They all knew that whenever there was a tricky situation that the ordinary mbers of the group couldn't resolve, it was ti for Mr. Ballo to step in.
The girl nad Yuan Liangming standing before them was actually Mr. Ballo, which clearly caught many by surprise.
Because Mr. Ballo specialized in assassinations, and the opponents that the group couldn't handle often had considerable prowess. Yet, Mr. Ballo had never failed in dealing with these enemies.
This indicated that Mr. Ballo was an extrely capable person.
Furthermore, everyone in the group was well aware that Mr. Ballo never left any survivors.
If the girl standing before them was indeed Mr. Ballo, as she claid, then there was no doubt that her fair and delicate hands were stained with blood.
While the mbers of the Black Exhaust Group were in suspicion, Ba Lv spoke once more.
"Everyone knows, I have served the group for decades, always loyal, and never done anything detrintal to the organization.
"As long as it's a task assigned by the organization, no matter how much hardship I endure, I always try every possible way to complete it! Have any of you ever heard of Mr. Ballo failing a mission?"
Ba Lv questioned the mbers of the group.
The buzzing sound echoed once again among the mbers of the Black Exhaust Group, and so honest ones started nodding, indicating they had never heard of Mr. Ballo failing a mission.
Ba Lv said again, "I don't expect everyone present to accept my statent, but I welco any of you to point out a ti when I didn't complete a mission."
Ba Lv clearly understood so conversational techniques. If she let the Black Group mbers claim that Ba Lv always completed tasks without fail, it would sound like support for her.
While their top leader just accused her of betrayal.
If they made such statents, it would seem as if they were opposing their top leader.
Now, Ba Lv asked the mbers to point out her failures in completing tasks, which indirectly allowed the Black Exhaust mbers to freely express their thoughts.
But no one stood up to point out any instance where she hadn't completed a task.
During the confrontation between Jiang Cheng and the top leader of Black Exhaust, that top leader accused Ba Lv of being a traitor, which provoked a strong rebuttal from Ba Lv.
She made her declaration to the mbers of Black Exhaust Group.
"When I was ordered by the organization to go to a small town on Erma Planet to assassinate the person in front of ," she pointed at Jiang Cheng, "I'm ashad to say that despite my all-out efforts, I still failed.
However, you all can see the fearso ability of this person; when faced with him, I indeed had no power to resist."
Many mbers of the Black Exhaust Group nodded unconsciously, admitting she was right. Even with Mr. Ballo's strength, when facing this person, she had no ans whatsoever.
In the face of absolute strength, all techniques are futile.
The target Mr. Ballo attempted to assassinate just now had already proven his abilities with the blood of six high-ranking mbers of the Black Exhaust Group.
So veteran mbers understood that even if Mr. Ballo's abilities were extraordinary, his assassination skills could at most slightly surpass one of the deceased higher-ups.
anwhile, her assassination target had just easily killed five of such individuals.
Therefore, it was understandable that Mr. Ballo could not complete this task.
Ba Lv continued, "The person in front of is not part of our Dark World, so after he punished in Lu Shi, he let leave Erma Planet.
However, when I returned to headquarters, the higher-ups of the organization began to groundlessly suspect . In their view, my survival from this person's hands must be because I colluded with them, so without hesitation, they labeled as a traitor!
The sound echoed again, and the mbers of the Black Exhaust Group never thought the higher-ups would be so rash.
These mbers have participated in countless battles, and it's impossible to always win in every fight. So when they fail, they would choose to retreat or even escape.
"As long as the green hills last, there will be wood to burn."
These Black Group mbers, of course, didn't know this saying from Earth's Hua Family Country, but they understood that as long as one is not dead, there would be chances to make a coback.
If every escape was considered collusion with the enemy, every retreat was seen as betrayal to the organization, then so of them might as well have died multiple tis.
Looking at the indifferent expressions on the faces of the mbers in front of her, Ba Lv continued to speak: "I don't know why the higher-ups insist that I admit to being a traitor. Their accusation is a slander on ! I firmly oppose it!"
The interrogation was simple; once they saw I had no intention of confessing, they tortured a bit and then threw into the death cell.
Ba Lvluo said resentfully, "This is the reward for my loyalty to the organization! From the mont I was thrown into that death cell, I lost all hope in such an organization."
Everyone knew what the death cell ant to the people of Black Exhaust. It was a horrifyingly eerie place they wished never to live in, even for a minute.
So of them had been in and out of ordinary cells due to various reasons, where darkness, loneliness, and terror were overwhelming. So even wanted to use every negative word they could think of to describe it.
And that was rely an ordinary cell, not the death cell.
When the guards there attempted to assault , it was the person in front of who saved just in ti.
"When I was so desperate that death seed elusive, it was this person who pulled back from hell."
If it were you, what would you do?
During Ba Lv's speech, for so reason — perhaps due to guilt — the top leader rely sneered and did not interrupt her.
After Ba Lv finished speaking, the top leader just added sinisterly, "A traitor is a traitor, no matter how eloquent you are, you can't cover up your betrayal of the organization!"
Ba Lv said no more after that.
She had said everything she needed to say.
Originally, she didn't want to refute the top leader's words. She had already taken actions that proved her betrayal, and no matter the stance, verbal opposition seed weak and powerless.
But after pondering, she felt she still needed to speak those words.
Not to defend herself.
Nor to garner sympathy from the Black Exhaust Group mbers.
It was sothing she needed Jiang Cheng and the others to hear.
