"I’ve found them here as well!" Selena reported it as well. "There are two of them."
It looked like all three countries had been attacked. In total, there were eight Ancient Ones coming to attack this world.
Nonetheless, it was a number that Nathan had expected to a certain extent. That was why he split them this way.
Evelyn and Luna would take the lead in confronting them. They were the only ones who could take on these aliens head-on.
At the sa ti, he provided the rest of the team with enough firepower to help them.
Still, Nathan went one step further by saying, "Iris, go to Evelyn’s team. Flora, you are to help Luna’s team."
"Understood."
This was the last arrangent. Iris and Flora were supposed to check the rest of the cities in the Republic.
Now that they had confird the only attack in the Republic was the one Nathan handled, they could focus on their respective enemies.
Nathan also felt relieved that the situation seed to be under control. It was true that the Ancient Ones were extrely strong. Because of their special ability, even Tiamat struggled against one in her current condition.
However, this wasn’t the worst-case scenario.
"We’re at the final phase. Kill them all!" Nathan ordered.
His familiars were excited, of course. In the end, they were divine beasts. Their powers might be restricted, but they were one step away from regaining their forr power.
In a way, they were on par with the aliens, if not for the aliens’ special powers.
Nathan pointed his finger at the humanoid alien. The latter punched Nathan. Kun abruptly slamd the alien from the side, and he managed to knock the alien this ti because of the additional water spurt from his back.
The alien fell on its back and tried to get up, but Mae used her illusion to make it look like the forest was alive and grew to restrain the alien. In addition, Tiamat closed her wings and gathered the strength on her wings before spreading her wings to unleash the chaos energy down.
Bam!
The chaos energy hit the humanoid alien and pinned it to the ground.
Still, the alien used the club to support its body in order to get up.
Before it could do so, Nathan fully activated his ability.
The ground started to turn into particles and disperse in the air before vanishing without a trace. It was as if the entire area had been chosen for removal.
The alien noticed what was going on and tried to get away, but the chaos energy from Tiamat and Mae’s illusion was pinning it in one spot.
"Shieeeee!" The alien let out a cry and released a burst of energy. It broke Mae’s illusion and negated a portion of the chaos energy. This was more than enough to free itself for a second.
Without wasting any ti, the alien rolled to the side to escape from Nathan’s range of attack.
"I’m coming in!" Kun landed in the alien’s path, right outside the area of Nathan’s ability. This way, the alien wouldn’t be able to get out.
"Shieeee!" The alien rolled into Kun. Realizing that it couldn’t escape, it let out a shriek and endured the pain of the erasure.
It suddenly hugged Kun and rolled back so that Kun would enter the killing zone with the alien. If Kun didn’t do anything, he would also get hurt. Nathan could retract his summoning as well, but it also ant the alien could escape.
Surprisingly, Nathan retracted his power without hesitation. He didn’t want to hurt Kun. Besides, he had achieved what he wanted with this ability.
Once the power that erased its body was gone, the alien threw Kun into the air. Kun dropped to the ground and produced a massive quake on the ground.
After that, he flapped his fins to launch himself back into the air.
anwhile, the alien had stood up, but it realized that its left arm had been broken due to Nathan’s attack.
While sending the black cell to repair the arm, the alien hit Nathan with its club. Unfortunately for the alien, Nathan simply altered his position to avoid the club.
Then Mae snapped her fingers.
The alien noticed that the black cell that was supposed to spread into its arm suddenly moved back as if the alien was the one retracting it.
"!!!" The alien was confused why it happened. Tiamat gathered her power and shot out a ball of chaos.
The alien struck the ball with all its might. Because its arm was broken earlier, it had to use its full strength to barely destroy her power.
However, the mont the ball disappeared, Tiamat was right behind it. The ball of chaos was just a cover.
Once it was gone, Tiamat bit the broken arm with all her heads and tore it off.
Mae kept her illusion running, trying to prevent the alien from recovering the arm. She rely created an illusion where the alien believed the black cell was rolling back. This way, it couldn’t send the black cell to repair its body.
The alien let out a loud cry that vibrated the entire area.
Nathan gritted his teeth while covering his ears. The next thing he realized, the alien had already swung its club at him.
"!!!" Nathan widened his eyes, trying to use his ability to run away, but the alien’s movent was much faster than before.
He couldn’t make it. The club ultimately hit him and smacked him to the ground with so much force that even a hill would crumble upon impact.
"Gah." Nathan spat a mouthful of blood. This was probably the strongest attack he had ever received. Several of his bones were broken and his organs were crushed.
"Master!" Mae panicked. She wanted to check his condition or bring Anubis to help.
At the sa ti, Kun slamd the alien again to destabilize the alien’s form. After that, Tiamat would send out her powerful breath and knock it down.
Kun asked, "Mae! How is he? The alien has activated its berserk state. The black cell has used its full power to assist the alien..."
