Having not returned for nearly ten years, this was truly a very joyous occasion for Ye Tianchen and his parents and sister. They were all very happy. The reunion al was filled with happiness. Even his sister, Ye Qianwen, agreed, which made Ye Tianchen curious about what kind of woman had gained his parents’ and sister’s approval during the nearly ten years he’d been away. It certainly took so skill!
Ye Tianchen knew his parents and sister well and was aware they wouldn’t casually approve of soone, especially a potential daughter-in-law. This was a significant matter, related to his lifelong happiness and the whole Ye family’s future developnt. They would be very cautious. Liu Rui glanced at Ye Tianchen but said nothing more, instead smiling and speaking to Ye Hong and Luo Yan, "Uncle, Auntie, do you feel better today?"
"Yes, Rui has co, sit down, sit down!" Ye Hong said with a smile.
"Rui, sit next to Auntie. You haven’t co over for dinner for days. Auntie misses you!" Luo Yan quickly invited Liu Rui to sit beside her.
Liu Rui, without any hesitation, sat down next to Luo Yan, taking chopsticks and serving Luo Yan food, a scene that Ye Tianchen witnessed with his own eyes.
"You... this..." Ye Tianchen found himself speechless, filled with doubt.
It was well-known back then that Ye Tianchen’s peeping at Liu Rui while she bathed caused a sensation throughout the Capital City. But the bride being Liu Rui was quite a shock, difficult for him to accept. Liu Rui ... even in his dreams, he never expected to marry Liu Rui—it was absurd, like sothing out of a fantasy!
But after Liu Rui left the dining room villa, seeing his parents and sister so serious and earnest, Ye Tianchen realized they weren’t joking, and they were genuinely considering Liu Rui as his future bride, hoping he’d marry her. There was certainly a story here, a story unknown to Ye Tianchen!
"Dad, Mom, during these ten years that I wasn’t here, sothing must have happened, right? Otherwise, you couldn’t possibly hold Liu Rui in such high regard. Could you tell about it?" Ye Tianchen asked sincerely, glancing at his parents and sister.
It must be said that the ones Ye Tianchen cared about the most were his parents and sister. They were his closest relatives.
