"Mother, it’s good to see you again." Torq spoke happily.

"Don’t talk to ," MyuraBuntara was curt, expressing with a tone of disappointnt as she turned around and walked away from the house.

"Mother!" Ca a shout from the house as AuraBuntara rushed out in a hurry.

"Are you...leaving?" AuraBuntara teared up, "Won’t you...won’t you even acknowledge my existence now?"

"You’re alive and well," MyuraBuntara snorted, "Isn’t that enough?"

Then, without uttering another word, she took her leave, stopping once she had reached the flight of stairs to shout at Torq, "Are you coming or not?"

"Brother," AuraBuntara held the sleeve of Torq’s robe, " Why is mother behaving distant to us?"

"She’s angry at ," Torq said, "I think she didn’t want to participate in the expedition."

"Anyway, don’t worry too much and keep training, alright?" Torq patted her head and took his leave, "We’ll all return in two years."

"Yes," AuraBuntara nodded and waited at the entrance, muttering softly once her brother and mother were out of sight, "Please return safe."

Racing down the flight of stairs, Torq arrived next to a MyuraBuntara who was rapidly descending through the stairs, "Wait, mother!"

"You shouldn’t have joined the expedition!" MyuraBuntara glared his way, "Did you lose your mind?"

"Then, why did you join, mother?" Torq asked.

"Soone has to take the lead," MyuraBuntara let out a mild sigh, "We need information about the abilities possessed by our enemies. And soone has to make the sacrifice to collect that information."

"I joined, so that you didn’t have to." MyuraBuntara raised her voice as tears welled up in her eyes, "Why? You idiot! Why did you take part in it too?"

"Soone has to pay the way forward." Torq expressed resolutely, "And I absolutely want to continue growing up with my mother."

"My son..." Her face was filled with pain as she extended her hand forward and patted Torq’s cheeks, "How you’ve already grown into a fine young man."

She embraced her sense of care for him for a few seconds, and then hurried him down the flight of stairs, and to a railway station deep underground.

This station seed to have been constructed solely for specified raids, having an expansive, secluded network of tracks. There was even a track being laid down here, which was scheduled to connect to the Brimgan Empire.

"I hope you’ve sent your luggage to the logistics team earlier." MyuraBuntara asked once she and Torq boarded the railway.

’None contacted regarding it.’ Torq was about to shake his head, but then, he recalled the gift given to him by the Celestial Boar. ’I can store all my luggage within it. That’s why no team has been sent to collect my luggage.’

"Everything’s done," He smiled in response as the railway began its journey.

Eight hours later, there was a mild bump along the journey, upon which Torq noticed MyuraBuntara inhaling a deep breath in response, ’We have entered the Varahan Enclave then.’

’To think they’ve also managed to build a railway line through this chicken’s corridor is impressive!’ This made transport extrely convenient, as they didn’t have to worry about entering the Sandy-Grey Void by mistake.

Once the railway entered the Varahan Enclave, it sped up. The railway lines here were more systematic, able to go all out, for they didn’t have to worry about sneak attacks from the Varahan Empire.

Ten more hours later, the railway arrived at a stop within a station situated a re four kilotres from the border.

"Follow ," MyuraBuntara said curtly, got up, and alighted from the railway. Imdiately in response, Torq felt multiple presences lock onto him.

And instinctively, through his sense of hunger, he felt the strength of the people around him, ’Damn! They’re all significantly strong!’

The best of the best from the Wean Clan had been gathered for the expedition.

There was a flight of stairs resembling an escalator, built using the sa gravity chanism engaged within the railway tunnels. He stood upon one such step and watched it move up in awe, ’The level of developnt here is significantly superior to the rest of Sumatra.’

’Even the walled residence in the Cooter Clan where the Settlent Leader and other higherups live can barely compare to this level of sophistication.’ He thought and accompanied his mother in silence.

He wanted to make small talk, but from the mont they boarded the railway, the riled up presence of the people on board put him on edge. Everyone was on an edge, since this was the first ti they were leaving their Continent and entering a foreign Continent for the purpose of war.

Upon seeing that they were all reacting to the slightest sounds, Torq remained shut, unwilling to trigger them into action. His mother too was in the sa state, extrely nervous and on edge.

Hence, he maintained silence and watched the stairs move up and eventually reach the ground.

There was a small arch which led into the world outside. Upon walking out, a vibrant city ca into view, filled with all sorts of luminescent substances that kept the place bright and lively.

However, making a deathly contrast was the curtain of night situated four kilotres away, serving as a wall of infiniteness that extended across Sumatra’s border.

That was the Sandy-Grey Void!

Instinctively, he wanted to avoid approaching the curtain of night. However, he knew very well they were marching into it first.

KURRALALA!

There was a reverberating sound of thunder, alerting everyone into action. Instinctively, Torq raised his arm upward, and turned around, intending to make a cutting action in the direction of the sound.

And then, he was stunned.

For, in the centre of the city, stood the source of the roar. A behemoth reaching a height of 1.6 kilotres stood grandly, with absolute level of imposing grandeur, with its trunk poised high up. It was a mammoth, with the entirety of its body made using ivory.

Its tusks shone with a threatening glint, and instinctively caused Torq’s skeletal system to react. He recognised the other party with a glance, for this was the biggest creature that could be naturally born on Sumatra.

Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beast–Empyrean Tusk!

It was the Mammoth Clan’s Deity. Of course, a glance at it, and Torq knew the truth of the other party, ’It’s the Ancestor’s Tangible Nature.’

The Celestial Boar was capable of turning any creature it consus into a Tangible Nature and elevate it through the Life Stage. Of course, any existence that reached the 10-Life Stage can attempt to Transcend.

The Celestial Boar had created the ans through which it can convert such Tangible Natures into Treasures instead. Iron and Silver Grade Tangible Natures turn into Minor Treasures, while those above beco a Major Treasure instead.

Tangible Nature Major Treasure–Empyrean Tusk!

When the Celestial Boar annihilated the Mammoth Clan, this was his spoil of war. And now, the Tangible Nature Major Treasure of Empyrean Tusk was being used as a mount, to wage war with.

The Empyrean Tusk stood in the centre of the city, with countless ropes strung across its body using a myriad variety of pulley systems. Steadily, followed by the grunts of Wean Clansn pulling the ropes, goods were being loaded into the mouth of the Empyrean Tusk.

And within the mouth were Wean Clansn moving the goods into its organs.

Each organ of the Empyrean Tusk is a bio, with space significantly compressed within, allowing the Empyrean Tusks to carry a mass of resources significantly dwarfing its body’s volu.

Only such a sheer amount of resources could afford to sustain the consumption needs of such a massive creature.

The Empyrean Tusk had trumpeted once to alert the Wean Clan that the majority of the goods had been finished. It was a signal prompting them to begin boarding next.

"Head there," MyuraBuntara pointed Torq towards one of the houses nearby, "That’s the squad you’ve been assigned to."

"Survive," She gave him a quick hug and rushed away, intending to complete the rest of her boarding procedures.

Torq approached the two-storey building, which spanned a length of forty tres and a breadth of 20 tres, serving as the eting location for his squad, the na of which was inscribed on the plaque.

[Potential Squad!]

While wondering what the na implied, Torq entered the building, imdiately seeing a variety of unrefined presences lock onto him. Upon seeing the source of these presences, Torq understood what his squad’s na ant, ’We consist of the younger generation that show a promise for survival in this expedition.’

"Welco!" Approached a man who eyed Torq, "You must be Garabuntara."

"Yes," Torq nodded.

"Take a seat." The man pointed at one of the empty seats in the open house, "I’ll begin orientation shortly."

As Torq took his seat, his eyes darted to the people nearby, ’I cannot recognise any of them. Though, judging by their stares, it seems a few of them know who I am.’

"A few more should be arriving soon. And then, we’ll start." Right as the man said, a few more youths entered the squad. Upon seeing one of them, Torq was stunned, ’NelTara?’

"Wow, you’re here too." NelTara skipped towards him in excitent upon spotting him, "Soone’s being brave, huh?"
