"Hohoho!" Fenrir had a smug face as he managed to progress quite significantly.
Na: Fenrir
Level: 832
Race: Celestial Wolf
Quality: Perfect (Low)
Ena: 10,000,000/67,970,488
Absorption Rate: 87%
Skill Unlock: 76%
Progress: 85%
Talent: 100%
Potential: 36%
Growth: 79%
Nathan observed his status while crossing his arms. "Hmmm..."
Tiamat was the first to speak. "From the looks of it, the Growth and the Progress have risen significantly. The Progress and Growth must be related to the divine vessel, which is linked to one’s body."
Xolotl nodded in agreent. "On the other hand, the potential focuses on the baptism of karma. That’s the only thing we haven’t tried. Can we use his karma to actually forcefully baptize him?"
"I can’t do it. I have tried making the contracts in many ways, but it’s either not possible or I don’t have enough ena. If it’s the latter, it’s simply not cost-effective. If it’s the forr... I may be able to do it once I evolve the Soul Contract further."
"Interesting." Xolotl narrowed his eyes. "In that case, I will try to teach them how to do the baptism. It will be a gradual process, but this ans these guys can focus on this step. I will have to ask you to focus on their other status."
"Got it," Nathan agreed. "Fenrir, you have no more problems with this arrangent, right?"
"Of course!" Fenrir was more than happy to receive this significant progress. If in the past he was prophesied as the wolf that would devour the sun, he wondered what he would beco after becoming a true god.
He might beco the ferocious wolf that would devour the solar system, if not the galaxy. Just thinking about it excited him.
He really couldn’t wait for the day he beca a true god.
The others were staring at him with envy. They should have volunteered and gotten all this progress.
Only Garuda remained calm. He had been observing the progress all this ti. Nathan’s thod was special. It might be the only saving grace in this hopeless situation.
He rembered that the original Nathan had reached the end of the Soul Contract. It might be because he hadn’t used the Soul Contract to its full potential.
Had the original Nathan realized such a thing, he might be able to grow further.
In the end, they were living in two different worlds. In this world, there was no ga. So, the system panel they saw from a familiar was considered nothing but a way to identify their progress.
On the other hand, Nathan went one step further and discovered that the world contained so much information.
Unfortunately, the world only contained information up to the true god level. There might be another level beyond it, but they hadn’t discovered it yet.
Nevertheless, the fact that Nathan could actually help soone to beco a true god was beyond his understanding.
Even his forr lord could only help them indirectly through enlightennt.
Garuda couldn’t help but smile, knowing that his current lord might be able to truly surpass his forr lord.
Xolotl said, "In that case, we should continue to the next familiars. Who will be next?"
"It will be ." Anubis stepped forward. "I personally think it’s better if I just get all the ena, but..."
Xolotl shook his head. "Right now, you are more than capable of helping us. It’s best to help you evolve. When you truly beco a true god, you may actually be able to do things that you can’t do before."
Anubis nodded in understanding. "I know that point. That’s why even though I don’t entirely agree with this path, I won’t object to it either."
Na: Anubis
Level: 834/964
Race: Jackal
Quality: Perfect (Low)
Ena: 10,000,000/75,187,900
Absorption Rate: 88%
Skill Unlock: 80%
Progress: 50%
Talent: 59%
Potential: 90%
Growth: 42%
Anubis had helped many people in the past. His karma was the highest, so the karma might have naturally baptized him over ti. That was why his Potential was so high.
It was the sa as Nathan rembered when he saw this status for the first ti.
Anubis improved quite a lot, but it looked like Anubis could actually beco the first to reach the true god level.
Even Tiamat couldn’t help but say, "Looking at your status, I think you’re going to be the first one to evolve."
"No way!" The divine beasts were shocked. At first, they never really paid that much attention to Auric’s status. At that ti, they didn’t know for sure what those four statuses truly represented.
It turned out that the Potential was what they required the most.
"You have been living kindly and made a lot of miracles for the people. Your karma is naturally high, and your body is gradually developing toward it. If you have known the path to becoming a true god, you can probably beco a true god pretty quickly." Xolotl gave his assessnt.
Anubis nodded. "I did help a lot of people, but it wasn’t necessarily because of karma. Although I never really admitted it, I wanted to be accepted."
Unlike most gods and goddesses in his mythology, who were humans with half-beast traits, Anubis was a rare beast god with half-human traits.
He wanted to be the sa as his peers, so he perford miracle after miracle. This way, his na would be recognized, and people would worship him. They would believe that he was the sa as the others, or even more than these gods.
It was a small reason, but it actually helped him when it mattered most.
If he could beco a true god, he might be able to help more people. In this world, there was no need for him to get another acceptance anymore. There were many beings similar to him, and people were already worshiping him after he perford his extraordinary healing abilities.
Nathan smiled at Anubis. "Are you ready, Anubis?"
"Yes, Summoner." Anubis paused for a mont. "I do want to tell you sothing, though."
"What is it?"
"Thanks. All this evolution matters is one thing, but I really want to thank you for bringing into this world. It might be a mistake at first, but I really ca to love this world."
Nathan was surprised before smiling.
