The blast was so powerful that everyone couldn't help but stop in their tracks. Even Amphitrite, who had seen the level of gods and goddesses, couldn't help but glance at the destruction.

The familiars didn't know whether they should help Irving or not. It wasn't that they were scared of Selena, but they wondered if Irving was still alive after facing that attack head-on.
"Geh…" Irving's voice echoed from within the dust cloud, as it sounded like he was spitting blood.
Selena took a deep breath. Although she didn't show it, she had used a lot of ena during the battle. In the end, she had to fight against one summoner and three familiars of the sa level. There was no way she could defeat them so easily without using the corresponding amount of ena.
Even so, her plan had succeeded.
Irving was already on her knees. His right arm was gone after taking the impact. His left arm was still intact, but it snapped to the other side, having no chance to recover in a short period. Selena's expression turned grim. She raised her hand up as though she was going to release another attack to kill him.
"If you kill , you won't know anything about your father."
"!!!" Selena's body shook. Even Irving could see the hesitation in her movent.
"Searching for the reason your father is missing, yet not bearing single news. Do you think the people we have are that useless?" Irving grinned.
He was indirectly implying that they definitely had information about it. At the sa ti, Irving had never released the result of the investigation and released the information about them failing to find him.
Considering he was the one taking the count's position right after he went missing, he was probably the only one who knew about the result of the investigation.
Selena glanced to the left and right. The familiars seed to hesitate to make their moves. Hence, she asked coldly, "Are you implying that you have the information about my father's condition and whereabouts?"
Irving smirked. "If you spare , I will give you the information."
"It would have been a good trade… if you're not lying, that is." Selena shook her head helplessly.
"I'm not lying!" Irving shouted in anger.
"You're not lying? Heh? You were not the one plotting against my father, so there was no way for you to know about my father's whereabouts. You didn't even know if he was alive or not. Even if I trust your information, it must be outdated, considering the investigation was halted 9 years ago. If you think lying to can save you, I will prove it otherwise." Selena released her ena at the tip of her finger as though she were forming a blade.
"He's alive." Irving panicked.
"Of course, he's alive." Selena smirked. "Do you think I don't know that much? If he's dead, you're not even going to try a bargain with ."
"You…" Irving gritted his teeth, realizing he had been tricked.
"Let's see." Selena had the sa expression as when she was reading Nathan. "Considering he is still alive until today, it ans he must have used an ability to preserve his life this whole ti."
"!!!" Irving's body shook.
"Thanks for letting know." Selena looked like he was able to see through him from his reaction. "As for his location, I already know soone who knows where my father is. All I need is to get strong enough to rescue my father. You basically have nothing to save your life."

The three familiars ended up leaping toward Selena. The archer first fired its arrow, forcing the avatar to block that attack.
The centaur then struck Selena's hand, planning to chop her entire arm. However, Selena hurriedly retracted her hand, took a step back, and waved her staff. The sweeping force blew the centaur away, leaving only the dark elf to co from behind.
Selena actually blocked the daggers with her coat that hardened when infused by ena. After that, she kicked the elf in the stomach and blew her to the tree several ters away.
There was only one reason for the three familiars to finally make their move.
Both of them had the sa thought.
'Once Irving is dead, their summoners will die as well.' They had a hard ti fighting against Selena's familiar, so if Selena and Risa joined the fray, they would definitely lose.
