"..." Nathan’s expression turned grimr. He understood what it ant to sacrifice one’s own body for a curse.
Earlier, Iskar used his blood as a catalyst. The power alone almost doubled. If he sacrificed his own limb, it ant losing that limb for his entire life. The power of that curse would be multiple tis stronger than the previous curse.
At the sa ti, Iskar’s life was still in danger. Nathan’s bullets were still coming for him.
Iskar wasn’t afraid of these bullets. He used his blood to create a barrier. Even if it wasn’t strong, he just had to maintain it until he got away from the bullets. After all, these bullets weren’t controlled directly by Nathan.
Still, these bullets were so strong that they broke his barrier. Iskar cleverly spun his body in a way that he could get away from all of this. Even when so bullets hit his body, he just had to tweak his body to let the bullets hit his arm instead of his body. It was useless anyway, so there was nothing wrong with him sacrificing that arm to protect the body.
anwhile, Nathan would be facing the biggest crisis of his life. If Nathan got hit by the curse, there was no telling what would happen to his body. Even Anubis looked troubled by the curse.
Nathan clicked his tongue and said, "There’s no other choice."
Nathan didn’t have the special elent that could clash with a curse like Nidhogg’s chaos fire or Jinwu’s sun fire.
However, he still had one elent he was used to, and it was sothing that could even freeze the curse.
That was right. Now that the situation had turned dire, there was no need to hide it anymore.
Nathan took out a few magazines and activated the Soul Contract.
The temperature decreased sharply, which startled Iskar.
"Huh?" Iskar didn’t know anything about the ice elent. After all, a normal person could only have one elent. There wasn’t a case like Evelyn among normal people.
But Nathan suddenly halted his steps and waved his hand.
The chilling wind moved according to his will and actually froze the black beam.
"What?!" Iskar dropped his jaw to the ground. What in the world happened? Did Nathan just use an ice elent? But this kind of power wouldn’t be sothing a normal ice elent could release.
In that instant, he realized it was an absolute ice elent. The only problem was that Nathan didn’t have any familiars that had Ti or even the Absolute Ice elents. So, how could he use it? Besides, there was also the ti he suddenly teleported behind him as though he was using a space elent.
The mont he used that absolute ice, Iskar realized Nathan had sothing even more special... sothing that could allow him to have multiple elents. Still, the knowledge about the Innate Ability wasn’t that common, so he couldn’t figure out that power.
"This is unfair. This is unfair. This is unfair! How can you have everything?" Iskar gritted his teeth. Nathan had unique familiars, the power of multiple elents, and even glory in academics. How could a person have it all? It was unfair.
He had done a lot of things to reach this level, but Nathan, who enrolled at the academy just a year ago, managed to achieve all that.
There was no more hesitation in his heart. "Ahhhhh!"
More and more dark energy rushed out of his body. Before, he sacrificed only an arm, but this ti, he sacrificed his leg and left eye. He had lost the sensation in his leg because of Anubis’ attack anyway, so there was no point in keeping it.
His left eye beca blind right after.
"Crush him!" Iskar shouted in frustration, sending forth his curse. The curse didn’t turn into a skull shape anymore. Instead, it was like a skeleton.
It rushed toward Nathan, not caring about anything else.
Anubis and Qilin ca in its way, combining their power to weaken the curse.
However, the skeleton actually punched Anubis’ barrier, shattering it at the sa ti as the hexagram. Then, it skipped on the ground and closed the gap between it and Nathan.
Nathan’s expression turned solemn. He gathered everything he had on this one shot.
Right before the curse arrived, Nathan waved his hand, covering it in a thick layer of ice. The curse fell down like a normal skeleton, but the dark energy that ford it soared.
"Not good. Watch out. It’s going to co at you!" Anubis shouted while rushing to Nathan, thinking about what to do. This was a strength that even a divine beast like him could afford to stop in his current state.
’Tsk. If only I had one million ena, I could stop it.’ Anubis gritted his teeth.
Nathan could see that the curse energy was corroding the ice at such a high speed. At this rate, the curse would free itself and reach him before Anubis or Qilin could arrive.
Nathan’s heart sank. ’Is there sothing I can use?’
Nathan looked around, but there was nothing that could stop the curse. However, an idea ca to his mind.
He had never used this power openly, but this ability might be able to stop the curse of this level. After all, this ability was considered even higher than divinity according to all his divine beasts.
Even though he had to reveal his biggest trump card, it should be fine. Sera and Flora had known about this, and Iskar would die in this place. No one else would know this secret.
Nathan raised his hand and ford a Soul Contract.
"!!!" Iskar widened his eyes. "What’s that?"
’In exchange for 10,000 ena, this contract shall be nad Nathan, and he will be Nathan in this world for three seconds.’
He didn’t know how much ena required, so he just gave a reasonable amount since he couldn’t afford the contract to fail for a certain amount of ena.
Fortunately, the contract was successful. The curse broke free from the ice and moved toward Nathan, only to change its way to the contract.
It hit the contract and corroded it until there was nothing left.
