots that grew closer, dots that spelled her doom.

It was the first ti she had witnessed such a scene. However, as if borne by instinct, or intelligence, or maybe a mix of both, the Free Human woman gathered every ounce of Prana in her throat and shrilled at a capacity far exceeding her vocal strength, "ENEMY!"

"IN THE SKY!"

Reddish hue blasted into the sky as a series of lasers, targeting the incoming spikes. Upon successful contact, the spikes were sent flying with a hint of fire burning them up. But the spikes littered the sky, too nurous for the stationed defensive ans to eradicate on ti.

"HURRY!" There were a series of Spirit Eater appearances that quickly flashed across Prata City and took up spots like the spokes of a clock. The Mystic Humans had taken action.

Simultaneously, they erected large, Tatham pillars that shone and radiated intense violet, which spread in the shape of a do to cover Prata City.

Swoosh! Bang! Boom! Ka-Boom!

The spikes rained down from the skies, with very few of them getting intercepted. The remainder slamd into the violet do and seed to pause. However, there was no free space on the do after a couple seconds, literally covered by the raining spikes.

Crackle!

Their sheer number overpowered the do and breached into Prata City.

One of the spikes landed next to a house. It spanned a length of three tres, almost a half-a-tre in diater.

Sprawled nearby was a Free Human, scared by the spike slamming into the street like that. "W-What is this?"

He didn’t have to wait long for an answer, as the spike transford into a two-tre-tall human with a mandible peeking out from his lower jaw. A spike protruded out of his palms as he stretched forth, elongated his arm like a ribbon and pierced through the Free Human.

It was a Stitched Human.

"Grah!" The Free Human man’s lungs had been pierced. It seed like he was about to die when strangely, a mysterious power welled through him and fundantally changed him.

Suddenly, he noticed his heart and Spirit Container had fused into a singular whole, a characteristic of Mystic Humans. He was able to treat his body as a Spirit Weapon, another characteristic of Mystic Humans.

But unlike Mystic Humans, he noticed he was able to not only morph his body’s form, but also secrete a certain substance capable of lting through bones easily. "HAHAHA!"

"H-Husband?" The Free Human man’s wife called out in fear, "W-What is happening to you?"

"Hmm?" The man eyed the woman and turned his face to resemble rubber and pulled his lips as widely as possible, "Prey from Sumatra..."

Cranking his speed using psychokinesis, he thrust his fist through the woman’s chest and influenced the latter. A few seconds later, the woman too began to behave no differently to him, having the sa set of powers, and an innate disdain towards the natives of Sumatra.

Like a plague, they infected the Free Humans and turned them into Stitched Humans.

Swoosh!

A fist flew towards a Stitched Human man, intending to pin him down first. However, upon getting close, the fist wobbled in its flight path and collapsed imdiately after.

"I can’t control my Spirit Weapon?" The Mystic Human controlling the fist shrilled in shock when two Stitched Humans appeared behind her and plunged spikes into her back.

The spikes secreted a corrosive substance especially effective against bones and muscles, allowing them to pierce through the Mystic Human’s back, albeit with lots of resistance.

Bam!

Cranking psychokinesis through her arm, the Mystic Human twirled around once and blasted the two Stitched Humans to pieces. "Urgh!"

She turned to stare at the two spikes lodged in her back and pulled them out, stunned to feel the wounds weren’t closing up. The skin at the wounded location seed to have permanently been morphed, unable to close the gap any longer. "W-What is happening?"

She beca tense upon seeing more and more Stitched Humans surrounding her, "G-Get away!"

"Die, Sumatra Prey!" The Stitched Humans shouted and lunged at her, only for their bodies to be flattened into the ground as a thick pillar of reddish hue descended from the sky.

It was a circular platform that was hovering a hundred tres into the sky, gathering Prana before blasting a reddish pillar onto the Stitched Humans.

The Mystic Human woman stared at the person operating the crimson platform and exclaid in joy, "Biljro!"

"Don’t allow them to touch you." He said and pointed at a wound on his arm, "They seem capable of permanently disfiguring us. Well, it’s not permanent as long as we raise our resistance to their powers. However, the attainnt curve is extrely steep."

"The solution at the mont is to avoid damage. Or," He rushed to stand beside the Mystic Human woman and continued, "The ideal scenario is to sever the body part imdiately upon contact. This way, we can regenerate a new body part in place, one that’s not affected by their ability."

"And don’t use Spirit Weapons," He warned in concern and pointed at the circular platform he was maintaining in the sky, "That’s not working either."

Even though the platform was unleashing its reddish pillars, it was steadily growing unsteady as more and more Stitched Humans gathered at the location. And soon, it collapsed, no longer able to be maintained as a Spirit Weapon.

"Use physical attacks only." Saying so, Biljro covered himself in Tratham armor that fully covered his being, without leaving any gaps. Appearing in his hand was a large, Tratham hamr, which he swung against the enemies, mowing through them in large numbers.

’Not only are a large number of spikes landing from the sky. They also seem capable of turning Free Humans into their kind upon touch.’ He glared at the enemies that were steadily increasing in number, ’And worst of all, I’m burning through my Tratham reserves rapidly.’

As the Tratham hamr pumlled through the Stitched Humans, their blood spilled onto it and began to lt through its structure. Once lted, the Tratham turned into useless sludge, no longer retaining its existing properties.

"I’ll pave a way." Biljro shouted, "Alert as many Mystic Humans as possible about the abilities of our enemies."

"Quick!" He shouted, "Before they sustain irreparable damages!"

"Everyone!" The Mystic Human hurriedly relayed the information. "Be careful!"

"I see," Standing at a corner of the city, before a group of Mystic Humans was Yoribu, "Good work, Biljro."

She huffed once and caused an armour of ivory to surround her. Condensing a hamr from the sa material, she addressed the Mystic Humans behind her, "Maintain formation and slaughter through them."

And then, her figure vanished, resulting in the Stitched Humans forming an entire line’s worth getting cleanly vaporised as sothing rapidly bulldozed through them in a straight path.

Arriving at an open enough spot between a crowd of Stitched Humans, Yoribu began to spin while steadily ballooning the size of her hamr, producing a blood tornado.

Bang!

The blood tornado stopped all of a sudden, as Yoribu’s rapid spinning had been impeded.

Crackle!

Cracks coursed through the ivory hamr as Yorbibu stared at the man that had appeared before her, in shock, "Raefrag?"

"You are strong, Yoribu. As expected of the Varahan Empress." The Depraved Human Raefrag chuckled and exerted more strength, shattering the hamr as he eyed the other party in pity, "Unfortunately, your strength made you my focus."

"Your death won’t be pretty."

"Oh yeah?" Yoribu snorted and condensed another hamr, "Try then."

"You’re clearly not the Raefrag I know. However, any enemy of the Mystic Humans only has one fate to dread." An aurora began to steadily form overhead as suddenly, a pervasive hunger spread across the region, making every existence feel like a slab of at placed on the cutting board.

...

Giant Stitched Humans, each reaching a height of 50 tres, rushed into the Battleships and were t with a variety of attacks. While the giant Stitched Humans targeted the Battleships openly, the two-tre-tall Stitched Humans sneaked onto the deck and barged into the cabins.

After a fierce fight, they killed the Cooter Clansn blocking their path and rushed deeper into the cabin.

"Hmm?" A Stitched Human arrived at a halt upon sensing sothing was amiss, ’Why is the visibility here so low?’

The air had a strange, ivory filter to it, not to ntion a slightly unusual scent. While he was thinking as such, the ivory substance in the air suddenly contracted to form a sphere the size of a human head.

It was rapidly revolving streams within itself. And in the process of its shrinkage, it had basically compressed the Stitched Human into a flesh sphere. It was the Inertial Wave.

Now, the flesh sphere was stored within the Inertial Wave, still getting compressed as the inertial state of the Inertial Wave was that of a perfect sphere.

"Okay, it works." Resounded Torq’s voice as the sphere dispersed into mist and filled the space once again, waiting for another Stitched Human to take the bait.
