"I’m talking about this entire street!"
Facing the saleswoman’s inquiry, Xu Yun clarified, "Not just one specific storefront."
"What? You want to buy this entire street?" The saleswoman’s mouth fell slightly agape in shock, once she was sure she hadn’t misheard.
She could hardly believe what Xu Yun had said and asked for confirmation again, "Sir, you’re not joking, are you? This street has dozens of storefronts."
"Do I look like I’m joking?"
"Sir, please co over to the lounge area and have a seat, drink so water..."
The saleswoman said excitedly, "I’m going to get our sales manager. This is too big of a purchase."
"Go ahead, I’ll wait." Xu Yun sat on the sofa, sipping his water as he waited for the manager.
"Xu Yun?"
Gao Wenwen didn’t have class this morning, so she had co along with her colleague to look at storefronts too.
She never expected to run into Xu Yun here.
In fact, she had been deliberately looking for him.
As soon as she’d arrived, she had spotted his black Bentley coupe outside. It was impossible to miss.
This was their first ti eting since what had happened between them the night before last.
Now that they were eting again, she wasn’t sure how to act around him.
Although she’d said it was no big deal, Xu Yun was her first man, after all.

"No, I don’t have that kind of money."

"And you?"
Xu Yun replied, "I’m here to buy a storefront, of course. I plan on becoming a landlord in my old age."
"You, a landlord?"

As the two were chatting, Gao Wenwen’s colleague ca over.
She glanced at Xu Yun in surprise and asked Gao Wenwen, "Wenwen, who’s this handso guy?"
"My high school classmate, Xu Yun."
Gao Wenwen made the introductions, "Xu Yun, this is my colleague, Wang Dan."
"Hello, Teacher Wang."
"Hello there, handso."
Gao Wenwen asked caringly, "How did it go with the storefronts? Did you find one you liked?"
"I did find one I liked, on the main street."
Wang Dan said, looking a bit disappointed, "But the salesperson just told that I have to wait for now."
"Why?"
"I heard soone just ca in and is planning to buy up all the storefronts on the main street."
Wang Dan continued, "If that person really buys them, then I’m out of luck. They said they’ll co talk to again if the deal falls through."
"Buy an entire street?"
Gao Wenwen exclaid in shock, "Who’s that much of a whale? That’s dozens of storefronts. How much would that even cost?"
"There are so many rich people these days, what can you do?"
Wang Dan looked at Gao Wenwen and teased with a smile, "You’re so pretty. Why don’t you go and try to seduce him for ?"
"Why don’t you go yourself?"
Gao Wenwen glanced at Xu Yun and retorted, embarrassed and annoyed, "You go! Maybe he’ll take you as his wife on the spot. Forget one storefront—the entire street will be yours."
"Now that’s a good idea."
Wang Dan joked, "You’ll be living the good life with then."
"I think that might be a bit difficult,"
Xu Yun said. "The man in question is a respectable person. He’s not one to be swayed by a pretty face."
"How would you know?"
Gao Wenwen laughed and asked casually, "Don’t tell you know the guy?"
"What do you think?" Xu Yun gave Gao Wenwen a aningful wink.
At this, Gao Wenwen froze, stunned. "Don’t tell ..."
Before she could finish, a middle-aged man in a sharp suit walked over, led by the saleswoman.
"Manager, this is the gentleman. He wants to buy our entire main street."
The middle-aged man had initially thought his employee was joking, but the mont he saw Xu Yun, his intuition told him that this young man might actually have the resources to back it up.
"Hello, sir. May I ask for your surna?"
Xu Yun smiled. "My surna is Xu."
"President Xu, a pleasure to et you."
The manager asked enthusiastically, "I heard from my staff just now, you’re interested in purchasing all the storefronts on our main street at once?"
"Yes, that’s right," Xu Yun nodded.
"It’s a bit crowded here, not the best place to talk."
After getting Xu Yun’s confirmation, the man said respectfully, "Would you mind coming to my office so we can discuss the details?"
"No problem."
As the two won stared in astonishnt, Xu Yun got up. He said to Gao Wenwen, "Don’t go anywhere. Wait for ."
"Huh? Oh." Gao Wenwen nodded numbly.
Watching Xu Yun follow the manager out of the lounge and head upstairs, Wang Dan finally snapped out of her daze, finding it hard to believe.
At the sa ti, her face was burning red.
The two of them had just been discussing how to seduce him, right in front of the man himself!
Once she recovered, Wang Dan exclaid, "Wenwen, I never knew you had such a loaded high school classmate! You never ntioned him before."
"We lost touch after graduation. We only just t again recently when he ca back to town."
’Right, we t once and imdiately slept together.’
Gao Wenwen suddenly thought, ’He doesn’t think I’m an easy woman, does he?’
"So that ans the car outside...?"
"Mhm, that’s his too."
"No wonder you disappeared right after we arrived, saying you were going to find an acquaintance."
