"We’ve reached it!" Vivian looked around. They finally arrived at the coast.

The area was gloomy and covered with ash.

It was far worse than Gratzel or Erendtall. There was no sign of life around. It looked like the continent had been abandoned.

"The ash is quite thick." Nathan muttered while looking down.

"Yeah. It’s like everyone in this place has died. I believe there are still so surviving, but not many." Evelyn nodded in agreent.

They had used teleportation a few tis since they had passed the coast area and had to teleport back to know where they were supposed to go.

Now that they had reached the coast, there was no sign of life, aning that even people who lived here couldn’t withstand the impact of the disaster. It looked like the aliens had conquered even the coast.

Vivian thought for a mont. "If the aliens have reached here, does that an we’re not going to find anything?"

"No, we will definitely find people." Evelyn shook her head. "They’re most likely gathering in a single city, using it as their last stand. There is also a chance that they’re actually scattered around the continent, surviving inside a cave or sothing."

Nathan crossed his arms before summoning Mae. "Either way, we should find them. We need all the information we can get from them. The problem will be what we should do with those people after eting them."

"Ah!" Vivian looked worried. Should they save them?

On the one hand, saving them looked like a reasonable option. On the other hand, they planned to head to Qion, so wasting their energy here would end up becoming a problem.

Nathan sighed while Mae asked, "Should I just put them under my illusion and have them tell us anything we want? It’s a bit cruel, but there’s no way to help them right now."

Surprisingly, Evelyn added, "How about teleporting them back? I can bring them to the dynasty or the empire. I know that you’re concerned about our energy, but we’re planning to stay here for so ti, so I will try to recover as much as possible."

Nathan might not be a hero, so he considered his karma instead of saving them. If he took advantage of them without saving them, the bad karma would flow to him.

It might not affect him that much, but it would be different for Evelyn and Vivian. So, it might be better to just rescue them.

"In that case, you need to form the teleportation circle." Nathan crossed his arms.

"Yes. I’m considering that too. How about we connect the teleportation circle? For example, we will place a teleportation circle on the south and the north of this continent. The northern teleportation circle will be linked to Erendtall, while the southern teleportation circle will be connected to the one in Qion.

"This way, when we need to bring the girls or others, we can send them through this teleportation circle.

"In addition, I’m thinking about employing the forr mbers of the Sleeping Garden.

"I’m not sure about Christopher, but Revon and Sonia are quite free. Thanks to the sigil, they can help with the translation.

"If we can ask them to translate, the people on other continents might understand their cultures or their summoning thods. What do you think?" Evelyn asked.

She knew that it would be a huge burden, but she was trying to move according to what she believed to be the best course for this world.

By helping those people, they could get information about this continent and try to incorporate their technology into this fight.

Nathan considered it carefully before saying, "I understand what you want. If it’s a bit later, I would have agreed since we currently have an important mission."

Nathan looked up. He had to decide whether they should waste the energy while knowing that their world was in danger.

After thinking for a while, Nathan made his decision. "All right. We will help the people here. We won’t be helping all of them, but we will talk to anyone we can find and see what we should do from there."

Evelyn nodded firmly. She also understood that this was actually the best option if they had to consider everything, including the mission.

"All right. Mae, let’s proceed with our original plan."

"Yes." Mae activated her Divination.

Vivian looked up, seeing her own fate appearing above her.

Surprisingly, her fate split into two this ti.

"Hmm?" Mae raised her eyebrows.

"What’s wrong?" Nathan asked.

"Slightly weird. Do you rember the first ti I perford a divination?"

"Yes. It also split into two."

"This ti, I perford a divination under the condition of eting a person that carried the fate of this continent." Mae pointed up. "This one that seems to be pointing at the northern side of this continent is quite logical. If humanity in this place is actually residing on the northern side, it’s only natural to go further north while trying to survive.

"However, there is actually another arrow pointing south. There are multiple possibilities for this. The first one is that this person survives in alien territory. The second possibility is that the human is actually inhibiting the southern region of the continent, which ans the other arrow is the one misleading us.

"The third possibility is that this person is similar to the Godfather. In the end, the Godfather is also the kind of person who holds the continent’s fate, just not on our side.

"So, this ti, it’s a bit confusing."

Nathan crossed his arms. "I understand the situation. It looks like we have to be careful when checking them. It would be nice if there were another person to confirm which one is where humanity resides.

"Unfortunately, the information that Erendtall possesses is from before the aliens invaded us. So, we don’t know their conditions after the invasion."

Nathan thought for a mont before saying, "Evelyn, I need you to create a teleportation circle here and prepare the intercontinental teleportation circles. Vivian and I will check both of them one by one."

"Got it."
