Chapter 1016: Sera’s Duality
“Co out!” Terios summoned six familiars. Each familiar had a similar strength, but the two of them felt much more powerful than the others.
On the other hand, Noelle summoned War Horseman, Duke Murmur, and Thanatos.
Seeing the situation, Selena also summoned her familiars. “Brunhild, Raphael, Asmodeus. Help her.”
“Heh. Now that half of your familiars have to focus on them, you are nothing more than a weak woman, Saintess.” Eyewood glared at Sera. He also summoned his six familiars. Even though he wasn’t as strong as Terios, he was still a master level summoner.
With most of her strong familiars gone, Eyewood still had the chance against her.
“If that’s the case, we will see whether you have the ability to defeat or not.” Sera raised her wand. Instead of focusing on herself, Sera actually boosted everyone’s ability with her Synchronization, further weakening herself.
“Attack her!” Eyewood shouted, ordering all familiars to focus on Sera.
The angel, Dane, raised his hand and summoned multiple golden chains out of thin air. Eyewood familiars tried to avoid them, but as expected, two of them got captured while the other four tried to slip past them.
The fallen angel, Lavi, smacked one of them toward the chain so that it would get captured before flying to another one to stop it with her dark spear.
“I am the light.” Sera unleashed her ena, which was dyed in white.
“I am the darkness.” Janus raised his scepter and released his ena that turned black.
Then, both of them pointed their weapons forward and used the link from the synchronization to transfer their power to Lavi and Dane simultaneously.
“Go!” Sera shouted.
“!!!” Both Lavi and Dane knew what to do. It was sothing that was not possible before.
Lavi actually grabbed Dane’s chains. The chain that usually burned evil, for so reason, didn’t harm her. “Corrosion of Darkness.”
“Divine Punishnt.” Dane also conjured more power into his chain.
“Arrggghhhh!” All of a sudden, several familiars scread in pain as the chains burned them. The dark energy flowed on the chain and reached them, gradually turning them black as though they had been infected by the black cell.
“!!!” Eyewood was dumbfounded. What they were using was the power of evil and good. Those two shouldn’t have been together, yet these two powers were actually working in harmony.
This was what Janus was capable of. He was the duality. Sera made him his lifebound familiar so that she also received that duality.
Normally, it would have been Janus helping both of them, but with Sera helping him maintain the one side, he could balance it by inputting the other side.
This way, they created a harmony between two opposite sides.
Even Asmodeus and Raphael were smiling wryly.
“To think that good can be used that way…” Raphael squinted his eyes.
“If everyone does good, they won’t know what’s evil. That’s why good and evil always coexist since the beginning of ti.” Asmodeus harrumphed. “But thanks to that guy, it looks like this coexistence can turn into a peaceful harmony…”
“Don’t mind them. Hurry up and kill her!” Eyewood panicked. He had never seen a power like this before.
Still, as shocking as it was, this power could be beaten by simply killing the summoner.
The chains managed to stop the three of them while Lavi still held back one of them. In other words, two familiars were still coming toward Sera.
Now that Sera had been too busy amplifying the power of her familiar, there was no way she could stop Eyewood’s familiars.
The two familiars reached her right after her power diminished and grasped for her neck.
Sera activated her artifact, creating a barrier to protect herself.
Both familiars were stunned because of the durability of this barrier.
The two familiars didn’t like the situation and unleashed their full power.
Seeing the barrier cracked, Raphael couldn’t help but turn around. He raised his hand as though he was going to help her, but his opponent struck him, forcing Raphael to block this attack instead.
“You’re not going anywhere.”
“There’s no need to worry. Our summoner might be a bit gullible, but she’s by no ans weak.” Asmodeus smirked.
Sera hit the ground with the back of her wand. “Divine Gate!”
Janus moved toward that gate and inserted the key. “I shall open the Gate of War and close it once peace has been restored. Gate of War, Open!”
The gate suddenly opened by itself. Inside the gate was a red-colored vortex that released its energy from within.
This energy moved toward Sera and all other familiars.
Sera could feel the boost of strength surging in her body. She waved her hand and actually restored the crack in the barrier.
This was the Gate of War. The reason she was the one calling for this gate while Janus opened it was so that the gate would be linked to her, aning the energy that flowed would also be spread by using her Synchronization.
anwhile, Janus opened it because he was much more qualified than her, aning the boost coming from this Gate of War was higher than if she opened it herself.
The combination of Janus and Sera had completely changed the battlefield. Before, Sera could only help with her Synchronization, but after three months of separation, she was able to support everyone in any way they wanted. A path that no one but Sera could walk on.
With these two unable to penetrate the barrier, Sera raised her right hand while Janus lowered his left hand.
Coming from her right hand was a powerful darkness as she swirled it downward. At the sa ti, Janus’ left hand was covered in light as it flowed upward.
The light and dark spun like a single entity and blasted the two familiars with its powerful energy, launching them to the opposite side of the room.
“Yin Yang Blast. Wait. Did I make the Yin Yang correctly? It’s like this, right?” Sera tilted her head.
Janus shook his head calmly. “According to Ying Zhen, there should be a dot of opposite colors on each side, like the eye of a fish. I believe we can use it as an additional blast by taking advantage of the opposite nature.”
“Oh!” Sera was amused, very different from Eyewood, who was completely speechless that he was easily pushed back by a re saintess, who had the weakest fighting prowess among them.
