"I am... not Nathan Reckmoon."
"!!!" Everyone widened their eyes in shock.
"What do you—" Flora wanted to ask what was going on, but Selena raised her hand to stop Flora. Selena said, "I know who you are. You are my husband, the person whom I love. You are the same person who helped me out of that desperate situation in my life. Don’t play a trick on me."
Nathan smiled wryly. "I guess I should start from there."
Luna and Evelyn looked at each other. It looked like Nathan indeed wanted to reveal that truth.
Nathan turned to Mae and nodded.
Mae then activated her power.
The entire room suddenly crumbled as if it were made of glass. Then, a new scene soon formed.
"Where is this?" Sera looked around. They remained inside the room, but she couldn’t help but notice the glimmering light outside the window.
In fact, the window itself was full from top to bottom. It was a design that she had never seen before.
In addition, there were many decorations that they had never seen before.
More importantly, when she walked closer to the window, she couldn’t help but cover her mouth with her hands. "Oh my God!"
"What’s wrong?" Flora and the others were confused.
They tried to figure out what was going on, but they couldn’t help admiring the sight outside the window.
It was a city that was nothing like they had ever seen before. They were standing at a much higher spot to the point where they thought even the most luxurious castle was still too low pared to it.
From a single spot, they could see everything in the city as though they were flying in the sky.
In addition, the city was blinding. Even though the sky was dark, the city looked so alive.
"Where is this?" Sera asked. "Is this an illusion?"
Mae nodded. "This is an illusion created by the Master’s memory."
"Memory? What?" Sera turned to Nathan. There was no city like this in the world. How could he have this kind of memory?
Even Evelyn and Luna were confused. They knew Nathan wasn’t the one they knew, but they didn’t know the details.
Luna couldn’t imagine building a city like this.
Selena noticed what was going on. "Another world..."
"!!!" The girls were startled.
Nathan smiled while closing his eyes. "As expected, you are able to reach that conclusion quickly."
"You trained me to be rational at all times. I’m shocked right now, but more importantly, I want to trust you and try to see what you’re trying to do. Because that’s my role in this family, our family."
Nathan smiled. "Well, this is indeed another world. This planet is called Earth. The same planet where all the gods you know came, except for Rakusha. Fenrir, Anubis, even Gaia, or Nyx came from this planet.
"When the Earth was still in the era of gods, they fought against the aliens. Because the situation was unfavorable, they banished Earth and broke apart their power. The information about humanoid divine beings was stored inside this world.
"The information about divine beasts was stored on Earth, using their power to protect Earth.
"A very long time passed. The gods turned into myths, and the human race continued to prosper.
"In the end, it reached the level that you currently see right now. Just to let you know, there is no magic in this world. There is no special power." Nathan pointed up.
Mae clapped her hands, turning on the light in the room.
They looked up, thinking it was an illusion. However, Nathan continued, "This light could shine not because of magic or illusion. In that world, you have quite easy access to this kind of light.
"You can freeze food so that it will last longer in your house. The lights that you can see outside e from the same energy.
"In fact, this is just a small thing. You probably think this is already a miracle, and it’s hard to believe that humanity can do all this.
"However..." Nathan stood up and walked toward the window. He snapped his fingers and pointed to the sky.
When everyone followed his directions, they could see an airplane soaring into the sky.
"Humanity can actually fly in the sky. The flying metal bird you can see is called an airplane. There are probably two or three hundred people inside."
"What?" They dropped their jaws.
"This world is relatively bigger than this world, but by using an airplane, you can probably fly from this place to Erendtall in one and a half days."
"Normal humans?" Sera gasped.
"Yes. There is no magic or whatever you can think of. It’s using pure engineering." Nathan nodded. "There are trains or ships as big as a castle, carrying materials all over the world.
"In fact, the human race can even fly to outer space without any magic. They managed to create a technology that allowed them to step on the moon."
"Pure technology?" Luna couldn’t imagine it. She knew the danger of outer space, so it was unimaginable.
"Yeah. In fact, there is a bomb that can destroy not only the capital city but also the surrounding area in a single blast." Nathan nodded. "The things that I want you to make are just weapons that are equipped for soldiers. Those guns are arranged in a way that they can be reproduced in this world.
"In outer space, there will be satellites that can do a lot of things. You can spy on other countries. But for the mon people, they can be used to access everything around the world. For example, Luna, you can actually municate with your brother with the press of a button."
"That easy?" Luna couldn’t imagine that kind of technology.
"Amazing, right? Yet, in such an amazing world, humanity is on the brink of extinction. With those weapons, they could destroy the world if a war breaks out. Despite being able to connect to anyone in the world, people living in this world bee much more isolated.
"I don’t know if you can call this a blessing or a curse. Wele to Earth."
