Kneeling on one knee, this is sothing that has never happened to Ye Tianchen before, but today, it happened at the World’s Best Restaurant in Capital City in the Mortal World. "Good night!" Liu Rui said yawning.
"Good night!" Ye Tianchen also said yawning.
Who knew, these two felt perhaps a bit awkward or maybe they were really just too busy to rember that after today they were a married couple and should be sleeping together, hardly each living separately!
"Master Tianchen, Madam, you both should be staying here from now on!" A servant following behind said with a smile.
Upon hearing this, Ye Tianchen and Liu Rui froze for a mont before exchanging a slightly awkward look and smile. After hesitating a mont, Liu Rui said, "I’m really tired, I still think my own bed is more comfortable."
"Yes, let’s sleep alone tonight then!" Ye Tianchen also replied with a smile.

Ye Tianchen went upstairs while Liu Rui headed downstairs towards the room where Hu Xiaoqi stayed, both feeling a bit awkward, sensing tonight might just be a sleepless night for both!
Technically speaking, both Ye Tianchen and Liu Rui are together. Even considering their wedding involved parental pressure considerably, this doesn’t an there’s no emotion between them. Marriage ans doing what married couples do, that’s natural, yet why the awkwardness for both?
Actually, the most important reason is that despite having feelings for each other, they had never had any physical intimacy, hence feeling awkward at just the thought of it, instinctively avoiding the situation.
"This... can’t sleep here!" Liu Rui opened Hu Xiaoqi’s room and said depressingly.

Apparently, Ye Tianchen’s parents knew the two weren’t necessarily deeply in love, suspecting they married more for peace of mind. Hence, Ye Tianchen’s parents had long instructed their servants to remove every bed except the master bedroom, leaving Ye Tianchen and Liu Rui with no choice but to sleep together!
This single man, single woman, fire and tinder, as long as they sleep together, things between n and won will naturally happen, isn’t that obvious? Ye Tianchen and Liu Rui just didn’t expect to be forced into this situation!
"How about this, you sleep in my room, I’ll sleep on the sofa tonight!" Ye Tianchen smiled at Liu Rui.
"Really? Then I’ll take you up on it, I’m truly exhausted!" Liu Rui yawned.
In the quiet night, Liu Rui lay in bed and Ye Tianchen on the sofa, neither had fallen asleep, pondering what the other was thinking. Really asleep?
Especially Ye Tianchen, feeling surprised despite his cultivation realm and self-control.
