In the North Pole, the sea was bubbling as though sothing big was about to erge. The water started to flow in all directions as an alien ca out.
This was the leader of this expedition to this world, Cthulhu.
Cthulhu looked at the sky and said, "It’s coming. Chosen one... Nathan Reckmoon. Don’t be blinded by what you’re seeing because the clock is now ticking. The world will soon undergo a massive change."

anwhile, Nathan continued building up his strength. They had been focusing on their strengths all this ti without any sign of aliens.
"Nathan. We have been on this continent for three months. There’s no sign that the aliens are coming. Is it actually fake?" Selena asked.
"How is their progress?" Nathan asked back.
Selena took a deep breath and swallowed her question. "Well, Luna is halfway through creating her divine body. She should be able to do it in another three months. Evelyn is about to form her third divine rule. Then, she will continue straight to forging her divine body.
"Vivian and I have ford our second divine rule, but I intend to form up to four rules, while Vivian only wants three rules before forging the divine body.
"Sera, Flora, and Bella are close to forming their second rule. Sera is understandable. Even though she is gullible, she is extrely talented in this regard. As for Flora, I think you already know the condition of her divine rules. She will be extrely fast at forming her divine rules past the first one. As for Bella, she’s the oldest, so she has more ti to build up the power.
"anwhile, Alavenya and Noelle are progressing at the sa rate. They are still halfway there, but I think they will do just fine. They’re our vanguards, so we will need them.
"Last but not least, Iris. She has achieved her fusion with her familiar. Apparently, she seems to be working on sothing. I don’t know if she has succeeded or not, but I guess she’s going to be fine.
"Of course, I’ve told her to start forming her divine rule. It will take so ti, but I have no doubt of her talent.
"Koraxa is also doing his best, but I don’t know what to say about him. His speed doesn’t seem to be extrely fast."
Nathan scratched the back of his head. "Well, my twisted luck only affected females, so he doesn’t receive the benefits, unfortunately."
"I see. That explains the situation. I think he will manage to create his second rule, but I don’t know about the third rule. Maybe it’s achievable in his lifeti. But I don’t think he can follow us to the other worlds."
"I know that. I want to request him to protect our ho." Nathan nodded with a serious expression.
"That makes more sense," Selena agreed. "So, that’s the progress. What are we going to do now? We have been going back and forth from this place to the front line. We have gotten a lot of cores, but..."
Selena looked around. "I wonder if we should just focus on our continent. We should just find the Asura Palace and the information it contains. Then, we should start looking for the portals and focus on forging our divine bodies."
Nathan also considered this possibility. However, he shook his head. "I don’t really know right now. Part of agrees with your assessnt. If we do nothing here, it might just be a waste of ti.
"However, if this place truly gets attacked and we don’t stop it, it will cause a catastrophe to our plan. That’s why we have to stay. Besides, everyone is progressing just fine."
"For now, yes. But our progress speed will gradually slow down if we continue to stay here for a long ti."
"..." Nathan bit his lip.
"How about this? We set up a ti limit."
"A ti limit?" Nathan understood where this was going. "If the aliens still haven’t co, we will leave... maybe placing Koraxa to monitor the situation?"
"Yes. Let’s set a ti limit. Another three months should be fine. If nothing happens, we will then return to Gratzel and focus on our search.

"..." Nathan crossed his arms. It was probably the best option they had. Nathan scratched the back of his head.
After considering the pros and cons, Nathan finally made the decision. "All right. Let’s follow that arrangent. The ti limit is three months from now."
"Yes. We will—" Just as they had agreed on the ti limit, they suddenly felt an explosive amount of ena in the sky.
All the people were alard. They raised their heads, wondering what had happened.
A massive portal suddenly ford in the sky. The portal was like a whirlpool of black water, not allowing them to see anything beyond it.
This black circle had covered the entire city, making the city extrely dark. It didn’t stop there.
A massive foot suddenly ca out of the portal. This foot was so big that it looked like it could crush half of the city with a single stomp.
If it were allowed to descend, the city would be destroyed right away.
"!!!" Nathan and Selena dropped their jaws.
Nathan said, "Selena... Did you co to discuss this matter with with the intention to use that conversation as a jinx?"
Nathan truly felt like it was an initiation for his jinx now that he thought about it.
However, Selena gulped and shook her head. "Unfortunately, not. I don’t have the intention to jinx our situation..."
"I think we need to split up now. The enemy is coming!"
"Yeah." Selena clenched her hands into fists.
Nathan rushed to the city, ready to use the barrier they had set up in order to block the initial attack and save the city from destruction.
What everyone didn’t know was the fact that this wasn’t the danger that alard Cthulhu.
