’Bullshit.’ Xu Yun didn’t believe a word of it.

The mont the trio stepped into the shop, a salesperson imdiately walked over.
Seeing the group—one man and two beautiful won—he figured they must have so ans and asked enthusiastically, "Sir, how can I help you?"
It was rare for new custors to walk into their shop on their own initiative. Every salesperson had their own network of regular clients. Usually, when a new watch arrived, they would offer it directly to one of their regulars. If the client was interested, they’d make a deal, and the watch would be held until the client ca to pay and pick it up.
That was why many of the watches on display in the shop had, in fact, already been reserved.
"I’m here to buy a watch."
Xu Yun replied, "Can you show what you have?"
"Sir, is this your first ti purchasing a watch from our shop?"
"Yes, it is."
"Very good, sir."
The salesperson imdiately understood the situation. He led the three of them to the first-floor showroom and began introducing the watches one by one, none of which were particularly expensive.
After listening for a while, Xu Yun finally realized what was going on. The salesman was only showing him the basic models!
’He’s not showing a single one of the expensive pieces!’
’Damn it, he’s looking down on !’
"Hey, stop."
Xu Yun couldn’t help but frown, interrupting with a deadpan expression, "Don’t you have any better watches? What’s the most expensive one in the shop? Show the most expensive one you have!"
’It doesn’t matter if I can afford it or not; the important thing is to not back down!’
’You’re forcing to act like so uncultured nouveau riche, is that it?’
In truth, Xu Yun had misunderstood the situation.
The shop’s purchasing system was simply set up that way; so of the more popular or limited-edition models were only available via pre-order.
Furthermore, new clients generally had to start by purchasing basic models. Only after building a certain purchase history would they beco eligible to buy the popular or limited-edition pieces.
There were a lot of buyers, so there was a waiting list.

The salesperson was taken aback by Xu Yun’s aggressive tone, and his own confidence imdiately faltered.
He couldn’t help but wonder. ’Have I been living under a rock? What if he’s the heir to so business tycoon?’
’With that kind of attitude, it’s like he could buy any watch he wants, aside from the limited editions.’
The salesperson didn’t dare risk offending him. After a mont’s hesitation, he turned and retrieved one of the shop’s Celestial watches.
’It’s beautiful. Just the kind of watch I like.’
Xu Yun asked, "How much is this one?"
"Sir, this watch..."
The salesperson didn’t state the price, instead preparing to launch into its story.
Xu Yun cut him off again. "Don’t give the whole story. I wouldn’t understand it anyway. Just tell how much it costs. I’m busy and in a hurry."
He was perfectly embodying the ’nouveau riche’ persona.
"Sir, this watch is around 3.2 million."
Xu Yun nodded. "Alright, I’ll take it."
"Huh?" The salesperson was stunned again.
He had only brought it over to show Xu Yun, not intending to actually sell it to him.
The watch had already been reserved by another one of his clients, who just hadn’t co to collect it yet.
And it was the only one they had in the entire shop!
Xu Yun paid no mind to the salesperson’s reaction and simply handed over his bank card.
The dumbfounded salesperson subconsciously took the card. When he looked down at it, his expression grew complicated.
It was a black card—a private banking card from China Construction Bank.
They recognized this type of card and knew the weight it carried, which made him even more certain of his earlier guess.
After a brief mont of consideration, he decided that in order not to offend such a major client, he would sell the watch to Xu Yun. He could deal with explaining things to his other client later.
And so, after the card was charged, Xu Yun successfully acquired his first Patek Philippe watch: the 6102R-001, the Celestial.
As they were leaving, the salesperson proactively found Xu Yun and added him on WeChat, saying that he would notify him imdiately whenever a new, high-end watch ca in.
Throughout this whole exchange, Chen Xin and Yu Xuan had remained completely silent.
It wasn’t that they didn’t want to speak; they just felt that in a situation like this, all they could do was stay quiet. They wouldn’t have known what to say anyway.
But today’s visit to the Patek Philippe boutique had certainly been an eye-opener for them.
They also got to witness Xu Yun’s incredible extravagance.
A watch worth over three million, and Xu Yun bought it just like that, without even blinking an eye!
