“Your heart of invincibility is strong, and your foundation is not bad, possessing the potential to beco an Emperor, but you are too naive.
Since ancient tis, in this Martial Arts Great World, there have been countless favored sons of heaven, yet over thousands of years, only five have beco Emperors.
These five individuals are the real Great Dominators, while all other talented geniuses have perished, either dying of frustration or on the path to becoming an Emperor.
I will now shock kill you, making you utterly convinced, to see if your faith in invincibility remains steadfast…”
The rumbling sound, like the sky collapsing and the earth sinking, that suspended finger above Ye Tianchen’s head shock killed downwards, its might overwhelming, its shadow obscuring the sun, appearing even more ferocious in the Sun Never Sets Mountain, unstoppable.
Pu!
Ye Tianchen could no longer withstand such oppressive might, a finger comparable to that of an Emperor’s from within the Sun Never Sets Mountain, who had not even used any powerful Divine Arts, just enlarged and dropped a finger.
Ye Tianchen knew that if it weren’t for the fact that the entity within the Sun Never Sets Mountain was suppressed and sealed by Emperor Ao Kong using the “Mixed Elent Bell,” preventing him from using Divine Skills, he would have died long ago, as in the eyes of such a being, he was indeed nothing more than an ant.
However, whether it is a person or anything else, born between heaven and earth, one possesses their dignity, unrelated to strength or weakness, it is the essence of survival.
Thus, Ye Tianchen would not submit or kneel, even if his spirit and form perished, he would fight until his last drop of blood dried up, such is his invincible belief, such is his determination to beco Immortal.
From the mont he beca a Martial Artist, this belief was deeply ingrained in his heart, unchangeable even if his soul dispersed and he turned to ashes.
“Let see just how hard your knees are…” The entity in Sun Never Sets Mountain dropped the enlarged finger, at this mont, he did not intend to directly kill Ye Tianchen, but to shake his invincible heart, to utterly drive him to despair, which was much crueler than simply killing him.
Bang!
Ye Tianchen exploded like a burst, with golden light in thousands of paths, even though protected by the “Vajra Invulnerability Divine Skill,” he couldn’t block a finger from the entity in the Sun Never Sets Mountain; the gap was just too large, an existence that could contend with an Emperor.
Ye Tianchen simply couldn’t compare, at least not right now.
Blown to pieces, his physical body exploded, and Ye Tianchen was in extre pain, covered in blood.
That finger was almost upon his head, once it touched, Ye Tianchen would turn to ashes, his spirit and form completely perishing, forever dispersing between heaven and earth.
However, even at this stage, with his legs’ bones and flesh turned into Blood Mist, barely visible, Ye Tianchen still defiantly stood his ground, proudly looking up at the entity deep in the Sun Never Sets Mountain, already without the strength to fight back, barely even able to breathe, his Martial Arts True Power scattered, and his blood drained—this was a sign of impending complete destruction.
“How about that?” The entity within Sun Never Sets Mountain coldly asked.
“My combat prowess is indeed inferior to yours right now, but that doesn’t an I will always be inferior.
If I am still alive, one day, I will enter the Sun Never Sets Mountain and shock kill you, letting you understand the dignity of the so-called ant!” Ye Tianchen roared defiantly, unafraid of life and death.
“Then I will eradicate this ant…”
Slowly, that finger suspended above Ye Tianchen’s head fell.
The mont it was about to touch Ye Tianchen’s head, just a light touch would cause his spirit and form to be destroyed, Dongfang ng and Tianshuang, both were down, barely breathing, this oppression was simply too imnse.
Even without the finger falling, just a slight shake would turn them into a handful of Blood Mist, giving one a profound sense of powerlessness.
Ding!
A bell sound, Chaos Qi shook the entire Sun Never Sets Mountain, spreading out from its depths, suddenly clearing the deathly still gloom, a slight sunshine broke through where the finger was just about to fall upon Ye Tianchen’s head, blocking it with the erging Chaos Qi, unable to fall any further.
“Ao Kong…
Ao Kong…” A roar ca from deep within Sun Never Sets Mountain, that unwillingness, like a desire to devour Ao Kong’s flesh.
Ding!
Another bell sound, strong Chaos Qi ca from the depths of Sun Never Sets Mountain, sweeping across the gloomy area, forcing the finger lingering above Ye Tianchen’s head to quickly retreat back into the mountain, no longer possessing the strength to strike.
Whoosh!
A stream of Chaos Qi shot into Ye Tianchen’s body, rapidly reassembling his flesh.
His injuries healed at a visible rate, further hastened by the gentle healing power left inside him by Zhang Ruotong, speeding up his recovery even more.
After two bell rings, everything cald down.
The presence within the Sun Never Sets Mountain ceased its clamor, likely suppressed by the Emperor’s Artifact, the Mixed Elent Bell.
If it hadn’t been for the critical mont when the bell of the “Mixed Elent Bell” rang, Ye Tianchen might have been obliterated, body and spirit.
He wouldn’t have been sitting cross-legged in mid-air, still radiating golden light, imrsed in ditation and healing his wounds.
Ti passed, and Ye Tianchen felt that his injuries still needed so ti to heal completely, though they were no longer a major issue and would not affect his combat abilities.
This rapid recovery was thankfully due to the Chaos Qi that had entered his body and the gentle power left by Zhang Ruotong—without these two powerful forces, such injuries could have left him a cripple for life, even if he survived.
When Ye Tianchen opened his eyes, he found Dongfang ng and Tianshuang lying next to him, pale and unconscious.
He quickly checked their wounds; both had been severely injured by the enormous oppressive force from within the Sun Never Sets Mountain.
Ye Tianchen thought for a mont, helped Dongfang ng and Tianshuang into a seated position, and slowly infused Martial Arts True Power into their bodies.
About an hour later, both of them gradually opened their eyes.
“Where are we?
In hell?” Tianshuang asked sowhat nonsensically.
“It seems we aren’t dead, Tianchen.
Did you block the presence in the Sun Never Sets Mountain?” Dongfang ng asked in surprise.
Ye Tianchen shook his head, recalling the feeling of helplessness when that finger had descended.
The opponent was too powerful, capable of obliterating him without even using any significant Divine Arts, rely by the fall of a finger.
If it hadn’t been for the bell of the “Mixed Elent Bell,” Ye Tianchen would have undoubtedly turned into ashes.
This event hadn’t just been a blow to him; it was a provocation, an inspiration.
He felt more than ever that entering this Martial Arts Great World required imnse strength.
Consider the presence within the Sun Never Sets Mountain—a real Great Demon that kills without blinking, regarding everyone as ants.
Once it erges, it might cause rivers of blood across all Star Domains, a world filled with Corpse Mountains and Blood Seas.
Suppressing this demon would likely require an Emperor?
The Mixed Elent Bell had been suppressing the presence in the Sun Never Sets Mountain for over five million years.
How much longer it could continue, no one knew.
Perhaps it would suppress forever, or perhaps one day the Great Demon would escape, and that would likely spell disaster for the entire Martial Arts Great World…
“Let’s go in and take a look!” Ye Tianchen snapped back to reality and looked towards the depths of the Sun Never Sets Mountain.
“Go in and look?
Where?” Tianshuang looked at Ye Tianchen as if he were an alien.
“Into the depths of the Sun Never Sets Mountain,” Ye Tianchen said calmly.
“What?
Are you insane?
Did your brain get waterlogged or buggy?
Do you think life is too long?
Madman!” Tianshuang couldn’t help but look at Ye Tianchen incredulously.
“Tianchen, it’s too dangerous.
We were lucky to escape with our lives—it’s luck amid misfortune.
Let’s go!” Dongfang ng also persuaded him.
Ye Tianchen understood the concerns of Dongfang ng and Tianshuang.
He was afraid too; the being within the Sun Never Sets Mountain was not sothing he could contend with at the mont.
To put it bluntly, a re spit from the opponent could kill him—that was the level of their disparity.
However, Ye Tianchen was not one to easily bend or be frightened.
Otherwise, he wouldn’t have made it this far.
He was ready to take a gamble.
If he won, he would be able to move freely in and out of the Sun Never Sets Mountain and might even find the second piece of the Ancient Transmission Array.
This was his only chance; if missed, he might never be able to approach the Sun Never Sets Mountain again.
“I know it’s dangerous, but I hope you can trust .
At the critical mont, the bell rang from deep within the Sun Never Sets Mountain, and that Great Demon’s reluctant roar forced them to stop attacking us.
This shows Emperor Ao Kong’s suppression from the past is still very powerful and currently restricting the being within the Sun Never Sets Mountain.
I suspect that after more than five million years, Emperor Ao Kong’s seal has so cracks, hence the brief offensive opportunity for the being inside.
The ringing of the Mixed Elent Bell likely resealed it completely.
This was Emperor Ao Kong’s contingency plan, providing us with a once-in-a-lifeti opportunity.
To enter the Sun Never Sets Mountain and find the second piece of the Ancient Transmission Array, this is the chance…” Ye Tianchen said.
“But if your guess is wrong, wouldn’t that an sending us to our deaths again?
We can’t always be as lucky as this ti…” Tianshuang said seriously.
Ye Tianchen thought for a mont.
His guess was feasible but could also be wrong.
After all, the being inside the Sun Never Sets Mountain and Emperor Ao Kong were at a level he could not currently reach.
If, as Tianshuang said, his judgnt was wrong, then this would be their second death sentence, definitely not as lucky as the first ti with the “Mixed Elent Bell.”
“In that case, you stay here while I go in.
If I haven’t returned in three days, you should leave quickly!” Ye Tianchen looked at Tianshuang and Dongfang ng and said.(To be continued.
