Even if it’s just chatting with the folks on site or teasing the children, it’s good.

Not to ntion that what they do goes far beyond just those; they not only bought tents and sleeping bags for the disaster victims but also prepared ample food and drinking water for them.

For those who suffered minor injuries, they turned into nurses, dressing their wounds to prevent infection.

In matters like looking after children or washing elders’ hair, whenever they encountered them, they’d wholeheartedly do their best.

The disaster victims were sincerely moved by these three people from the Extraterrestrial Planet, because their local governnt launched frivolous attacks without rigorously controlling the scale of battles, destroying their hos, and costing so their lives.

This disaster was entirely the governnt’s fault, yet they ignored the victims, offering no help in rebuilding hos, not even providing necessary daily supplies.

Although so people publicly shared their grievances in the streets, hoping to attract attention from Delmar Planet’s various social sectors and to pressure the governnt, they were often detained by the authorities, under the pretext of disturbing public order, for several days.

Moreover, around their wrecked hos, there would often be people dressed in civilian clothes carrying weapons, pretending to maintain order, while their real job was to drive away those interested in the ruins.

As for reporters who usually focus on trivial matters like what celebrities are wearing or eating, or how many dogs they have, they were nowhere to be seen.

In the past, they would rush to report on car accidents or criminal cases, but faced with such significant occurrences, none ca to interview the disaster victims or report the events. This indicates that the reporters had been controlled by relevant governnt departnts; they no longer spoke for the common people.

Just when the disaster victims were at their wits’ end, three individuals from the Extraterrestrial Planet displayed imnse empathy for them. They not only generously supported them materially but also provided significant moral empowernt, actively helping the victims rebuild their hos. How could these actions not move the disaster victims?

Early today, these extraterrestrial individuals visited the victims once again, joining them and starting their busy work as usual.

Around eight or nine o’clock, compared to yesterday, there was so change at the scene. Several ships marked with governnt departnt insignias landed nearby, and over ten people disembarked, all wearing diverse uniforms suggesting they belonged to different departnts.

The leader held a docunt and led his team into the midst of the victims: "You all, discuss among yourselves and find a few who can speak for you."

Although the leader’s tone wasn’t particularly stern, the victims nonetheless felt uneasy. What did these governnt folks want? As they busily rebuilt their hos, they no longer harbored great expectations for the governnt, let alone plans to beg them for anything. But would these governntal people interfere with their actions?

Seeing no response from the victims, the leader got a bit impatient, standing amid the ruins, facing broken walls, inhaling the scent of trash mixed with the stench of dead animals. This place was filthy beyond description.

"Co on, speed up a bit. Get so older, respectable people to stand before ; I have sothing to say to them," the leader urged.

"What’s the matter?" one of the victims couldn’t help but ask.

The leader scratched his head, deciding it was best to be transparent, as there was nothing illicit about the matter.

"It’s like this," the leader glanced at the docunt in his hand, "regarding the disaster you suffered, our governnt departnts have discussed and decided to give you appropriate compensation."

Without knowing the truth, the victims suddenly beca excited, so even murmuring: "The governnt is still good."

The governnt has not forgotten us.

The governnt considers us.

And so on, those kinds of statents.

The leader waved his hand impatiently: "Okay, okay, stop murmuring. We must attend to business. Haven’t you seen us waiting here? Quickly, find so representatives for a talk."

The victims didn’t delay. Gathering together, after so discussion, they finally elected a few older or socially reputable people as their representatives to negotiate with the governnt personnel present.

Observing the excited crowd, so even wiping tears, Jiang Cheng felt indifferent about their "happy and forgetful" attitude but understood that common folks cannot be expected to possess high awareness.

Hence, seeing their happiness, Jiang Cheng felt comforted from the bottom of his heart.

The disaster victims didn’t realize that while they thought the governnt hadn’t forgotten them, the reality was that the three extraterrestrial individuals coerced the governnt’s high-ranking officials. Due to their threats, the governnt personnel actively ca today to negotiate compensation.

Under normal circumstances, they wouldn’t even dream of having such a good thing happen.

Representatives of the disaster victims and the governnt staff from Delmar Planet continuously discussed sothing, heatedly arguing, causing Jiang Cheng to shake his head and lower his head to focus on his tasks.

In aiding the disaster victims, he had already done his best, successfully facilitating this negotiation between the governnt and the victims.

Moreover, based on their earlier arrangent with Shorty, they certainly wouldn’t shortchange the disaster victims.

With the arrival of the governnt personnel, Jiang Cheng and his peers could finally take a break.

Representatives from the disaster victims have already negotiated so basic terms with the governntal staff; remaining issues can be set aside temporarily and addressed when their hos are nearly rebuilt.

The imdiate priority is to organize the area into a suitable site and construct houses for the disaster victims. Of course, according to the agreent, before they move into their new hos, the governnt will rent them accommodations to live in for free until their houses are completed.

Amidst rumbling noises, various large machines rolled onto the site; dozens of machines began operating together. Compared to the disaster victims’ manual efforts, this was like night and day.
