"Is everyone here?" Evelyn looked around.
"Yes." Sonia nodded. "Still, I didn’t expect we would retreat from the empire. Nathan might have overdone it this ti. Maybe I should remain here to maintain the connection?"
"You don’t have to worry about that. I can still get enough information from within the empire." Neyeid waved his hand. "Even though it might be different from the outco he was expecting, he had made enough to ensure it wouldn’t ss with our operation.
"The beggar sect can maintain the information gathering within the empire. Besides, moving to the dynasty will allow to consolidate that network within the dynasty.
"Of course, if you still want to remain in the empire, I can’t say anything, but I think our plan has changed. Isn’t that right, Captain?" Neyeid turned to Evelyn.
Evelyn nodded. "Although I don’t know what he is planning, judging from the developnt alone, it looks like it will be wise for us to focus on the group within the empire.
"Besides, we have narrowed down the list of the spies within the dynasty. Just like the Eleren family, we have to figure out the identity of the spy and handle it in preparation to fight the Death Society.
"And focusing on the dynasty ans tracking down that one group within the dynasty. It should be these five: Sniper, Bell Crusher, Bloody Fiend, Alex Tear, and Soul Devourer.
"If we can ambush them and sohow kill them to lower their number, it will be excellent."
As she expected, fifteen people was too many. If they could lower the number to ten, they still had a chance to win as long as they got so help.
Nathan might want to do this from the beginning. He wanted to lure the Death Society by using the second prince.
What they didn’t know was that it was supposed to happen if not for Frequency. If it were soone else, Nathan would have summoned Evelyn and taken them down.
Once missing several mbers, they could overwhelm the Death Society. Or the remaining mbers might regroup with the mbers in the dynasty to avoid getting overwheld by Nathan and the others.
Nevertheless, the situation had deviated from the original plan, so they could only improvise.
Evelyn raised two fingers. "I haven’t heard anything from Nathan, so I will just state our goals for the ti being. We have been on this continent for 7 months, so we only have five months left. During this ti, I want us to focus on defeating the cults to cut off their reinforcent.
"This will gain their attention, which is related to the second goal. If you can, lure them out and kill them. I will stand by. If you call through the communication ring, I will go to your position as quickly as possible and take them down. However, if the enemy is your target of revenge, I will let you do it while supervising it to ensure they can’t escape. Do you have any questions?"
"No. That sounds good already. What we want is to destroy them, so we are prepared to do anything." Christopher paused for a mont. "Still, the enemy is strong. One of us alone might not be enough to defeat an enemy of the sa level due to the existence of the black weapon.
"That’s why I am useless. Sonia and I might have to focus on becoming crystal armor stage summoners for the ti being. This is the only way for us to have a chance to beat them.
Sonia nodded in agreent. "I don’t have any problems with it. There is one thing I want to ask. It’s not related to the matter, though."
Sonia soon shifted her gaze to Vivian, lissa, and Bella. "What happened to you three?"
Vivian had ssy hair, but lissa and Bella had bright red cheeks as though they had been slapped not long ago.
"Nothing happened." Vivian answered in a strict tone. She made sure that lissa and Bella couldn’t answer her question.
"If you said so." Sonia shrugged.
"Once I stabilize the information network within the dynasty, I should have no problem finding the cult. In fact, I have found several locations I suspect to be cults within the empire. I was waiting for Nathan to return to see how we are going to handle them..." Neyeid smiled. He was proud of himself. The beggar sect definitely suited him a lot.
Revon said, "I should be able to formally beco a world class summoner next month. Maybe we can take it easy for one month. Nathan should be back soon, right?"
"Yes. According to him, he will be back in two to three weeks." Evelyn nodded.
"There you have it." Revon shrugged. "Although I don’t want to diminish your influence, Nathan’s plan is more sophisticated and trickier, Captain. I don’t doubt your ability, but he is thinking about how to deal with the enemy while making sure of our safety. I want my revenge, but at the sa ti, I don’t want it to cost everything I have... All of you here are all I have."
Evelyn waved her hand. "Don’t worry. I understand your sentint. In that case, for the next month, we will consolidate our forces within the dynasty. At the sa ti, we will continue to monitor the empire.
"After what happened, the empire might make its move, so it’s better not to be in the spotlight for the ti being." Evelyn walked away. "In any case, it’s ti to leave. I don’t want to stay here any longer than I need to be."
"I will call the blacksmiths then." Neyeid waved his hand.
Evelyn nodded her head while opening a portal.
Fortunately, they left the empire right away. If not, they would probably encounter the Grand Tutor as he visited the workshop that Neyeid had built before. But this ti, the workshop was abandoned, and the blacksmiths that once worked there couldn’t provide anything useful to find the group’s whereabouts.
