The chimpanzee caressed the smooth cut surface of the rock, showing a hint of awe towards the sword in Yang Xiao’s hands.

Moreover, each ti the Longsword touched an object, glimrs of light would flow along the blade, and the runes on it would shine brightly, undoubtedly those runes bestowed the Longsword with its mysterious power.
The more Yang Xiao used it, the more he liked it. Even without the addition of the Strength Attribute, the sword’s sharpness was a form of unstoppable power in itself.
Since the sword had no scabbard, Yang Xiao placed the Longsword directly into his Space Ring. After checking around the entire crater twice more and confirming there was nothing else to be found, Yang Xiao went to the bottom of the crater and scooped up half a ladle of spring water.
"So you two hastened your Genetic Evolution by drinking this spring water?"
Yang Xiao looked at the lion and chimpanzee.
The chimpanzee nodded.
"At first, many wild beasts in the canyon drank it. Moreover, when the Holy Spring water first overflowed, it flowed into that stream, and all the beasts in the canyon drank from it."
The monsters in this canyon are sowhat special, possessing relatively high Evolution Levels but comparatively weak Combat Power. Now it seems the problem lies with the Holy Spring water since these beasts did not evolve purely on their own strength.
For example, a rabbit’s normal Evolution would be gradual and there would be a limit to it. Perhaps it could not evolve beyond the Enhanced Gene level. But with the catalyst of the spring water, a rabbit might be able to evolve to the Interdiate Enhanced Gene level in a short ti, yet its overall Combat Power might not be as formidable.
No matter how tall a blade of grass grows, it can never beco a tree.
Both the chimpanzee and the lion initially had considerable Genetic Evolution Space, and the ergence of the Holy Spring rely helped them realize their potential earlier.

However, to enhance Genetic Evolution, it was still better to eat the raw flesh and blood of Mutant Monsters for a more potent energy, so the chimpanzee and lion chose to eat raw.
At night, the chimpanzee and the lion guarded the Holy Spring and lay down next to it to sleep, while Yang Xiao made a campfire nearby and slept next to the Fla Horse by the fire.
In the middle of the night, a thunderous noise ca from the canyon, and Yang Xiao jumped up to see, with the help of the faint light from the night sky and stars, a monster a hundred ters tall with two huge crimson eyes partially visible in the sky.

The chimpanzee and the lion roared and ran over together.
