Nathan chuckled. "Don't tease us. We are nothing but students, so it's not a big deal. Instead, are you sure we can accept this reward even though we don't do anything special?"

Nathan was in utter shock. He looked at the door for a bit before smiling apologetically. "Sorry, Miss Misha. I don't think I can accept your invitation."

Nathan was indirectly implying that he needed to solve the problem with Alavenya since it was more important.

"Ah. Please don't worry about it. I'm already grateful that nothing happens during the auction. If there's another opportunity, please allow to treat you to a al."

Nathan answered her with just a smile, not accepting or rejecting her offer. He grabbed the bag of gold coins and imdiately rushed out, chasing after Alavenya.

It didn't take long for Nathan to catch up, as she wasn't running for real.

But right after they regrouped, Alavenya slapped his arm, letting out a crisp sound.

"You prick." Alavenya snorted. "Why did you have to ntion food? You deserve that after saring my na."

"Anyway, the rchant is heading east. I will catch up to him. You should go to the north gate."

"All right. You should be careful. I think they will be splitting their forces into two, but if they are fighting together, just hang on for a bit. Of course, make it big so we can hear each other."

"I know that. I might defeat all of them by myself before you catch up." Alavenya harrumphed.

Nathan chuckled. When they were about to reach the exit, Nathan said, "Alavenya." He paused for a mont, making Alavenya curious about what he wanted to say. "Nice act. Thanks to you, everything went smoothly. Let's go."

"You're slow. I'm going to speed up." Alavenya snorted. As soon as she reached the exit, she headed east and sped up.

Nathan had been her enemy not long ago, but when she realized it was all just a misunderstanding, it felt like a huge burden had just disappeared from her heart. Hearing such sincere praise unknowingly put a smile on her face.

The sa thing occurred not far from the east gate. The rchant's carriage had been toppled over.

Both the rchant and the count tried their best to exit the carriage.
