It only took a mont for the left guardian to be captured. The situation was different from when Nathan fought against multiple opponents. At that ti, he wasn’t ambushed this badly, so he could escape by maneuvering around.
But this ti, the situation was completely under the control of the crystal fusion stage summoners. There were also Evelyn, Johnson, and Nathan, who could make a move if necessary.
So, the left guardian couldn’t respond in ti.
"What is going on here?" One summoner stepped forth, wanting an explanation. "Can I get the full picture of the situation?"
The empress stepped forward and politely bowed to him and the other summoners. "Thank you for coming here. As you have seen, there is a mole among us. And that person is the left guardian.
"We have so evidence that connected him to the Death Society. We suspect that he was also the reason we suffered so much damage during the purge."
Another summoner crossed his arms. "Still, the left guardian was soone who had been adopted by the Erwih family from a very young age, right?"
"To answer that question." The emperor was the one answering this ti. "We have managed to use a trick to force a confession out of him. That trick forces the other party to only speak the truth.
"And in that confession, I could only ask one question, which was the na given to him by his parents. And that na is Andreas Excel."
"Excel?!" So of them recognized that na right away.
"Are you saying that the left guardian is related to Spider from the Death Society?"
The others fell silent, realizing the connection. The emperor didn’t seem to be lying. First of all, the trick they used, although unknown, looked very effective.
The emperor asked him a couple of questions. If that trick didn’t affect the left guardian, the latter could simply lie about it.
Yet, instead of lying, the left guardian forcefully shut his mouth to prevent any answer. It was clear that he was going to spout the truth if he didn’t do it.

Still, the summoners noticed two unknown people among them. Johnson was a grand duke, so his face was recognizable by all the people present.
However, this was the first ti they had seen Nathan and Evelyn.
"This is..." One summoner took a look at Nathan and Evelyn. Both of them were crystal fusion stage summoners, so they were incredibly dangerous. At the sa ti, their appearance here raised a lot of questions.
The emperor explained, "I’m sure you have heard about them. They are the people behind the cloud-repelling device that saves millions of people from starving. He is Nathan Reckmoon, and the other is his fiancee, Evelyn Reckmoon."
"Greetings to all of you." Nathan smiled politely while Evelyn nodded gracefully.
"Oh. So, it’s you." They obviously recognized the ones responsible for the cloud-repelling device.
The emperor had been keeping it a secret, so it was quite surprising that they appeared here.
"I will be talking to you personally about it later, but let us focus back on the left guardian." The emperor pointed at the left guardian. "This man is a mole that the Death Society might have planted from the beginning. No, he might have been planted before the Godfather took over the Death Society. Or it might have been that person’s idea when people were still unaware of his identity."
The summoners turned solemn. It wasn’t a simple accusation, but if that was true, it was good to catch the left guardian before more damage could be done.
And with the people of the Death Society sneaking out, it was clear they were planning to do sothing.
"I see."
"In that case, how do you want to handle this?"
The emperor simply replied, "We will have to force out a confession. As for the thod, I will be thinking about it. It doesn’t look like he’s going to talk, so we will have to use a special thod. For now, it’s best to restrain his power."
"Alright." The summoners agreed.
One of them suddenly kicked the left guardian’s spine, and the others broke his legs and arms, making sure he wouldn’t be able to escape.
It was hard to apprehend a summoner because high-level summoners could use strong enough power to break free of any shackles they had.
Normally, they would be chaining them in the most guarded prison and periodically breaking their bodies to prevent them from gathering enough energy to escape.
Hence, they first broke his body and killed his familiars so that the left guardian couldn’t do anything.
"So of us should stay here in case he’s trying sothing funny."
The emperor thought for a mont before nodding his head. "Elder William and Sir Eliott should remain here and take charge of the prisoner. Captain Xena is to mobilize our royal guards to raise the security of the imperial palace.
"Elder Mutt, Elder Elaine. I hope both of you can secure the left guardian’s mansion. I will later mobilize the people to secure any evidence about his relationship if he hides it there. For the ti being, I’m going to make him confess to his cri."

They quickly moved away, leaving only a few people behind.
They dragged the left guardian’s body to the emperor before forcing him to kneel.
