Once the battle was over, Regina and Ternius imdiately mobilized a large number of people to start gathering the cores. The soldiers would be with them in case any aliens still survived.
The soldiers didn’t complain because both of them explained that they might have achieved victory, but they didn’t have ti to waste.
Nathan, on the other hand, gritted his teeth. The others had already started recovering their energy, but Nathan was a bit anxious about the possibilities in his head.
"Nathan? What’s wrong?" Selena seed to notice his worries.
Nathan sighed before saying, "Nothing happened here. If my jinx worked like it was supposed to work, that ant sothing special occurred elsewhere."
"!!!" Selena widened her eyes. "Do you an..."
Nathan nodded. "Sothing must have happened on our continent. Of course, there’s a chance it doesn’t happen or this entire sche is not related to my jinx.
"For now, I’m planning to leave behind a soul contract here so that soone can tell if sothing big has happened on this continent. As you may know, we can’t afford for this continent to fall."
"Yeah." Selena agreed with Nathan’s plan. "In that case, we should stay here for one day... No, two days. We need to recover as much energy as we possibly can before heading back. Still, has Elysion contacted you?"
"Fortunately, Elysion hasn’t torn the contract that was prepared for ergencies. It looks like the situation is still under his control. I just don’t know what will happen right now."
"In that case, you should focus on recovery. If you spend too much ti thinking about the possibilities, you may not have enough energy when you need it the most."
"You’re right." Nathan let out a long sigh. No matter how much he spent thinking, in the end, they were just possibilities. It was better to spend his ti recovering rather than thinking about nurous possibilities.
At the sa ti, he couldn’t help but think that he should start developing an ability that allowed him to peek at the future or other tilines.
If he could peek at those possibilities, he might be able to plan for his future faster.
He wondered if the original Nathan had this ability.
Nevertheless, Nathan was rushing to get his second divine rule. As long as he ford his second divine rule, his strength would increase drastically.
The closer he beca to the divine body, the better.
The next night, Regina returned with the haul. Since there were 262 elite class aliens buried in this place, she was able to give Nathan the 250 elite class cores the dynasty and the empire had promised to Nathan.
Of course, they still had a lot of other cores for themselves.
"Are you going now?" Regina asked after delivering the cores.
"We will be going tomorrow morning. We can’t afford to waste too much ti here, fully aware that the enemies are coming. I don’t know how far they’ve invaded." Nathan shook his head helplessly.
There was a possibility that Elysion had fallen, so there was no one who could inform them.
But it was very unlikely for soone of Elysion’s caliber to die so easily.
So, Nathan chose to spend only a day and a half to recover their energy and returned to Gratzel.
What Nathan predicted ended up becoming a reality. The mont he returned to Gratzel, he imdiately asked Elysion, "Elysion. I’ve returned to Gratzel. Where are you? What is our condition?"
"Oh, it’s good that you’re here now. I am not far from the Holy Kingdom. I have slowed them down, but they’re actually more powerful than you said."
"Powerful? What do you an?"
"It looks like there are a couple of alpha class aliens on top of the 500 elite class aliens you ntioned."
"!!!" Nathan widened his eyes. The girls couldn’t contain their shocks.
The elite class aliens were already hard. They had to fight them in their current conditions.
And they had to actually deal with several alpha class aliens?
Nathan’s face darkened. In their conditions, they could barely take care of the elite class aliens.
If they truly had to handle the alpha class aliens, they might not be able to accomplish their missions.
"Anyway, co here first. See the situation for yourself. For now, I still have enough soldiers to spare."
"Understood." Nathan nodded. He asked Evelyn to teleport them right away.
It took them a few minutes to pinpoint the exact location, but it wasn’t hard to find such a large army.
When he reached the battlefield, Nathan confird several alpha class aliens.
"This..." Nathan gasped.
The battle between the undead army and the alien army was astonishing, but he was more concerned about the alpha class aliens.
’My luck...’ Nathan couldn’t help but complain in his heart. He wondered how he should solve this problem.
"As you can see, there are alpha class aliens." Elysion pointed forward. "How do you plan to solve this? Judging from your expression, it doesn’t look like you’re ready for this."
"I already expected it to go worse, but not this bad." Nathan sighed. He needed ti to think about their next move. "I’m sorry, but how long can you keep this up?"
"Maybe two more days. I expect myself to last seven days, but because of those alpha class aliens, I can only last for five days max.
This was already the third day, so they didn’t really have much ti left.
Nathan’s expression turned solemn before Elysion placed his hand on Auric’s shoulder.
"!!!" Nathan turned around.
"Listen, kid. You may have grown, but you’re still a kid to . A kid needs to rely on adults."
"But if you fight here directly, the enemy may end up..." Nathan shook his head, rejecting this idea.
"You know. I’ve been stopping them for days, so do you think I haven’t done anything in the anti, especially after knowing that this army surpasses your original number?" Elysion smirked. "I’ve been waiting for them, but I didn’t expect you to return this fast."
"!!!" Nathan widened his eyes and sensed a few people coming.
They were actually Sage Leyfon, Count Ashton, Zack Flamante, the Dragon King, Duke Coline, and the Pope. He didn’t expect the Pope to even co here.
"What?" Nathan was dumbfounded.
Elysion pointed at Vista. "I’ve asked this guy to bring all your connections here. You’ve been fighting alone all this ti. Act like a kid and get adult help."
"So, this is what you’ve been talking about..." The Pope muttered.
"Not . It was Sullivan’s idea, but I couldn’t help but agree in this situation." Leyfon chuckled.
"It was unfortunate that Sir Sullivan isn’t with us anymore." Count Ashton nodded.
"But I’m here." Zack nodded.
"Indeed. We, old bones, really need to work instead of relying on the youngsters. All those old fairy tales where the hero defeats the evil makes old people like us look incompetent." Duke Coline smiled.
"What’s going on?" Nathan gasped. Vivian, on the other hand, gasped. She knew what they were talking about.
The Dragon King stepped forward while grinning. "In the past, the Sword Saint ca to us, giving a ridiculous idea. We thought it was just random nonsense from him, but looking at this situation, I guess we can fulfill that guy’s wish."
Leyfon smirked while shouting, "It’s Daddy Ti!"
