The group had finally reached the outskirts of the city, surrounding the orphanage. At first glance, it looked similar to any orphanage scattered around the Holy Kingdom.
However, the wall was actually higher, the area was slightly bigger, and the security was much higher. In fact, the surrounding building seed to be managed by the orphanage.
It made the situation a bit easier for them because they managed to create an even bigger periter for this battle. They knew exactly what would happen if a big fight broke out in the middle of the city.
That was why the holy knights surrounded the orphanage.
Noelle mingled with normal holy knights, but still not too far from Asmodeus so that he could maintain his spell.
anwhile, Eric stepped forth and shouted, "Co out, Sebastian. You have violated the human rights within the orphanage. Co out of the building and surrender."
As if they were already expecting them to co, there were a lot of people moving around within the orphanage. Most of them were n holding their weapons.
An old man wearing a priest robe ca out of the orphanage and stood several ters away from the gate.
"Well. Isn't this Saint Eric? May I know what kind of cri I have committed for you to personally co to arrest ?" The old man asked with a gentle smile.
"If you want to pretend, you should have acted as if you don't know . After all, this is the first ti we t." Eric squinted his eyes. "We have already known all your deeds. You and the brothel manager, who is still hiding inside the mansion, better surrender if you don't wish to lose your life.
"The bishop will lose all his power today. If you still wish to resist, I have no choice but to take you down personally."
Sebastian paused for a mont. "It seems there is a misunderstanding here."
"There is no misunderstanding. I will give you three seconds. If you don't co out and surrender, I will personally enter this place and seize you." Eric snorted.
"What a cruel thing to say. Are you truly a saint? You're too overbearing. If people see your actions, they will think you are a barbarian."
"All I'm doing is punishing evil." Eric raised his hand. "The one managing the orphanage refuses to co out."
"Get ready!" Paladin Raigor also raised his hand.
"I'm giving you one last chance, Sebastian. Get out and surrender or fear divine judgnt." Eric squinted his eyes.
"It can't be helped then…" Sebastian closed his eyes. The mont he opened them, he shouted, "Kill them!"
All of a sudden, a lot of windows were opened. However, these windows were the ones that the buildings around the orphanage had. People holding a bow erged from those windows and aid at the holy knights.
Without hesitation, they released their arrows, heading straight for the holy knights.
"I know you would do such a cowardly tactic." Eric muttered.
All of a sudden, a golden barrier appeared all around the holy knights, protecting them from the arrow.
Still, he couldn't reach the holy knights in the opposite direction. That was why he increased the number of holy knights in that direction. Hence, the mont they were about to attack, they could split up, with so of them defending while the others chased after the enemies.
However, another massive magic circle erged from underground.
"!!!" The magic circle emitted pinkish light.
"What is this?"
"My body is hot?"
So knights suddenly put their hands on their crotch as though they were trying to contain them.
"You're playing around too much, Sebastian. We should have killed them from the start." A woman with a dress landed next to Sebastian, with a succubus accompanying her from behind.
"Tanya… Well, you're probably right." Sebastian smirked. "In that case, we shouldn't waste too much ti. Go!"
Three familiars appeared out of thin air. The first one was a skeleton holding a cane, the second one was a similar skeleton but holding a scythe, and the last one was a red muscular demon.
"Hmm? A lich, a reaper, and a demon?" Eric squinted his eyes. Besides him, Tanya was also summoning her familiar.
"Divine Protection!" A golden light illuminated the area, overwhelming the pinkish light. Raigor finally stepped forward while saying, "It seems the holy knights' discipline is still lacking.
"Saint Eric. I will take care of that weapon."
"Yes."
Raigor raised his voice. "n of lights. Take up your arms and seize the enemies. It's ti for us to bring the hamr of justice upon these wretched people!"
The holy knights imdiately approached the building as several familiars erged from Raigor, taking down the walls.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
To his surprise, the mont the walls were destroyed, it revealed several people behind those walls. There were a total of thirty people. Most of them were holding their weapons, but six of them were actually summoning their familiars.
"!!!" Raigor raised his head. "Be careful!"
"Be careful?" Sebastian smirked as the lich lifted up its hand. More than fifty skeletal hands broke through the floor as the skeletal bodies erged from the soil. "You don't know you have walked into a trap."
Eric put his right hand in front of his head before loosening his grip as a cross fell and hung on his hand.
The cross started emitting a golden light that glowed brighter as ti passed.
"Evil, perish!"
The golden light dispersed, burning off the skeletons. "Your opponent is ."
"You?" Sebastian smirked, looking at Eric's familiars. "Those familiars are not enough."
His three familiars charged toward Eric while the latter had five familiars. All of them ca forth and did their best to protect him. However, Eric's familiars were just two-winged angels and one four-winged angel.
Only the four-winged angel could hold back Sebastian's familiar by himself. The remaining angels had to work together to stop the other two.
That was why Sebastian shouted, "After all, I still have my strongest familiars. Co out!"
A 10-ter (33-foot) tall gorgon manifested, but there was a bright red fire that suddenly flared up as a demon erged from it. The demon had red skin and a pair of massive demon wings.
He solemnly said, "Who dares to disturb my slumber? You will be facing the wrath of the Sloth, Belphegor!"
