"I’ll go with them now!" Gan Luo said.
Tang Zhong nodded, knowing Gan Luo was focusing on training him!
The two of them walked side by side in front.
"You perford well. Commander Liu said you’re being grood. You’re really lucky!" Gan Luo laughed.
Upon hearing this, Tang Zhong felt even more grateful to Liu Tiansheng: "When I have ti, I’ll visit Commander Liu!"
"Alright, let first tell you what you need to pay attention to for this mission. You’ll be going with the best newcors among the Gold, Wood, Water, and Fire Guards. The higher-ups have decided to train this batch of newcors, which is why this mission was set up. Our Earth Guard chose you!" Gan Luo said.
"Okay!" Tang Zhong listened quietly.
"This mission is to deal with so Demons causing trouble at a starry sky ranch in the northern Galactic region. Your task is to eliminate those Demons and reduce losses!" Gan Luo said.
"Understood!"
"Well, that’s about it. When you get there, try to get along with the others and avoid causing too much trouble. The others from the four Guards have slightly better qualifications than you!" Gan Luo said.
"Yes!"
Very soon, Gan Luo took Tang Zhong out of the Earth Guard and into a room.
Even though the Galactic Guard normally takes assignnts at the Mission Pavilion, they didn’t go there this ti.
There were soldiers guarding the door, but Gan Luo took Tang Zhong inside directly.
The room was spacious, and there were already people in it, likely from the other four Guards.
As soon as they entered, Tang Zhong could sense hostility.
A middle-aged man in golden armor said, "Gan Luo, why are you Earth Guards so slow? We’ve been waiting for ages!"
The words carried an obvious disdain, clearly from the Gold Guard’s instructor. Tang Zhong felt uncomfortable hearing this, but Gan Luo quickly gave him a look, signaling not to act rashly, and then smiled, "We had so delays on the way, but we’re here now!"
The other instructors simply ignored Gan Luo.
Gan Luo also refrained from talking with them and took Tang Zhong to a seat.
It was a round table, similar to a conference room, with ten people in total.
"Let’s begin then!" soone said.
In the middle of the round table, a light screen appeared, showing the image of a Demon. It looked human, but its head resembled a jackal, and its spine was like sharp spikes, with unusually long fingers.
Then an electronic voice ca through.
"Welco, young ones from the five Guards. I’m your presenter for this mission, my na is Lisa!"
"What you’re seeing now is the Sharp-Tooth Demon, which lives in the colder regions of the northern Galactic area. Your task this ti is to exterminate these Demons!"
"Now let explain the key points about killing these Demons. Their spine is the toughest part of their body, so attacking from the back is not recomnded. To kill them, you must strike them in the chest and pierce the heart!"
The Demon projection’s chest started to glow red, revealing a large heart, indicating where the heart is.
"You’ve seen where the heart is, and be cautious of their claws. They’re very sharp and as hard as coralline tal, so avoid getting attacked by them, or you’ll die!"
"Alright, I’ll now send you the map of the starry sky ranch!" the chanical voice continued.
Five beams of light shot out from the table, entering the forehead of each person.
In Tang Zhong’s mind, the map of the starry sky ranch imdiately appeared.
"That’s all for this mission. Best of luck to all of you!"
Quickly, the projection on the table disappeared, turning into an ordinary table.
"Alright, you five can set off now!" the Gold Guard instructor said.
"Get them going then!"
Gan Luo rembered to turn back and ask Tang Zhong, "Did you rember what Lisa just said?"
"I rembered!" Tang Zhong nodded.
"Good, treat this mission as training. Avoid conflicts with the others, but don’t let them bully our Earth Guard, understand?" Gan Luo said.
"Okay!" Tang Zhong nodded.
He could sense dissatisfaction towards the Earth Guard from the other four Guards.
"Then let’s go!"
Only then did Tang Zhong take a look at the other young soldiers from the four Guards.
The Gold, Wood, and Water Guards were male, while the Fire Guard was a female soldier with fiery red hair, giving off a hot vibe.
Tang Zhong followed behind them.
After leaving the room, they arrived at a massive platform with a dark spaceship on it.
"This spaceship will take you to the starry sky ranch, so get on quickly!" Gan Luo said.
Tang Zhong followed the others on board.
Inside, he found a seat and sat down.
The spaceship promptly sealed, and then took off.
Inside the cabin.
With the instructors absent, the group relaxed.
The Water Guard male removed his Armor and took out a cigarette from sowhere, lighting it up: "Finally free from those old geezers, it’s truly a relief. Acting all proper in front of them is exhausting!"
The other two n nodded, eyes brightening at the sight of the cigarette: "Cigarettes, brother, where did you get them? Our Wood Guard is very strict!"
"I’m under Captain Huang Xiang. Naturally, he gave it to !" the Water Guard man said, handing out two cigarettes to the others.
Hearing this na, Tang Zhong furrowed his brows. Huang Xiang again!
The three n beca fast friends over the cigarettes and began discussing the mission.
"Going to the starry sky ranch to kill Demons, such a waste of ti. I thought it was a big deal?" the Water Guard man said.
"We haven’t seen Demons yet, have you?" the other two said.
"Of course, I, Yang Tian, have seen them. Demons are trash, easy for us. But, for so people, it might not be so simple," Yang Tian said, shooting a peculiar glance at Tang Zhong.
Tang Zhong noticed Yang Tian was already targeting him, likely due to Huang Xiang.
The Gold and Wood Guards’ soldiers were surprised: "What do you an, Yang? Aren’t we all the strongest newcors of the five Guards? How could we lag behind?"
"I trust you two won’t lag behind, but I’m talking about soone else, and that soone is him!" Yang Tian said, pointing at Tang Zhong. "A guy who joined the Galactic Guard just a month ago, participating in a newcors’ mission. If he doesn’t lag, who would?"
