When that person understood the Chancellor's intention, he passionately pleaded, asking the Chancellor to give him this opportunity, wanting to prove to the Chancellor that he was an outstanding leader.

The Chancellor was moved by his enthusiasm and words and thus entrusted him with the leadership.

The outco, needless to say, was a disaster; not only did he lose the strategic stronghold he was guarding, and returned defeated, but he almost lost everything; this directly led to the Chancellor's defeat.

Although in the end this person faced the Chancellor's wrath, what good did it do?

This illustrates the importance of recognizing and appointing the right people.

Jiang Cheng deeply understood this point.

The Adjutant was capable, Jiang Cheng knew this, but whether he could et his expectations required further examination.

If, due to his negligence, he chose a wrong leader and plunged the people of Sek Planet back into turmoil, he would never forgive himself.

Currently, the Adjutant was in high spirits, clearly having so thoughts, and he knew Jiang Cheng's intentions for him. Such a person must be kept motivated and passionate; otherwise, he would beco self-destructive. Therefore, Jiang Cheng neither encouraged him due to his high spirits nor deliberately discouraged him.

The Adjutant continued his report to Jiang Cheng: "Today, I plan to organize the adult n here and further familiarize them with the weapons."

Jiang Cheng asked, "And then what?"

"I intend to guide them myself."

Upon affirming his suggestion, Jiang Cheng also pointed out his shortcomings.

Organizing the civilians and training them in combat skills was correct, but the priority should be to carefully observe whether any among them could serve as assistants to the Senior Officer. These assistants must be loyal, knowing whom they serve and to whom they should be loyal.

They must also be courageous; a coward cannot serve as an assistant to the officer, or else he will pose significant risks to the Adjutant, potential risks could be multifaceted.

Additionally, this person must possess a certain level of intelligence, at least higher than the majority here, so he can better grasp the intentions of his superiors and execute them nearly perfectly.

After Jiang Cheng went through the essential qualities the assistants must possess, the Adjutant listened attentively and imdiately began to select the appropriate talents as Jiang Cheng suggested.

The civilians were indeed slow to act. The Adjutant barely managed to gather the n together and forced them to take up arms and stand in a formation. The Adjutant began his work.

The selection process was long and filled with drama.

Those guys wore expressions of bewildernt, making it incredibly difficult to find suitable candidates quickly. The Adjutant had to conduct so tests, and Jiang Cheng, watching silently from the side, was quite taken aback because the questions in the tests were more suited for kindergarten children; even despite this, many revealed confused expressions. It was hard to select even two barely qualified individuals.

The Adjutant gestured helplessly at Jiang Cheng, who also shook his head faintly.

It's not that these people were genuinely stupid, but rather their lack of education was evident; warfare had utterly destroyed the people of Sek Planet, both ntally and physically; they were far behind other planets.

Next ca simple formation drills, followed by aiming exercises.

So either couldn't count off or couldn't distinguish their left leg from the right, making Jiang Cheng incredibly frustrated at tis. He thought, it's no wonder these people were herded around like sheep by the Shi Family without knowing to resist; considering the historical revolts in the Hua Family's ancient past, even these minor uprisings won't be ntioned, large-scale rebellions were rampant, so much so that if the ancestors of the Hua Family were on Sek Planet, the Shi Family's grave would have already turned into a prairie. Seeing the dejected expression of the Adjutant, he advised him not to be in such a rush, as starting is always the hardest; it must be done slowly.

Actually, he was also reassuring himself.

The universe aside, even a hundred years ago on the Water Ball, no, even two hundred years ago, there were no people like these.

He must think of a solution, otherwise he'll end up staying on Ke Planet accompanying these people.

With nothing else to do, Jiang Cheng watched the Adjutant train the civilians. He increasingly suspected these people hadn't yet developed, almost still in a state of chaos, so Jiang Cheng, who couldn't bear it any longer, found an excuse and left the living area.

The poor Adjutant watched Jiang Cheng leave with helpless eyes; he couldn't go yet, as there was still a heap of work waiting for him.

"Attention!" the Adjutant commanded.

Jiang Cheng traveled to Aix Planet and found the planet's ruler, Charles I. Just after Jiang Cheng had left the palace, Charles I heard there was an alien in the palace's conference hall waiting for him, which scared him out of his wits; he wondered whether he had done sothing outrageous that caught the attention of the alien. Walking down the corridor, he sweated profusely, pondering why the alien suddenly ca to Aix Planet.

When he finally jogged into the conference hall, and Jiang Cheng explained his intentions, his heavy heart was relieved.

Jiang Cheng wanted to borrow so people from Aix Planet to go to Sek Planet as teachers.

Why should Charles I hesitate at such a request? He not only complied wholeheartedly but also imdiately instructed his ministers to make the arrangents.

Under pressure, efficiency was high.

In a short ti, all the various teachers Jiang Cheng requested were selected; partly due to great pressure urging Charles I to act with utmost diligence, and partly because he was eager to see the back of this revered figure. In front of the alien, he couldn't help but recall the tis he was reprimanded, which made his legs shake uncontrollably at the thought.

Various teachers were ready.

The palace was already filled with knowledgeable people, and as for the Combat Instructors, a few from the royal guards could be selected; the alien only requested three to five individuals. Charles I gladly and generously provided five.

But a minor hiccup occurred.

When those selected heard they were going to an alien planet to serve as teachers, everyone was ecstatic; it was unheard of for Aix Planet's people to be invited as teachers, so when Charles I's secretary announced the order, almost everyone scrambled to go; so even fought, nearly causing chaos.

When those selected gazed smugly at those who weren't, their joy was overflowing, as it was a governnt-funded trip; how could they not be excited?

But upon learning they were heading to Sek Planet, they all looked displeased; Sek Planet? Why go to that godforsaken place? That undeveloped planet, not to ntion the barbaric customs, it also lacked good food and entertainnt.
