At that mont, when the hundreds of people in the village saw the Buddha Light erupting around them, protecting them and not imdiately falling into the clutches of the Peacock Great Bright King, they all understood. Even though the young monk was no longer present, or already dead, he was still protecting the entire village. This prompted everyone to clasp their hands, sit cross-legged, and begin murmuring, sincerely praying in their hearts, hoping the young monk would be safe, could return safely, and would save them, save the world!
"Hmph, just a bunch of mortals. That young monk, not knowing his place, dared to offend , the Peacock Great Bright King, and has already been swallowed by . How could he still be alive? Don’t indulge in wishful thinking. This Buddha Light won’t protect you for long. You’d better obediently step out and beco my food," the Peacock Great Bright King scoffed.

The Peacock Great Bright King frowned deeply. It never expected that the young monk it had swallowed would still be alive, and could still speak within its abdon. Impossible! Shouldn’t he have already dissolved into pus, rging into its flesh and blood?
"Hmph, didn’t expect you to have such an ability. It seems I’ve underestimated you!" The Peacock Great Bright King said snidely.
