An earth-shattering sound traveled through the sky, forcing all of them to cover their ears instinctively.
"Kh." Nathan gritted his teeth and turned around, looking at the sky. "What's going on?"
"An enemy attack?" Selena looked worried.
"The sound is so loud…"

Nathan summoned Nidhogg while shouting, "Nidhogg. Go up. We'll check the surrounding area."
Nidhogg imdiately took off as Nathan summoned Jinwu.
"Jinwu. Check in that direction. There was a loud sound coming from that direction. If we couldn't find anything within five minutes of flying, it would be better to go back." Nathan explained.
To their surprise, there was nothing they could see in that direction, even though they had been flying for two minutes. He sent Jinwu forward because if there were powerful summoners, they wouldn't think much of Jinwu, as he looked like a normal crow from afar.
However, Nathan was wrong. All of a sudden, the earth-shattering sound once again shook the sky.
"!!!" Nathan's expression turned grim.
"The sound wave is traveling so fast…" Nidhogg turned his head around as if trying to follow the sound wave.
On the other hand, Jinwu returned to Nathan and explained, "I'm afraid we should stop here. If there is indeed soone capable of producing such a sound, going there will result in our death.
"Although I'm curious, it's better to survive. We better head back to the village if not go back to the Frexia Academy right now," explained Jinwu.

"Are we going to die or sothing?" Selena frowned.
