Chapter 933: Divinity
“!!!” Nathan couldn’t help but see such a destructive power from Lilith. He never thought that Lilith would be able to kill a warrior class alien that easily.
“Oi, guys. Don’t you think she’s a bit too overpowered compared to you guys?” Nathan asked a genuine question. His familiars were divine beasts, which were considered to be equal to gods, so he didn’t expect them to have such a huge gap between them.
Of course, if Nathan was asked whether his familiar could kill a warrior class alien by themselves, he would answer with ‘Yes.’ However, at that speed and with that overwhelming power? Nathan couldn’t really claim they could.
However, all divine beasts had the sa answer.
“That’s not it, Master.” Mae shook her head.
“Even though she’s doing it to teach the young one, she’s rather… showing off her true power… sothing that Risa doesn’t have.” Anubis squinted his eyes.
“True power?” Nathan raised his eyebrows. “What are you talking about?”
“We’re talking about Divinity, of course.” Fenrir harrumphed. “She’s utilizing her divinity. She must have 250,000 to 300,000 ena during the summoning. It unlocks a part of her divinity. I’m guessing it’s divinity over blood.”
“Is that true?” Nathan asked the others for confirmation.
“Yes,” confird Nidhogg.
“We did say that we would get upgraded one more ti once we have that much ena in our body,” Jinwu also gave his confirmation.
“I see…” Nathan squinted his eyes. It appeared that having them reach that mark would be quite important. After all, it ant they could utilize a portion of their divinity.
Mae thought for a mont. “I can’t predict it as accurately, but from the feeling alone along with what has been proven from the previous ena marks, we’ll have a major unlock of our abilities at 300,000 ena, 1,000,000 ena, 10,000,000 ena, and 25,000,000 ena. Those four.”
Nathan contemplated. With 100,000 ena in their body, they had a ‘Good (High)’ quality. So, they should finally have an ‘Excellent (Low)’ quality with 300,000 ena.
Considering they had ‘Perfect (High)’ quality originally, the 25,000,000 ena mark, which was the last ntioned, should be the last step to have that quality.
There were still four other steps to reach that quality, which was divided into 2 ena marks.
Although he didn’t know which quality would represent this number, he finally understood a bit of their future plan.
“Can you really say it’s accurate?” Fenrir asked. “I can understand the arcane level mark and world class mark, but 25,000,000 ena? I don’t know.”
Anubis nodded in agreent. “Yes.”
“It’s just a rough calculation. You should be able to sense that what I’m saying might not be accurate, but the kind of gap makes sense.”
“…” Other divine beasts couldn’t say anything since they also agreed.
“Well, it’s still a long ti before we can reach that stage, so for now, let’s focus on killing these aliens, shall we?” Nathan shifted their focus back to the battlefield.
At the sa ti, Nathan was slightly distracted by this ‘Divinity.’
He couldn’t help but recall the information about all six divine beasts.
For Fenrir, his divinity should be related to his absolute strength and the fact that he could even swallow the sun.
For Anubis, he was the god of the afterlife, so his divinity was clearly represented by both the scale and the ankh.
On the other hand, Nidhogg was rather vague. He was known for a dragon who witnessed the end. But at the sa ti, Nathan thought he was a chaos dragon because of his fire, so his divinity should be similar to that of chaos.
Jinwu was rather obvious, like Anubis, since he was known as the Sun Crow. But Kun and Peng were two bodies, which made him wonder if both of them would possess a different divinity.
Last but not least, Mae. Mae’s power was the most versatile. She mastered a lot of things, but at the sa ti, nothing truly stood out. It might be her illusion, her divination, or sothing else.
Either way, Nathan quite anticipated the 300,000 ena mark this ti after realizing how amazing his divine beasts would beco.
After all, their divinity was the source of their power as a divine being. If they could get as strong as Lilith, with eight of them, he should be able to fight against soone from the Divine Hand later.
On the battlefield, Nathan’s montum was unstoppable. He massacred a large number of aliens by using every bit of his strength.
He only had one objective, which was to annihilate the aliens as quickly as possible.
Even though he had seen what Count Ashton could do, he knew that an arcane level summoner was equal to an elite class alien in a one-on-one battle. If there were other variables, either could win.
In addition, even though they had the sa strength, the gap between them was not as high as everyone thought, especially because arcane level summoners usually only had one or two familiars that could help them.
In Count Ashton’s case, he only had Dracula to help him fight. The power of those two surpassed the alien, but at the sa ti, the alien had the regenerative ability and unique ability that might allow the alien to escape.
Hence, to avoid any variables, Nathan had to finish the battle as quickly as possible. It would have been bad if the alien chose to run in this direction to kill them, which would ultimately distract the count.
Of course, Nathan couldn’t deny he just wanted to show off to his father-in-law a bit to gain his approval, but that was the second objective.
Although it took a bit longer than he wished, Nathan annihilated all the aliens around the tower in 37 minutes.
Selena and the others killed 40% of them, with Flora and Noelle contributing the most due to them fighting these aliens from the beginning.
At the very least, all 2,500 aliens had been completely wiped out and the team could finally begin to prepare for any unexpected variable and wait until Count Ashton returned.
