“That’s… might be possible. While it might look like it is a waste of ena, if we nurture the weapon spirit, it can help us in the long run.” Jinwu squinted his eyes.
“However, finding such a thing is not easy. I an, where would you find a ghost?” Nidhogg glanced at Anubis.

The contract was burned away.
“It failed… Maybe it’s because I’m not specific. What’s the na of this magic circle?”

The contract was reduced to ashes once again.
“It failed… again. Well, we can experint with it later. For now, there is a more important matter.” Nathan waved his hand. “Right now, I have around 1,350,000 ena.
“If I want to summon a lucky beast with 300,000 ena and sohow stay… maybe I can go as low as 400,000 ena since that’s when my contract is updated… And it’s not that far from 500,000, where I get the quality upgraded.
“That ans I can donate 600,000 ena, leaving with 450,000 sothing ena.
“In other words, only half of you will be able to utilize your divinity this ti.

Previously, they had agreed that Peng or Mae would not take it since Peng had his huge body, while Mae’s ability was less preferred against an alien, which was the purpose of the next trip.
But this ti, they had to choose three. With the addition of Nathan’s upgraded contract, the way they would fight might change.
Mae raised her hand. “If I may speak, there’s one person I’d like to recomnd. It’s Anubis. While it’s true that Anubis has fulfilled his role well enough, his divinity is extrely versatile for this group.
“After all, Anubis had ntioned previously that the divinity he had was related to the preservation of one’s body. In other words, if there is a severed limb, he might be able to reattach it as long as we still have that severed limb.
“This will be beneficial for our dangerous trip. We can be slower in the exploration, but we can’t return after losing a limb or two.”
Anubis thought for a mont before adding, “My divinity is known as Adjudication. Basically, it involves both my ankh and scale. For my ankh, Mae has explained the benefit. For my scale, it will allow to manifest my scale to reality, which won’t be powerful enough to judge a person but powerful enough to punish them. It’s basically an attack ability.”
Nathan closed his eyes for a mont before glancing at the others.
“Well, if you are talking about , my divinity is the sun.” Jinwu shrugged. “If you choose , I can manipulate heat in the area. I’m sure you’ve heard my legend about burning the Earth. Well, that’s it.
“With that little divinity, I can probably turn a rainforest into a desert. If I’m able to reach my peak power, I can burn the whole world.”
“I have told you about my divinity.” Fenrir nodded. “It’s my absolute power.”
Nidhogg thought for a mont before saying, “My divinity is related to chaos. Basically, my fla will transform once more. It will start to affect the very structure itself.
“For example, if I burn a tree right now, it will just be reduced to ashes because my fire is just a stronger version of normal fire right now.
“However, Chaos Fire is different. The tree might start to disintegrate because of my fire. That’s because the structures that make up that tree are getting so chaotic that they’re moving apart from each other.
“You can consider it as a simpler version of directional control that you have seen from Duke Coline.”
Nathan closed his eyes. Anubis was definitely the best choice. That ant he had to choose two more beasts between Fenrir, Nidhogg, and Jinwu. Mae and Peng didn’t plan to join the debate, so Nathan had to choose the combination that could make the trip safer.
Of course, he had to consider the upgraded soul contract as well, since the situation would change drastically once the contract ca into play. Besides, Jinwu and Nidhogg’s roles were similar, considering they were usually holding back the flying aliens.
After five minutes of silence, Nathan opened his eyes as though he had made his decision.
