Chapter 1135: Teams

Nathan had indeed combined several concepts. Originally, he was inspired by the concepts in the novels.

There was a protagonist who could do alchemy outside the pot by using the fla as his pot. There was another protagonist controlling flying knives with his energy. Last but not least, he had seen another support character that had flying turrets around her.

He was inspired by these concepts and turned them into a single system. To achieve it, Nathan first had to learn from the very basics, especially his control.

Selena often carried a massive amount of water by turning her ena into a bowl. By utilizing this concept, he could create a pseudo-telekinesis.

Then, all these parts were just the guns he tried to control purely with the new technique.

To shoot them, he planned to combine it with his Machine Gun Version. In Machine Gun Version, he created five bullets that would gather the ena from his body and form the bullet before shooting them in rapid succession.

With this new gun, he could pour the new bullets into a single barrel and shoot them. The five bullets from the Machine Gun Version would have a physical form, which would be his new gun.

Last but not least, their movents would be similar to the Orbital System. It was Nathan’s defensive skill that created an orbit of ena bullets that would knock down any enemy that entered the orbit.

Instead of the bullets, he planned to move his guns this way.

If he could master all this, he should be able to fight even Evelyn; of course, the latter had to limit her own power to his level.

Still, he was searching for even more absurd firepower because his opponent wouldn’t get hurt just from small attacks. And that would be his current assignnt: complete this new weapon.

“Well, I have grasped the gist of your new weapon. It will definitely take a toll on your mind, though.”

“Don’t worry.” Nathan gave a thumbs-up. “My ntal training has progressed at least three tis more than my physical training.”

“…” Evelyn sighed. “If you think that’s good enough for you, go for it. I know you have the ability to do it. If you have any questions, just ask .”

“I understand.” Nathan nodded. “So, why are you here?”

“Ah!” Evelyn almost forgot her matter. She looked hesitant, but after so consideration, she gave one suggestion.

The next day.

Nathan gathered everyone on the deck. He even asked Kun to take care of the aliens first so that the people on guard duty could gather to discuss sothing important.

They couldn’t help but look at Nathan with a solemn face, as he wasn’t the type of person that gathered them for no reason.

Surprisingly, the one who explained the matter was Evelyn.

“I have reached an agreent with Nathan. I’m thinking about splitting our group into four to search for both the alien and our targets.”

“!!!” The statent shocked them. Evelyn was the first one to object to splitting their group because they didn’t know what kind of danger was hidden on the new continent.

So, she wanted to work together until they had enough information to comfortably search on their own.

Yet, the sa person actually suggested the opposite.

“There are three reasons for my sudden decision. The first one is this sigil.” Evelyn pointed at the back of her palm. “The sigil will allow us to understand what people say on that continent.

“If we can prove that the effect is real, there’s no reason for us to travel together anymore. We plan to stick together so that we can help translate what other parties say to us.

“With the sigil, there’s no need to worry about it anymore. The second is our targets. Since we will also include the alien in our target this ti, we won’t have enough ti to find out its location if we are traveling together.

“We didn’t even know that there was an intelligent alien on our continent before this, so we will utilize the sigil to find it, and splitting up will make our search more effective.

“Last but not least, the number of people. The first ti I rejected this idea, I thought about the danger.

“But after hearing what kind of power the summoners on the continent have, it’s clear that traveling in a large group will be eye-catching. Besides, they must be facing a famine right now, unless they have soone like Nathan, Vivian, and lissa, who solved the famine due to the volcanic eruption.

“Hence, we will divide our groups into four again. It might be inconvenient, but we have this artifact.” Evelyn pointed at the ring they got from the Divine Hand. It was a sound transmission artifact made by Wood Eye. Thanks to this artifact, they should be able to communicate with others.

There was also a chance that the continent didn’t have a teleportation circle due to how they utilized the summoning power. Hence, it would take too much ti just to go to one place.

Most of them didn’t have any objections. The three reasons were acceptable. Still, lissa couldn’t help but ask, “Senior. How are we going to split the group?”

“The first group is Team rcenary, Revon and Christopher. You two will act as rcenaries. Revon has a lot of experience in this, so you should have no problem in gaining access to their rcenary, right?”

“Indeed.” Revon nodded.

“The second group is Team rchant, Neyeid and Sonia. Sonia can aid Neyeid and utilize the rchant system to find out more information.”

“No problem. Looking forward to working with you.” Neyeid nodded and winked at Sonia. The latter only nodded as though she didn’t care who her partner was.

“The third group is Team Academic. lissa, Bella, and Vivian will have to work together and infiltrate the smart people group. They must be highly regarded.

“I have to work with her?” lissa and Vivian pointed at each other, protesting at the sa ti. Bella only smiled wryly as if she had accepted her fate in taking care of these two wild girls.

“Yes, that’s reasonable. The last will be Team Captain, which is and Nathan. Looks like we don’t have a complaint. We’ll proceed this way.”

“Wait. I have a complaint!” lissa and Vivian raised their hands, but Nathan was looking at them as if he were looking at his Divine Beasts, who loved to bicker at each other.
