Chapter 1245: Teacher vs Student
Nathan, Vivian, lissa, and Bella ended up standing on the field. Because they were curious about Nathan’s new strength, they ended up tagging along.
Nathan took a deep breath.
Fenrir’s pistol had transford back into the fragnt of summoning as Nathan spread out the summoning link even further.
It made a long coat, a pair of greaves, a vest, and a pair of leg guards. All of them had Fenrir’s white fur on them as a coating.
“Hmm. This should be enough.” Nathan muttered while taking a look at his arms.
“It’s up to you how you’re going to form it, but it looks like it’s able to protect your torso, arms, legs, and your back. Not going to protect your head? Maybe like a helt or sothing?”
“Well, having a wolf-shaped helt might look cool, like those hunters. However, I’m a control-type fighter. I don’t want my field of vision to be obstructed by anything.”
“Fair enough.”
“So, that’s your crystal armor.” Bella examined Nathan up and down. “I heard Fenrir’s hide is tough, so why not turn it into a full body armor?”
“No, it’s fine right now. I move a lot during the fight and am quite flexible, so this much armor is more than enough. I don’t want it to hinder my movent.” Nathan shook his head.
“Don’t you want to try your new power?” lissa grinned.
He would be lying if he said he didn’t want to. The greaves had claws on the fingertips, which allowed Fenrir’s claw attack. In addition, he was borrowing Fenrir’s Absolute Strength and Beast Senses, so he could reach far and wide, depending on how he utilized that power.
Not many attacks could injure him severely with this armor. “You’re going to be my sparring partner, lissa?”
“What? No way. I don’t want to get beaten up. If you want a sparring partner, there’s a perfect person.” lissa smiled while pointing her thumb at Vivian.
“…” Vivian rolled her eyes. She was the one who suggested the sparring, yet she imdiately pushed that burden onto soone else. Still, she wouldn’t say no to a sparring match. “Sure. If you want.”
Vivian moved away. A wooden wand ford in her hand, her back was covered with a long robe, and leather armor covered her upper body, arms, and legs.
Surprisingly, her ears looked like they were about to grow longer like those of an elf, but they stopped growing as though they had failed.
“Tsk.” Evelyn clicked her tongue.
“It doesn’t look like you have reached the crystal fusion stage yet.” Nathan smiled wryly.
“Just a bit more. The ena is a bit lacking, and as long as I master the manuals, I don’t have any problem in reaching that stage.”
“In that case, I will be looking forward to it.” Nathan smiled, thinking of her teacher in her elven form.
Nevertheless, this was probably the first ti they had fought on an equal footing.
Nathan was soone she could have crushed at any mont almost two years ago. Yet, in just a short period, he had beco an arcane level summoner. It was simply too amazing.
With this kind of power, even Vivian wouldn’t be able to defeat him so easily. Still, Evelyn was already close to the next level, so she didn’t plan to lose.
“To think that in just a short 2 years, you would have beco this amazing.” Vivian raised her head, recalling the ti they first t.
“It must be thanks to your guidance.” Nathan smiled.
“As if. You never needed anything from . All I did was give you simple guidance and the herbs.”
That was right. The reason Nathan could succeed was the novels. Nathan had to admit that, thanks to all kinds of (bullshit) explanations from all kinds of authors, one of them often clicked with the concept he was trying to do.
As a result, the ti required to master that technique decreased significantly.
Nathan was able to shift this amount of ti to other things, such as inventions, cores, and his own personal growth.
Most of the ti, the people would have a hard ti mastering one technique, which slowed down their growth. Because Nathan didn’t have any difficulty, he could reach this level so fast.
The sa applied to Selena. Thanks to her talent in macro control, she shifted a lot of ti from that training to other things, allowing her to be one of the few people that could keep up with Nathan.
Nathan took a deep breath before saying, “In that case, please witness my growth. You might regret it if you underestimate .”
“Underestimate you? The last ti I underestimated you was when you tried to run away from Alisha and sohow defeated her.” Vivian chuckled.
“…”
That was the very first ti he had trained under her.
It looked like the sparring match would be harder than he expected.
“Then, let’s go! 3… 2… 1… Start!” Bella winked playfully, casting the illusion of numbers in the air.
The mont it turned to ‘0,’ a magic circle appeared underneath Nathan’s feet.
Then, another magic circle, and another one, creating a three-layer magic circle.
Thanks to Fenrir, Nathan could stomp the ground and destroy it, but Vivian knew this as well, which caused her to summon three layers.
“…” Nathan hurriedly jumped into the sky as vines erged from the ground.
Seeing the vines continue chasing him, Nathan pointed his pistol downward.
Absolute Bullet.
“Bloom!”
All of a sudden, the vines turned into a stem. From its tip, a big red flower blood as a green magic circle ford on top. It contained Fenrir’s Absolute Bullet like an umbrella.
Nathan and Fenrir had applied the sa amount of power that they used to destroy the foot of a mountain.
Yet, the flower actually only got pushed down but still remained intact.
“Seriously?!” Nathan was amused. He never thought his teacher would be this strong.
But this was just the first surprise she showed him. The second one was about to co.
With a wave of her wand, a huge magic circle appeared in the air.
“!!!” Nathan raised his head and saw the magic circle shattered into pieces, and the pieces were rearranged and ford a new circle.
As a result, more than ten magic circles ford in just a second. They spun and ford a sphere, sealing Nathan inside.
‘Ah!’ Nathan almost forgot about this.
“My lifebound familiar is Silvania. Don’t forget that barrier is one of her abilities,” said Vivian while forming another wave of magic circles as if she planned to end this fight in an instant. “It looks like you’re the one underestimating .”
“Forest Wrath.”
