“Big news!” A middle-aged man entered the hall where the king and his ministers held a eting.
Zack hurriedly stopped him, asking out loud, “What’s wrong?”
“I’ve got the news directly from Duke Coline Tash.”
“!!!” The people looked surprised. Duke Coline was their world class summoner, so his news should be important. Even if he didn’t tell them as a world class summoner, his position as a duke was not sothing to be trifled with.
The king couldn’t help but stand up, asking personally, “What’s the news?”
“Reporting to His Majesty. Count Ashton has been rescued from the depths of the alien territory. He has recovered and returned to the Ashton family.”
“!!!” The king widened his eyes in surprise. He had heard about Nathan’s group heading to the alien territory to save him, so the fact this news reached his ears ant they had succeeded. Instead of Count Ashton, Julius was more concerned about another thing. “What’s the condition of the group?”
That was right. In the end, Flora was still his daughter. He was still concerned about her well-being.
The middle-aged man smiled. “Nothing went wrong. The group returned safely.”
The king imdiately let out a breath of relief. Nathan had definitely done a great job.
“Count Ashton, huh?”

“Yes, sir!” The ministers could only end their discussions.

The people couldn’t help but drop their jaws to the ground. Even though there were so frictions between them, Count Ashton wasn’t supposed to kill an elder.
After all, if he beca a true dictator, the family wouldn’t trust him anymore. If Count Ashton didn’t have any explanation, he would be in a lot of trouble.
There were three reasons for Count Ashton to kill this person. The first one was a grudge. He was the most vocal person who forced him to marry another woman, which beca the cause of Selena’s suffering and his wife’s death.
The second reason was because Count Ashton needed a sacrifice to convince the family mbers. If they knew that Count Ashton was going to uphold the rule even if it ant killing the elder, that ant the female summoners in this family were finally freed from their suppression.
The last reason was sothing he wished to state personally.
“Count! What have you done…” One elder stood up.
The others were still too shocked because no one thought Count Ashton would be killing an elder.
Count Ashton stood up while stating, “Our Ashton family has beco weak in the past decade… Isn’t our tradition the cause of our family’s decline?
“I rely execute a traitor who wishes to maintain this weakness. He is a fool who can’t even acknowledge the truth when there’s an irrefutable truth right before his eyes. If he remains, the Ashton family might be reduced to a re barony in the next few years.”
“But still, you shouldn’t kill him!” Even the elders who supported his decision earlier couldn’t help but voice their concern.
However, Count Ashton’s expression remained cold. He, or more like, Nathan, had prepared a weapon for this one death.
Although Nathan had agreed to let Selena take her own revenge against her uncle, he never agreed to not do anything to her ‘family.’
And finally, Nathan found a perfect person to exact that revenge.
That was why when Count Ashton returned after killing the first target to bring Selena back to the family, Nathan took out ten vials.
“Hmm? What are you doing?” Count Ashton furrowed his eyebrows.
Nathan smiled. “If there is a dowry, I, as her partner, should also provide a bride price. I hope Uncle won’t mind if I send these ten vials for the bride price.”

A single small vial like this would allow them to summon a progenitor, so ten of them could allow them to summon a progenitor for ten generations, ensuring their prosperity.
Nathan simply asked, “If a female summoned you by using this blood, would you accept?”
