"Now we just need to dig underground!" the ten Fla Dragon Soldiers said.
"Are you saying the item is underground now?" Tang Zhong asked.
"Yes!" the ten Fla Dragon Soldiers replied, "What are you dawdling for? Hurry up and get to it!"
Tang Zhong nodded, realizing he needed to tell Kakarot this information: "Bro, do you know where to look for the treasure?"
The ten Fla Dragon Soldiers sensed there was treasure underground, but they couldn’t tell Kakarot directly, needing only to guide him.
"No!" Kakarot shook his head, "But we’ve certainly slain many demon beasts along the way!"
"Since we can’t find the usual relics, why don’t we turn our gaze underground? Maybe there’s sothing down there!" Tang Zhong suggested.
He couldn’t say it directly, or else Kakarot might truly beco suspicious.
"That’s a thod!" Kakarot’s eyes lit up.
"Yes!" Tang Zhong nodded, "Let’s start digging here!"
Tang Zhong unsheathed his Demon Sword; he couldn’t use the Dragon Claw now. He suddenly leaped up and then landed heavily, his strike creating a fissure in the ground. A large chunk of mixed rock and soil was thrown aside with a rumble as Tang Zhong’s sword struck.
Kakarot wouldn’t be outdone, wielding his blade, slicing violently at the ground!
Eventually managing to split the earth open.
As the earth cracked,
two large pits appeared with their efforts.
"That’s right, the treasure’s aura feels increasingly close now!" the ten Fla Dragon Soldiers remarked.
Tang Zhong continued, wielding the Demon Sword, while Kakarot trusted Tang Zhong.
After digging an unknown depth, there was a clang; evidently, tal had struck stone!
Tang Zhong wasn’t exerting much force with the Demon Sword, fearing that a single slash could destroy the treasure, or even if not, leave a blemish.
Upon hearing the sound, Tang Zhong was grateful for his caution.
He leapt down into the one-hundred-ter-deep pit, reaching towards the bottom, his hand touching sothing hard, like tal!
Kakarot also jumped down, squatted, and took a look at the hard object, his face changed suddenly: "This is Krola tal, a precious tal used in building spaceships. Could there be a spaceship buried underground?"
"Let’s dig it out and see!" Tang Zhong suggested.
Not knowing how large this behemoth beneath them was, it was surely difficult to extract.
But eventually, they excavated it. Tang Zhong and Kakarot mined slowly and cautiously, taking care not to damage it!
When they finally extracted it, they were stunned to find an actual spaceship. Despite its wear and extre age, they could actually enter it.
Ordinary spaceships usually have so defensive systems!
"This ship is really ancient, everything inside is old. I wonder where it ca from?" Kakarot mused.
"Let’s go inside and have a look!" Tang Zhong proposed.
The two found the entrance and jumped in, finding it very dark inside. Tang Zhong spread out his hand, igniting a fla to illuminate everything.
"Let’s move!"
Leading the way, Tang Zhong occasionally saw small creatures scurrying by his feet, similar to mice.
"Seems like this ship is no ordinary one; buried deep but still harboring life!" Tang Zhong murmured.
"Look, there’s bones!" Kakarot shouted.
Tang Zhong focused his gaze, indeed finding two skeletons on the ground. Now just piles of white bones, the two seed to have been fighting, both weapons piercing each other’s abdon at the mont they fell, which was evident from the direction of the swords’ penetration!
No surprise, the two probably perished together!
"Seems like there was a battle here!" Tang Zhong observed.
"In the First World Area, I’ve heard it was a chaotic region long ago, so deaths are common!" Kakarot, quite knowledgeable, added.
Tang Zhong agreed completely!
"I guess the underground treasure is sothing unexpected for the Xingfeng Domain, just a ship. We should keep digging; there might be more!" Tang Zhong continued.
These words were from the ten Fla Dragon Soldiers.
The ten Fla Dragon Soldiers urged him to dig further, so he would dig!
"Alright!" Kakarot nodded.
They continued hacking away at the ground.
With continuous explosions like thunder reverberating.
The underground pit grew deeper.
This ti, more spaceships surfaced, along with nurous sets of armor!
It was undoubtedly a battlefield.
Yet when Tang Zhong struck again with the Demon Sword, this ti, instead of wreckage, a barrier appeared, a transparent barrier!
Tang Zhong recognized that sothing must be beneath this barrier. He lay on the purple barrier, trying to see through with the naked eye.
"This is a Protective Shield, created by soone, probably to prevent others from getting what’s inside!" the ten Fla Dragon Soldiers explained.
"If they want to prevent it, I insist on knowing what’s inside!" Tang Zhong declared.
"Alright, I think so too!" the ten Fla Dragon Soldiers agreed.
Nearby, Kakarot recognized the barrier, his face slightly changing: "Bro, better not ss with this barrier. Avoid potential danger. I’ve seen this before; a galaxy found sothing like this in their territory. Later, they tried mining, and that galaxy vanished, reduced to ruinswith no one knowing what happened. No one dares approach that galaxy anymore!"
"Fortune or ruin, it’s all fate!" Tang Zhong said calmly.
He imdiately drove the Demon Sword, piercing with a single strike!
Kakarot, hearing this, was speechless. Seeing Tang Zhong act, he no longer objected.
As Tang Zhong’s Demon Sword struck, the Protective Shield shattered imdiately, crackling, golden lines spreading around!
With a boom, the entire Protective Shield shattered entirely.
It was just a re barrier!
Through its remnants, Tang Zhong saw an expansive scene, revealing structures, mostly destroyed, and below, nurous white bones and traces of past battles. Below possibly was an organization, presumably invaded by enemies!
Tang Zhong loved being the fisherman, watching two sides weaken each other. That the Protective Shield was intact ant Tang Zhong and the others were the first to reach here.
