Chapter 1021: Nathan vs Iskar
“!!!” Iskar was quite surprised that Nathan’s familiars were actually strong enough to fight his familiars.
It was clear that there was a gap between their ena, but Fenrir, Nidhogg, and Jinwu looked like they had an elental advantage that could ignore that gap.
anwhile, Peng, Mae, and Orochi would still have a hard ti against their respective opponents.
Nevertheless, there was still Qilin and Anubis, who had yet to make their move.
Qilin could use his power to neutralize the opponent’s attack, and Anubis was able to heal everyone and protect them from all kinds of curses, illnesses, or other related stuff.
Since their familiars had begun their fight, Iskar and Nathan were staring at each other.
Nathan was the first one to make his move. He took out the sniper rifle and fired a massive beam.
Iskar snapped his finger as black hands erged from the ground and touched the beam, causing it to disperse.
“!!!” Nathan raised his eyebrows. ‘Disperse? No. It grew extrely weak to the point where it couldn’t maintain its form anymore. The Demon Lord seems to have curse ability, so I guess he is his lifebound familiar.
‘The humanoid fly has parasites or maybe an illness… The specter is like a ghost that wields the power of shadow, while the arachne has the web and poison. The ancient troll looks like a martial artist, but that drum can hurt Mae… I don’t even understand his power.
‘Last but not least, the orc shaman seems to have an ability related to the soul. I guess this is his strength.
‘All his familiars have such devious elents…’ Nathan squinted his eyes.
Nevertheless, he still had the chance of winning, even if he was weaker. Nathan charged forward as Anubis boosted him with the Synchronization.
anwhile, Qilin had activated his hexagram to assist not only Nathan but also others.
“Hmph! Lowly trash.” Iskar lifted up his finger. A surge of black waves erged from the ground like a raging wave, trying to swallow him.
“I will give you a line better than that. Don’t know the imnsity of heaven and earth.” Nathan grinned as he also snapped his fingers, creating a green-colored shock wave.
When this shock wave clashed with the raging dark wave, the dark wave suddenly crumbled and returned to the surface.
“What?” Iskar was startled, not knowing why his wave even disappeared. In fact, he didn’t know Nathan’s elent. ‘What did he do to erase that power? That wolf looks like a physical type. That dragon and bird have fire elents, while that huge whale has water and wind elents…
‘How about that fox? She’s weird… Maybe like an illusion? The serpent has water and poison… How about the two that hide on the back? That weird dragon-looking horse doesn’t seem to have this power, while the black dog has a healing ability… None of them can explain how he’s able to erase my power…’
Iskar was baffled. It wouldn’t be just him. If they didn’t know the true nature of Nathan’s elent, it was normal for them to get confused. After all, it was the norm that a person could only have an elent by forming a lifebound contract.
Nathan’s ti elent, on the other hand, wasn’t reflected on the familiars. This was actually the reason for him not to attack Nathan right away. He wanted to use his familiars to assess his opponent’s power.
Nathan took this opportunity to release two bullets and split them into 256, splitting what he used to have one more ti.
Each bullet was also much more robust than the previous one. With this, even Iskar would have a hard ti stopping it.
Iskar clapped his hands, the sound wave he produced black in color. It traveled toward the bullets and dispersed them upon impact.
If these were normal bullets, they would definitely disappear easily.
However, Nathan activated the Save Magic Circle, which made the bullets return to several seconds in the past.
In other words, the bullets re-manifested and fell on Iskar.
“What?” Iskar panicked, not understanding how the bullet regained its form back. Besides, he wasn’t in a position to destroy these bullets.
As a result, Iskar jumped away, but the bullets curved, chasing him.
“Tsk!” Iskar extended his hand. “Hand of Darkness.”
His hand ford an even bigger hand made of darkness. The mont the bullets touched these hands, the ena disappeared instead of dispersing, so Nathan couldn’t turn their ti back anymore.
In addition, this hand moved toward Nathan like a snake.
A golden light manifested and ford a shield that stopped this hand. Behind that barrier was an ankh.
Still, even with Anubis’ power, it didn’t look like he would be able to stop it completely.
“Heaven!” Qilin activated his hexagram to borrow the power of heaven to punish this darkness. Thanks to his help, the energy balanced out as all of them neutralized each other.
Then Nathan moved forward while taking out his rifle, firing in rapid succession.
Instead of blocking the attacks coming from the front, Iskar actually stomped the ground. In an instant, the ground withered and beca dry, as if the life within it had dissipated.
This action surprised Nathan because he had secretly sneaked so bullets to the ground, but it looked like Iskar noticed them.
After stopping these bullets, Iskar pushed forward with his right hand.
The black energy started swirling around his arm as if it was about to form a tornado. Noticing this power, Nathan activated the Acceleration magic circle to speed up, reaching Iskar’s position in almost an instant.
He countered Iskar’s palm with his own, releasing the ena that he sped up by using his magic. As a result, his ena and Iskar’s dark energy clashed around Iskar’s arm instead of in between their palms.
To his surprise, it wasn’t enough. Iskar still overwheld his energy, forcing Nathan to blast him with the remaining energy, causing both of them to get pushed back at the sa ti.
‘As expected of an arcane level summoner… I guess I don’t know if I can win against him or not…’ Nathan squinted his eyes.
anwhile, Iskar noticed what he didn’t want to believe. “You… have a ti elent?”
