Now reading: Chapter 212 Desert Hunting from Super Gene Hunting Ground, a Eastern novel by Bing Ji Ge.

Everyone entered the desert zone, where the two giant eagles suddenly beca excited. They spread their wings and soared into the sky. Huang Wen, worried that the giant eagles would get lost in this unfamiliar environnt, quickly rose into the air to follow behind them.

Yang Xiao planted a four-ter-long steel pipe on a small hillock not far from the transmission array.

"Everyone rember, if you see this red flag, that ans we’ve found the transmission array. Let’s not wander off; for now, we can only move around the vicinity of the transmission array. Rember not to leave the team on your own."

Everyone nodded their heads.

A hissing sound ca from the distant sky, and it seed that the two giant eagles had gotten into a fight with so monster.

"Let’s go and take a look."

Qin Yu and Deng Xiao took to the air, while Chen Fei and Dai Yun followed Yang Xiao on foot towards the commotion.

The two giant eagles were fighting with a huge cobra.

The thick cobra constantly spat black poison liquid at the giant eagle in midair, which seed to be very afraid of the poison and kept dodging, occasionally launching fiery feathered arrows in retaliation.

The giant snake would then produce a black shield to block the giant eagle’s feathered arrows, which would hit the black light screen shield with snapping sounds, but the shield remained unhard.

Huang Wen seed to be unable to intervene; even several fiery feathered arrows shot from behind hit the cobra’s body, but the hard scale armor was undamaged.

By the ti Yang Xiao and the others arrived, the two giant eagles were in full battle spirit. Suddenly, the mother eagle let out a shrill scream, and dozens of fiery feathered arrows shot out, with about a dozen fireballs exploding around the giant snake. The giant snake finally couldn’t withstand it any longer; the black light screen shield was shattered, and pieces of scales from the Snake God were blown off, with blood flowing profusely.

The giant snake turned to escape, but the mother eagle suddenly spread its wings and swooped down, its sharp claws directly grabbing the cobra’s head, piercing its eyes and penetrating its brain.

The cobra finally died, dropping three genetic spheres and a golden longsword.

With its sharp beak, the giant eagle tore open the cobra’s hard scale armor and began to feast on the flesh. The smaller giant eagle also flew over and joined the al with its mother, looking very excited.

Yang Xiao knew that these mutant monsters could gain energy for genetic evolution by devouring each other’s corpses, so naturally, the giant eagles were very happy about the corpses of these high-level monsters.

Huang Wen walked over, picked up the genetic balls and longsword from the ground, and said to Yang Xiao:

"Do you want to eat so snake at too?"

Yang Xiao chuckled and replied:

"I’m in the mood for sandworm."

With that, he started running ahead.

Dai Yun and Chen Fei quickly followed, while Qin Yu and Deng Xiao followed in the air.

Yang Xiao had only run a few dozen ters when he felt the ground beneath his feet trembling. A sandworm dozens of ters long burst out from the sandy soil and started chasing after Yang Xiao, Chen Fei, and Dai Yun with its mouth wide open.

Yang Xiao and his companions had put on the latest wind-controlling boots, increasing their running speed by 20%. With the sandworm’s inherently slow speed, they didn’t feel too pressured.

The sandworm chased after them, occasionally spraying white frost in their direction.

Yang Xiao ran around the vicinity of the transmission array, wary of encountering groups of monsters and not being able to avoid them in ti, which would allow them to quickly enter the transmission array and escape.

Sotis, when the sandworm got too close, Qin Yu and Deng Xiao would shoot fiery fla arrows at the sandworm’s head. The sandworm, sensing danger, would spray white mist to block the attack.

Qin Yu and Deng Xiao’s fiery fla arrows were extinguished by the white mist, turning into two ice cones before falling to the ground.

Yet, after such an interruption, Yang Xiao and the others were able to widen the safe distance from the sandworm.

Yang Xiao ran a few dozen ters more when he felt the ground tremble once again, and another sandworm burst forth.

Dai Yun and Chen Fei knew Yang Xiao’s tactics, so without a word said, they always followed closely behind Yang Xiao, drawing the sandworm’s pursuit.

Huang Wen wanted to see if the two giant eagles could handle the sandworm, but they seed enamored with the flesh of the snake god, unwilling to move; they only glanced sidelong at the sandworm chasing Yang Xiao, then buried their heads and continued tearing at the snake at beneath their claws.

Helpless, Huang Wen unfolded her wings and took flight, joining Qin Yu and Deng Xiao’s ranks to help hinder the sandworm’s attacks.

After running a large circle, Yang Xiao successfully lured out four sandworms, then switched to running in a straight line, heading directly towards the Transmission Array. Suddenly turning back, he executed "Sweeping Void" and, with a loud boom, severed the four sandworms in half at the waist.

A dozen Genetic Spheres rolled out, along with three Golden Longswords and a golden whip.

Yang Xiao heaved a sigh of relief and instructed Dai Yun and Chen Fei to transport three of the sandworm corpses back to Nanmu City, where the lower temperatures made it easier to preserve them. He then sat down, drew his Longsword, and began to cut and eat the sandworm’s flesh.

The sandworms, freshly killed, had at that was still warm. Eating it felt like chewing on sticky rice cakes, very elastic. Except for a bit of a fishy sll, the taste wasn’t half bad.

Yang Xiao’s current mission was to have fun in the desert, and killing a few sandworms or monsters each day was considered profitable, so he wasn’t in a rush to find other monsters.

Huang Wen and the others didn’t eat the sandworm at raw; they were more interested in the Genetic Balls and weapons that they found on the ground.

The two giant eagles suddenly abandoned the snake at beneath them, flew over to Yang Xiao, and greedily gazed at the sandworm carcass beside him.

Having just witnessed Yang Xiao kill four sandworms with a single move of Sweeping Void, the two giant eagles showed a level of awe towards him they’d never shown before. But eventually, they couldn’t resist the cravings in their hearts and looked to Huang Wen for help.

With a smile, Huang Wen said:

"Yang Xiao, how about giving so sandworm at to Yingying? Look at these two, they’re so greedy."

Yang Xiao chuckled, and with a swing of his Longsword, he lopped off a two-ter segnt of the sandworm’s body and tossed it to the giant eagles.

The giant eagles chirped joyfully, tearing into the sandworm at. After swallowing a piece, they cawed in delight.

Huang Wen muttered:

"Is it really that tasty?"

"Why don’t you try a piece and find out?"

"I would never eat it raw; it’s too bloody."

Yang Xiao ignored her, continuing to eat heartily. He clearly felt a strong surge of electricity from the sandworm at and thought that the giant eagles must be feeling the sa.

From a forty-ter-long sandworm, Yang Xiao consud almost half, while the remaining half was eaten by the two giant eagles.

After eating Yang Xiao’s food, the giant eagles grew much friendlier towards him.

Bored, Huang Wen and the others started to walk around. They encountered a three-ter-long giant scorpion in the distance. The five of them surrounded it and fiercely attacked, seemingly only managing to gain a slight upper hand. Yang Xiao couldn’t be bothered to intervene. After finishing the sandworm at and seeing that the five were still circling and attacking the giant scorpion, he finally went over with a wry smile and said:

"Are you playing house or just gaming here?"

The five girls had been battling for an hour, each of them panting and drenched in sweat.

"Boss, if you don’t co to help, we’re going to collapse from exhaustion; my Feathered Arrows are almost gone."

With hard scale armor and strong Defense, the giant scorpion was only slightly damaged by the Fiery Fla Arrows of Huang Wen and the others. Luckily, Chen Fei’s Ice Cones could freeze the scorpion montarily, slowing down its speed. Otherwise, the five would have been defeated long ago.
