Chapter 940: Traveling to Another Continent
Selena was sitting between Nathan’s legs, leaning on his chest. anwhile, Nathan just hugged her lightly while saying, “I’m glad that your father doesn’t oppose our relationship.”
“ too. If he opposed it, I would have done everything I could to make him accept it.” Selena nodded in agreent. “Fortunately, it’s not necessary.”
“What are you? Are you trying to beat up your father?” Nathan smiled wryly.
“Beat up? I’m not such a barbaric woman. I… just want to have a little chat with him.” Selena pouted.
Nathan chuckled. They had accomplished all their goals, so it was ti to look at their future. “So, what are you going to do now?”
“What do you an? If you’re talking about going back to the Ashton family, it would be just for several days.”
“No. I an, what are you planning to do to grow your strength?”
“That’s…” Selena looked down. She truly couldn’t say she wanted to join the battle against the Divine Hand.
Nathan seed to have realized it and beca the first one to ntion it. “Do you want to join against the Divine Hand?”
“!!!” Selena raised her eyebrows. “Is that…”
Selena was unsure. If she uttered a wrong word, it would feel like she was the one trying to influence him.
Nathan smiled. “Yes. I don’t mind. In fact, I have been aning to ask the girls to join the fight as well. This will be a good ti for them to grow.”
“…” Selena looked down, falling into deep thought. “Actually, Teacher asked about it.”

“That’s why I want to ask Lilith about our continent. If we figure out where we are, we can cross the sea and head to another continent. From the looks of it, Erendtall is most likely the culprit.
“So, information about that continent will help a lot.”
Selena noticed sothing off from his tone. “Why do you sound like you’re not planning to bring us?”
Nathan smiled wryly. “That’s because I don’t.”
“!!!” Selena looked surprised. This travel would be much more dangerous than anything they had seen so far. After all, it was a very long trip, and there was no telling what they would encounter in the sea or on the new continent. “Reasons?”
Nathan raised two fingers this ti. “The first reason is because this expedition is dangerous in one way or another. I’m planning to figure out what’s going on with the alien as well, but the first objective is just fulfilling a certain person’s revenge.

If Nathan left this continent, there was a high chance people would take this chance to seize things he had built.
Even the king might try to absorb the newly built city if he knew Nathan died. That was why there should be people to protect it.
If Selena and the other girls followed him, the city would be left undefended. Even the Dragon King wouldn’t really protect it since Alavenya wasn’t there.
That left only Vivian, who might also go.
Hence, they had to remain. While it was true that going to another continent might be fun, as they could learn a new thing, it wasn’t a necessity.
Instead, there should be sothing else they should do.
If Flora remained, the kingdom would remain silent. Alavenya would be the assurance for the Dragon King. Sera and Noelle would keep everyone in check, while she would oversee everything.
However, Selena saw one more thing that Nathan hadn’t considered yet.
Selena said, “In that case, I will stay behind. I’ll protect everything you’ve built here and beco a reason for you to return here.
“At the sa ti, we won’t be idle. I will lead the girls to find any trace of the alien that helped the hero 500 years ago.”
Nathan was surprised. That was indeed true. In the end, there should be one clue on this continent. Although it was 500 years ago, there was a chance that the alien hadn’t died.
So, they should search for it.
Nathan smiled. “It seems I haven’t put enough thought into it. That’s true.”
Selena nodded. “That’s why you don’t have to worry about us. I’ll take care of everything here. Just don’t forget to bring a souvenir. I’m quite curious about that continent.

Both of them looked at each other for a mont before having a big laugh.
