Upon hearing this question, Nathan couldn’t help but smile. That was right. It had been a few months since he ca to this world.
Originally, the only thing he could think of was how to survive. He couldn’t even endure such little pain, so how could he endure the pain when fighting against the aliens?
He was so desperate to survive that he didn’t have ti to think about anything else.
However, this ti, he had changed. He had gained a strong enough foothold in this world that he could think about what he wanted to do and what he wanted to achieve.
Still, for this type of question, there was only one answer he could think of. Whether when he was on Earth or after coming here, he only wanted one thing.
A family.
That was right. It might look simple at first glance, but for soone coming from the broken family, he just wanted to have a family.
He was ruthless against his father on Earth, while this world provided him with a new father, only to find him having nothing toward him. He didn’t have the attachnt, probably because they were the real body’s parents, not his.
He wanted a place where he belonged. In the end, he was just an ordinary person from Earth, not a billionaire who wanted to go to Mars or create a business empire.
"There’s only one thing I wish to have." This was probably the first ti he showed such a sincere smile. He looked at the Pope with such innocent eyes as though he were just a kid. "I just wish to have a family... a place where I belong."
"!!!" The Pope was completely confused. He never thought he would receive this kind of answer, but at the sa ti, the emotion he could feel from his expression said he wasn’t lying.
Sera looked at both of them, thinking, ’A family? Teacher has been asking a lot of questions and telling all those weird stories.

Sera didn’t know what to say. Nathan had always done so many marvelous things, so this answer didn’t feel like it was coming from him.
The Pope suspected the sa thing and asked, "You have such powerful strength and are smart. And all you want is a family?"
Nathan couldn’t help but furrow his eyebrows. "What do you an by all I want is a family? Do you think a family is that simple?
"No. I should reword my question. Do you think I’m lacking ambition just because I want to have a family? Does having a family as an ambition make it lower than all those ambitions?
"Do you want to have an ambition to conquer the world? Do you want to grow my strength and destroy the world?
"Well, I might end up having that ambition... Things I’d do for my family..." Nathan let out a long sigh. "I have given you my answer. All I want is to have a family. If my family is being threatened, I will crush all those threats, even if I have to be feared as a tyrant.
"If this world can’t host the family because of the aliens, I will get rid of those problems." Nathan closed his eyes for a mont before saying, "I’m nothing but an ordinary man from an ordinary background. I have a simple goal, but this goal might be harder to achieve than the ambitions of most people..."
The Pope was speechless. Sera felt like her heart was being squeezed by an invisible hand. This was the first ti she heard of his goal.
It was also a declaration for her. The family he wished to have been one where they would all smile.
In other words, Nathan would do everything possible to fulfill her ambition so that she could smile. As Nathan said, the goal might look simple, but the way to achieve it was much harder than anything they could think of.
She wanted to end world hunger. Other people also had their own ambitions, like Noelle, who wanted to have the sharpest sword in this world, or Alavenya, who wanted to surpass her father.
This was Nathan’s path. An ordinary goal with a great path.
Nathan asked again, "Is it wrong to have such a goal? Is my goal lower than other people’s ambition?"
The Pope finally sighed. "I have to apologize for underestimating you. I thought I had understood you, but it turns out I have understood nothing. Family, huh? Indeed, it might look simple, but for soone like you, it might not be as simple as everyone can imagine."
In the Pope’s eyes, Nathan, with his great ability, couldn’t make an ordinary family.

"There is nothing stronger than family. And I will spread my na wide so that I can protect my family, even if I’m not beside them."
"!!!" Now that he understood Nathan wasn’t lacking ambition at all, these two quotes were sealing the deal in his heart.
Nathan lowered his head and said, "I like Seraphina. I love her. I promise I will make her happy, so please allow to marry Sera."
The Pope smiled. "Do you like her that much? Although I’m not her parents, I’m still her guardian and teacher. Unlike any other people I have seen so far, even this generation of saints and saintesses, I have seen no one with eyes purer than hers."
"Isn’t that why we adore her very much?" Nathan replied without hesitation. He even ntioned ’we,’ knowing full well this was also the reason Sera was the Pope’s favorite student. If not for her becoming a corrupt saintess, she would have been the next leader candidate.
The Pope chuckled. "Right?"
