"It looks like the three of you are able to get stronger just fine." Nathan waved his hand, approaching Selena and the others who had finished their own fights.
"Thank you for the guidance, Master." Iris politely bowed to Nathan. "I feel like I grow much faster whenever I’m with you. It must be because your guidance is on point."
"Ahaha." Nathan just laughed it off. There was no way he could say that their growth ca from his luck. "You have talent, Iris. Keep working hard."
"Yes!" Iris nodded vigorously.
Selena and Noelle just nodded to him as they were not surprised by their growth anymore.
They had experienced this sudden spurt multiple tis in the past, so they believed there was sothing Nathan hadn’t told them yet. It might be just his guidance as Iris said, but there was no telling whether Nathan possessed sothing else or not.
After all, that kind of secret might be much more important than his innate ability.
"Anyway, we should clean up the battlefield." Selena pointed to the fortress. "We are going to take care of the cores, so you should focus on the fortress."
"Well, you guys are truly ruthless." Nathan shook his head helplessly. "Did you want to overwork or sothing?"
"I-I’m sorry! It was unintentional." Iris panicked and lowered her head.
"No need to apologize. He’s just ssing with you. His attack is the one causing the most destruction." Selena patted Iris’s head. "Anyway, we should get going. We’ll also set up the camp and deal with any other aliens around the area."
"All right. All right." Nathan waved his hand and teleported to the fortress.
The fortress was quite intact, even though a few hundred years had passed. Many buildings might have been reduced to rubble, but he could see a few important buildings.
Unfortunately, those buildings couldn’t withstand his Space Quake.
There were practically no more buildings that remained intact after the battle.
"Maybe I should have focused on my ti elent in this fight to avoid creating such destruction." Nathan let out a long sigh. "Let’s go, guys!"
"My stomach hurts. So, I’m going back." Fenrir looked away and hurriedly disappeared.
"I’ve used too much poison." Orochi also took his leave.
"You two... You already got your chance to fight the alpha class alien, so the least you could do was help around..." Nathan facepald, but both of them already disappeared.
"Well, I’m quite interested in this place." Qilin looked up. "The balance in this place is quite weird. I don’t know how to explain it. It makes comfortable, but at the sa ti, it feels like there are thousands of ants swarming my feet."
Anubis and Xolotl had the sa motive. "There are so many deaths here. Shouldn’t we use the mory of the Dead to see what’s going on in the past?"
Xolotl pointed to Mae. "Girl, you can recreate the image in my mind, right?"
"Yes," confird Mae.
"Then, I want you to recreate the image in my mind. I should be able to read the entire mory. I want you to project it to the entire city. Is it possible?"
"Well, all of us now already have 10 million ena, so yes. My divinity and power should be more than enough to project the illusion to the entire city."
"Then, we’ll recreate the scene of what happened five hundred years ago."
Anubis nodded in agreent. "I will help too. I may not be as good as him, but I know a few details much better than Xolotl. Try to recreate the image as closely as possible to the original scene.
"Considering the crystal’s power, it should be tracing the day where most deaths occur. You may say it’s the ti this fortress has fallen."
"Understood." Mae nodded and turned to Nathan, asking for his confirmation.
Nathan thought for a mont. "In that case, Garuda, Peng. I want both of you to sweep the rubble using your wind elent. Qilin, you say that the feng shui in this place is weird. I want you to pay close attention to what’s going on. It might lead to what we’re looking for.
"Nidhogg. You once took care of everything after Ragnarok. Can you do it here as well?"
Nidhogg paused. "I think it’s possible. First, I will disperse the chaos here and gather all those souls. Anubis is much more suitable for processing souls. What do you think?"
"There are no complete souls here. However, dispersing those souls and letting them move on should be fine." Anubis agreed.
"Too much ti has passed after all." Nidhogg made a remark, knowing why there was no more complete soul. "Anyway, the resentnt should go, so yeah, I will do it after we’re done with the recreation."
"Good." Nathan turned to Jinwu. "And Jinwu. I want you to fly around the area. I may ask you to go to several places. See if there is anything left in the rubble."
"Got it."
Nathan asked Mae, "By the way, can you like... pause the illusion or sothing?"
"Hmm..." Mae thought for a mont before raising one finger. "Master. Shouldn’t we use your domain for this?"
"What do you an?"
"I an overlapping two domains. I may not have a domain, but applying my illusion to the entire city is similar to a domain ability. If we overlap our domains, you can use your ti elent to pause the illusion. At least stop the death energy from continuing to run. I can control the illusion, but not the death energy."
"That’s... a fair point." Nathan crossed his arms. "But my domain is not as big as this fortress. At least, not yet."
"Should I use my domain as well?" Jinwu asked. "You can use the area of my domain to apply your domain. Of course, I will match your power."
"Can you do that?"
Jinwu nodded solemnly.
"All right. Let’s do it that way," Nathan agreed. "Since everyone has gotten their own task, do remind to punish those two rascals who ran away earlier."
They just laughed and moved to their own positions.
Nathan, Jinwu, and Mae stood next to each other.
"Sun Authority. Freshing Dawn!"
"Space-Ti Prison!"
"Mirror Lake."
