"What did I say earlier? You're just too embarrassed?" Nathan looked confused.
"No. After that!"
Nathan recalled for a second before suddenly opening his eyes wide. He suddenly covered his mouth with both hands as if he realized he had ssed up.
"Did you just say my father asked you to join the Frexia Academy? So, this whole ti, both of you have been lying? You were supposed to make join the Frexia Academy?"
"I didn't say anything. You must have heard it wrong." Nathan shook his head furiously. He suddenly stood up and said, "That's right. Let's eat. I want to eat…"
Alavenya grabbed the back of his collar and pulled him down to the bed. After that, she sat on top of his stomach while shouting, "Don't you dare run. Explain to ! Everything!"
"I don't know what you're talking about." Nathan shook his head furiously.
"Don't play dumb. You have said it." Alavenya ground her teeth.
"That's right. I have told you about our role. As for the second thing, I want us—!" Alavenya grabbed his jaw and pinched his lips.
"I don't care about that right now. Tell . Did my father order you to bring to the Frexia Academy?"
Nathan just looked at her before closing her eyes, as if implying that she wouldn't hear a single word coming from his mouth again.
Alavenya was completely shaken. She thought, 'Don't tell … It's all true? Father actually wanted to go to the Frexia Academy and asked Nathan to join on that expedition because he wanted him to recruit like those three guys from the other academy.
'Did he say he rejected him at first? Was he innocent? With his current status, he couldn't be innocent. However, in the past, he was still an unknown summoner. His teacher, Vivian, wasn't a big na either. If my father used his influence, he could definitely pressure them.

Alavenya paused for a mont, reconstructing what might actually have happened back then.
'That was right. He ca for a mission. And that mission was to recruit . However, that was impossible.
'The only way to bring to the academy was by taunting . If it were only , I probably wouldn't go. But because it involved my father, I ended up going to the Frexia Academy.
'Hence, my father must have forced him to taunt this way. He claid to be scamd by him and endured my hatred this whole ti.
'He must know that he couldn't lose because he would be beaten up severely. The winning chance was slim, so he worked that hard just to ensure he didn't lose and fulfill the promise.

Alavenya looked shaken. Her grip loosened as she moved away from him.
"I need to get so fresh air." Alavenya just rushed outside.
Little did she know, Nathan was actually smiling. 'Hoho. Mr. Dragon King… I didn't lie, alright? It was her fault for misunderstanding it.'
anwhile, Alavenya was facing a dilemma.
'Have I been mistreating him the whole ti because of my misplaced anger? As he said, I should have fixed my anger issue. It's the one stopping from learning the whole truth. If he hadn't misspoken earlier, I wouldn't have realized this.'
Alavenya clutched her head while crouching down. She had been hell-bent on beating Nathan, but could she do that after this?
In fact, if she took a look at the situation, Nathan had only been provoking her for the sake of the battle.
'This ti, it was him trying to fix my anger issue…' Alavenya bit her lips. 'He had been helping this whole ti and just did everything according to what my father wanted. What have I done…
