Chapter 966: Nathan vs Evelyn (4)

*Bam!*

The ground turned into a crater with a single kick. On the ground, Jinwu was swaying his body left and right, as if trying to neutralize the force.

“What is that heavy kick? Did she make her kick heavier by using gravity?” Jinwu frowned.

Evelyn’s attack hadn’t ended yet. She used her elent to levitate in the air, as if trying to find Nathan.

Since it was hard to find Nathan around here, she had no choice but to go for Nidhogg to lure Nathan out.

Nidhogg flew toward her as if he was planning to confront her head-on. But when they were about to clash, Nidhogg flapped his wings to stop his movent at the last mont and chose to catch Evelyn’s kick instead.

“!!!” Evelyn looked surprised. This attack should have blown him away, but for so reason, her gravity didn’t co out.

Evelyn glanced down specifically at Qilin. Yet she didn’t find anything wrong with Qilin. It was clear he wasn’t the one neutralizing her ability.

“You don’t have to look at him. I’m the one who did it!” Nidhogg gathered his fla in his breath.

Evelyn spun her body and kicked him with another foot, but Nidhogg caught it again, this ti getting both feet.

It was at this mont there was a purple fla that suddenly flickered around her.

“Fla?!” No one would have thought there would be a fla that could burn gravity. But Nidhogg’s divinity, while simple, was practical.

He didn’t burn gravity. Instead, he created a chaotic field around him, resulting in the gravity failing to form. His chaos divinity worked even better against Evelyn, who pursued perfection in her ability.

Once that perfect flow was disrupted, the gravity was simply nullified.

Still, Nidhogg only had 300,000 ena in his body. It was different from Evelyn, who was considered a world class summoner.

That amount of ena suddenly erged from her body, overwhelming Nidhogg.

“No, you don’t!” Nidhogg knew it would have been fatal if he continued to hold her, so he threw her down instead.

Evelyn spun her body by using gravity, preparing herself for the continuous attacks coming from below. Peng, on the other hand, had been maintaining a certain altitude, waiting for a perfect opportunity to strike.

The mont Fenrir, Anubis, and Mae were about to attack, Peng let out a wind breath so as to distract her.

Evelyn glanced back for a split second, but she had understood this ability and chose to focus on these three familiars first.

This was when bullets once again erged from the trees and curved in the air, moving swiftly toward Evelyn.

In that instant, the things Evelyn had to process in her mind just tripled.

If she dealt with the bullets, she would get pushed down by the wind, resulting in those three beasts landing a hit on her. If she stopped the wind, the bullets would be too hard to avoid, which might also score a clean hit.

She simply had no choice. Nathan was forcing her to enter a situation where she had no choice but to take the hit.

That was why Evelyn spread both arms as wide as possible. When the bullets were about to reach her, Evelyn hurriedly clapped her hands.

“!!!” The familiars recognized what Evelyn was doing. A pink sphere soon ford around her, deflecting the bullets without any problems. The wind seed to be dispersed in all directions.

If the three divine beasts attacked her before she reached the ground, they didn’t know whether breaking through that sphere would be possible or not.

Ultimately, Evelyn floated in the air, covered by the sphere. All the attacks coming for her had gone.

Nathan couldn’t help but furrow his eyebrows, asking, ‘Is there sothing wrong? Can you guys attack her now?”

Fenrir replied, noticing that he was being pulled toward her. The force might not be strong, but he realized this ability was for sothing else. “That sphere… is a domain.”

“!!!” Nathan widened his eyes. He didn’t think Evelyn would use such a thing. Everything within a small radius would be ssed up by the sphere.

“…” Nathan couldn’t help but squint his eyes. “So, this ans we have cornered her enough that she has no choice but to use her domain?”

“Yeah. But at the sa ti, she has found you,” Fenrir replied, using the telepathy Peng provided.

All the divine beasts seed to have realized it and imdiately moved toward Nathan, as if trying to block her.

Evelyn, too, leaped toward Nathan without hesitation, planning to settle this match in one go.

anwhile, Nathan had prepared everything. If Evelyn chose to fight him with her space elent, he might have no chance against her. But if it was just gravity, he had a couple of ways to hit her.

Before the divine beasts could catch up, they suddenly stopped because of a certain scream in their heads.

“!!!” Evelyn was wary of their movent because every ti they moved back, there would be an explosion from Nathan. Hence, she had no choice but to halt her step for a second and scan the area thoroughly.

But she didn’t find anything.

‘He tricked !’ Evelyn realized Nathan was just playing with her mind because the familiars had once again resud their chase.

Evelyn was slightly annoyed and moved forward, not planning to let him go. Either way, his familiars wouldn’t be able to catch up to her that easily.

This was the perfect trap Nathan had set up. After all, the mont she rushed ahead, his magic circle went off.

There was actually a ti bomb, which had been planted right after that trick. He had tid it perfectly according to his observation about Evelyn’s reaction ti.

The bomb shone brightly before engulfing her in a massive explosion.

Boom!

Although they didn’t know whether it was enough or not, the familiars chased after her, while Fenrir directly headed into the dust cloud so as to check her position.

“I know it won’t be this easy to defeat you.” Evelyn muttered as she erged from the dust cloud, heading straight toward Nathan.

Bella couldn’t help but widen her eyes, seeing the damage on her robe. ‘The robe? Nathan actually forced her to use that robe? While Evelyn might not want to rely on combat artifacts, that robe is still a treasure she obtains from her late grandfather…

‘It has a defensive magic… Even though Nathan is much weaker than her, I have never thought that his trickery is enough to force her to use the robe to block an attack…

‘But with this… it’s over for Nathan.’ Bella sighed, seeing the shadow behind a tree getting startled as if it wanted to get away. Evelyn had arrived.
