"Retreat!" Tang Zhong ordered.
Jiang Shuiyao beside him was stunned. They were about to kill the enemy, yet they were retreating? That seed too outrageous!

"Keep following !" Tang Zhong found several small squads of Hell Skeleton Soldiers.

Two cavalryn fleeing in panic t in the mist, mistaking each other for the enemy. Drawing their long knives, they prepared to fight, only to find they were on the sa side, both saying, "Quick, we encountered an enemy attack!"
They looked at each other again: "You also encountered an attack?"
"Yes!"
Just then, more cavalry rushed out from another direction, seeing the two in a daze: "Hurry, there’s an enemy attack! Those people are hiding in the mist, completely invisible!"

"We can’t afford to wipe out the entire troop. Let’s go, captain, there’s definitely an ambush here!" the cavalryn pleaded.

The captain’s brow tightened; being separated into so many groups yet simultaneously ambushed confird an ambush for sure. Surviving cos first, so he said, "Let’s go, we’re retreating!"
And with that, the remaining couple dozen cavalry fled on horseback in panic.
anwhile, Tang Zhong and Jiang Shuiyao were still hiding in the shadows.
After waiting for so ti, Tang Zhong said, "Let’s go; it’s ti for us to leave!"
Jiang Shuiyao remained vigilant: "Why? Those cavalry are still out there. We killed their people, surely they’d be mad and want to kill us. Going out is as good as suicide. If we had killed them all earlier, there would be much less burden in fighting!"

"How can you be so sure?" Jiang Shuiyao was skeptical.

"And would you pursue them if faced with an army?" Tang Zhong asked.
"Of course not! I’m not stupid; I’d never pursue them!" Jiang Shuiyao replied.
"Then that’s good. If those soldiers say they didn’t even see what the attackers looked like, what would you think?" Tang Zhong asked.
"If they didn’t see the enemy, then... that would definitely be scary! No pursuit, retreat first!" Jiang Shuiyao said.
"And now, what the Hell Skeleton Soldiers’ boss is thinking should be similar to what you’re thinking." Tang Zhong smiled and said.
Upon hearing this, Jiang Shuiyao’s eyes lit up: "I get it, I get it!"
